Was searching for the smaller rear lights for a 1970 beetle. Just kept coming up with the 1303 style! No matter what year/model/engine was entered. Waste of time!

I like click & collect at most stores , but on this occcasion at gsf it was a disaster. I received confirmation of my order but on arrival at the depot was told that they couldn't find the item and, in fact, it was out of stock. The manager had shown initiative and already ordered it from 2 other depots but was uncertain whether it would arrive that day. Later that afternoon I phoned to check and was told that yes it was now waiting for me. Rushed round to be told by the manager that they had not been able to get the part and that the person taking my call must have been confused by the stock system which was still incorrect! Eventually got what I ordered a few days later on 3rd visit... Hopefully this is a one-off, but it was my worst experience of click and collect at any company.

Hi, As a new customer I am very sorry to have to start with a complaint. The customer service I received today was awful, in part caused by your poorly planned 15% discount scheme, and poor communication to your employees and customers. In short, I ordered the part for in-store collection, and was not allowed the 15% in branch offer because I had ordered on line! This works out to be £1.50 ish, but what has rattled me is the principle of what happened. Being a new father, and having not had any sleep the previous night I may have refused the item and canceled the order, and then requested the part as a separate transaction. But foolishly accepted the sales persons "it's the invoiced price, I can't give you the discount!". Looking back on it, I am annoyed by your companies small mindedness. Especially as this was backed up by a company memo that the sales person showed me. What is the point of having a discount if you are not going to apply it. Very glad that I was not in the position of having to spend more money with your company today. Certainly not going to recommend your company on the VW T4 & T5 forum on Facebook, and will look to other suppliers for my dilapidated van in the future.

I have purchased parts from gfs before but from the shop but after my last purchase that I made online I am not at all pleased as I did not get any confirmation e mail of purchase or receipt or delivery date I had to telephone to confirm my order so online sales seems useless to me.

Easy to get up and running/ordering on the site....however after paying on Wednesday I haven't received any comms to say where ny order is, which in a bit surprised not to have received by Saturday at the latest. I'm sure it will appear but having used gsf in store before and regularly using competitors online delivery service which generally arrives next day I'm a bit disappointed

I ordered on line two parts to collect from the Kingston store which would be ready in one hour. That was easy and simple enough, however.. When I arrived at the store the three staff behind the counter failed to acknowledge me. Two were on the phone busy, fine, but the other one staring at his computer screen continued to do so. There was no greeting or even "Someone will be with you in a moment." I found this to be rude considering the shop is so small. Once served I was told that one part wasn't actually in so I'd have to return the next day. I then asked if it would be okay to use the 15% off voucher I had partially printed and from his response you'd have thought I was trying to rob the place! I was not aware I'd actually had a discount from placing the order on line even though I had not yet paid. Needless to say I didn't return and ordered my parts on line with another company with free delivery at half the price.

2nd time I've reserved online and gone to collect only to find they don't have the part in stock. Next to useless doing it online, may as well just phone up. On the plus side the prices are good and the parts are good quality.
