Having replaced my car I required a replacement number plate for my rear cycle carrier which attaches to the tow bar and has a lighting board where the number plate is attached by 2 nuts and bolts. These bolts require to go through the number plate to attach through the lighting board and carrier frame. I ordered online the replacement number plate to pick up the next day. When I arrived the number plate was then made up for me and the holes drilled to allow me to fit the number plate onto the cycle rack. The member of staff who did this did not ask for anything extra for doing this. I saved some money here as I did not require then to do the fitting but could easily bolt on the number plate myself. I would recommend them for their polite and helpful service.

So booked car in for mot, failed on something to do with breaks, but they cant tell me what for 3 days as thats the earliest they can check due to being short on staff. Fair enough, But they are still taking bookings for mot's today and the next few days! Rather than doing more mot's how about you spend that time looking at my car? Tried to say this to customer support who were no help, just obnoxious and then hung up on me! At no point was I rude, I just wanted him to see my point. To hang up on me is a disgrace. my loyalty towards Halfords is over.

Helped us to select a dash cam and then fitted it and explained how to use it. We have an imported vehicle but this was no problem and now no wires can be seen and the dash cam works perfectly.

I had reason to visit your store in Elgin today to replace and fit tail light bulb, this was done by a very patient and efficient young man named Michael although this was quite an awkward procedure but this was done to perfection by this obviously customer orientated young man he was chatty and explained everything he was doing, probably most times changing tail light bulb is a simple straight procedure but I can assure you this was not the case. Both my husband and I really appreciated the patience he took to complete the task.😁😁😁

Every time I visit your branch at The Fort , Manchester I am impressed by the kindness , cheerfulness , efficiency and knowledge of every single member of staff . Today was no exception . I was served by Vader who could not have been more helpful .He was so pleasant and showed such refreshing passion for his job . I left the shop completely satisfied with the bike I had bought for my grandson and thoroughly uplifted by meeting such an inspiring young man .well done Halfords , The Fort

Purchased 2 Halfords exodus roof mounted cycle carriers in August Used the product twice,and on the second occasion traveling home down the motorway one of the cycle wheel straps failed causing the bike to become insecure and rotating backwards smashing through the rear windscreen of the car. Fortunately there was only my vehicle involved at this time but it could of very easily been a different outcome. I no longer have the carriers as I returned both of them as I believe they are a Dangerous product,Halfords are refusing to pay the cost of the windscreen. After the incident I found one wheel strap to fail locking into position and the teeth slipping out causing a insecure load. I later found out that this product earlier on in the year had been recalled for a very similar defect if not the same but Halfords deny this. So been left with damaged car ,bike and lots of broken glass to clean up along with a hefty windscreen bill!

Went into store to look at dash cams for a new car I was buying. Assistant told me I could order and book on line to have it fitted.....so I booked it and paid. I went to the Stoke branch today and even though I’d booked and been given a time of 8-30am, they had no one to fit it. To cut a very long story short, I contacted Customer services who were less than helpful, just passing me from one person to another....getting nowhere and all of them blaming the fact that I’d booked on line. In the end I requested a refund.....we will see if I get one. But Service was terrible.

Bought a turbo trainer which cost in excess of £200 purchase was made on line and by click and collect. Took advantage of interest free credit offer which is great as I now don't feel as though I'm paying for it. The website advised me to collect the item on the Monday after 4pm so I went to collect it showed the guys my email but the item had not arrived. They said it had been dispatched but not yet received they were extremely apologetic and with a little negotiation they offered to fit the trainer to the cassette on the bike. Not a job I could have done myself. There is normally a charge for this but the lad did it for free he also straightened a slight buckle in the rear wheel of the bike because of a slight inconvenience. Very pleasant and extremely accommodating. Cannot thank them enough fantastic team great service and very good priced deal when reviewed this product Halford had a good price with 11 months interest free credit.

Good shops with a wide range of items for most DIY jobs on cars and motorbikes. Only negative is that I always feel that the store is understaffed as sometimes you cannot find a single employee.

The full service was ok but surprised. They asked three times to do the extra bits (Fuel stuff) and they were very pushy for me to repair the extras at Halfords. I got home, saw some dirt inside the car and oil spilled at the front of the car too. The manager apologised and didn't really care about the feedback concerning the pushy sales and the uncleanliness.
