Well at least Dick Turpin worn a mask and told you why he was robbing you. My wife just got a bill of £123.11 for and MOT and fixes to the car......a Mini Cooper 1.6 auto. MOT £35 Fair enough Fuel System Cleaner £20 Fair enough However got absolutely robbed for the following so be aware BE VERY AWARE!!!!!!!! Stand and Deliver! Front nearside indicator bulb £21.58 fitted Front Offside indicator bulb £21.58 fitted These bulbs are £5 for a pack of two in the shop nextdoor Fuel cap seal £24.95 fitted Needless to say we will not be returning there again having been long standing loyal customers. Things at the Westwood Cross Autocentre have changed and not for the best. I would advise to avoid them. I rang head office and was told this the price charged in the system. Well you won't be charging us those extortionate prices any more......Goodday, Goodbye and good riddance. An angry, upset and robbed customer.

THEY PROCESSED AND DELIVERED MY BATTERY EXTREMELY QUICKLY, WHICH IN THIS VERY COLD WEATHER WAS A LIFE SAVER.

I went to Chilwell Halfords to pick up a click and collect order. No one at the checkout for ages, when a man did arrive he didn’t acknowledge me but answered the phone instead, wandered round the store to fetch something, went back to the phone conversation, and still not a word to me! Came off the phone, and finally acknowledged me standing in front of him, but not with a ‘sorry about your wait, how can I help you’ but with ‘are you alright there?’! Said in an inquisitive way as if it was odd I was stood there!! Rarely go to Halfords and won’t be going back.

Don't make the same mistake I did and trust Halfords with a 'simple' bike build. Pay the extra few pound and take it to a business that can build the bike without actually damaging the bike. Ok sometimes things happen but to damage the bike and then fit parts on I didn't ask for, then that's different. They also lied about contacting me regarding the fitting of the new parts. That did not happen Halfords! After talking to the Inverness branch on the phone about the matter they hang up on me. All in all a really poor service from Halfords and the Inverness branch in particular. Emailed customer services more than 5 weeks ago and to date did not even get a response. Just goes to show they don't care. I don't usually write a review or complain for that matter, but no response leaves me no option but to write this comment.

Went to collect item and they had no knowledge of it in the store. Very annoying as it was at the weekend and had to wait a week before I could carry out the repair. Hence why I went to GFS instead for my next car part!

Bolts on bicycle not tight enough, caused handlebars to come loose going down steps. Is only ever 2 or 3 members of staff working so you're standing around waiting for ages. I once waited about 20 minutes in store before any staff were a able to help. Their bikes suck to be honest, old low end budget parts from 2000 era with pogostick suntour forks. Also you cannot post negative reviews on their site they won't publish them.

Out on a cycle run with a friend on a Sunday Morning when my friend experienced a puncture near Dumbarton Town Centre. Freezing weather so called in to nearby Halfords store who were very helpful and rplaced cycle tube there and then. Twenty minutes later back cycling.. And a very reasonable £13 charge for new tube and labour.

Excellent service when I purchased 2 bikes for my children. Was telephoned to arrange all the details by a lovely gentleman from the Eastbourne store who also informed me of a special offer whereby I could have £10 worth of free accesories for each bike. Very, very happy. Excellent service with attention to detail

I had to purchase a few bits for my new 58 plate Mini Cooper, as there are many types of Mini I was unsure of what items to buy, Halfords staff helped me to find all the correct items saving me time and money. Many thanks Halfords.

Overcharged by over 33% but unable to use their price match policy because they fail to send the emailed receipt that’s needed to claim. Won’t be using them again.

Brought a pair of riding gloves, bit of a problem after getting them home, wrong size inside the pack. Took them back and staff couldn't have been more helpful sorting it out. As I was at the till someone was already going through the entire display making sure it was a one off. Great gloves and service.
