Hi, I want to share my opinion on the staff at Halford Bolton as of today, I had an hour to spend my Van for MOT at 12.40, I was there at 12.30, but due to a viral virus it was written on the site that the store was down and not even working I saw nothing, went outside the door of downtown Mott and waited half an hour for the attendees to look at me smartly and laugh. Then one of the employees came to me and told me that I was already late to get to my garage because I had to be there at 12 and 40 and was there to go to the reception, given that a virus was announced today that did not more people should be approached 2 meters away. I was standing in front of the garages, which saw me very well and could come to me and make fun of me and finally kicked me out of the workshop. He was not interested and shut up, so at this point it is very, very bad and he talks very bad in semi -ford and just thinking of taking people's money and then chasing them like a wild dog. I'm very disappointed with their attitude and the attitude they told me and I have no words at all, they took my money, they didn't even want to talk to me on the phone about my situation and they didn't even give me explanations, they just kicked me out of the service and hang up. That's unacceptable. Booked my car at this branch for annual mot, car motd at the time stated, had a free coffee and a chat as i waited, first class service from Anthony and Ross, highly recommend.!

I took my car to Halfords Bishopbriggs, it was needing a new brake light bulb, I was there about 10 minutes and the job was done, the staff were friendly and helpful it was reasonably priced and I was given a spare bulb, I would highly recommend Halfords

I purchase a 'Dashcam' from Halfords Yeovil a couple of months ago, and had it fitted by them, in my nearly new Vauxhall Mocca X. Everyone involved at the Yeovil depot were 'first class', and extremely helpful, (especially, the engineer who carried out the work), it was completed very quickly, (and cleanly), without any damage to the vehicle, (indeed, it was so good, it could have been 'factory fitted'. We were very pleased with the product, except my 'wife and I' (being not in the first 'bloom' of youth), were confused about some of the technology, a further visit quickly 'ironed out' our problems, as the engineer quickly, and simply explained 'everything' to us, so 'First Prize' Halfords Yeovil....So why then, have I only 'rated' them 3 stars, well, it was nothing to do with the Yeovil Branch, (who as you can read, really deserve 10 stars. I suppose that really, it's probably my own fault, as thought I rarely, (or almost never) take credit, this time, (having recently purchasing the 'new car'), I decided to take the offer of 12 interest 'free' payments, and this is where it 'all went wrong', as after Klana sent me a confirmation of my direct debit agreement, within weeks demanded another payment, I then tried to contact Klarna U.K. (Don't bother !!!), as after reception put me through to finance, I spent over an hour 'waiting' only then to be told, it was the 'wrong extension', I then received another demand from Klarna, (plus a 'fine'for 'late payment') well, as I told them, ''It's a Direct Debit for God's sake' 'you' determine when the payments 'taken'....I then contacted them 'online', no luck there either, so in 'disgust', I 'paid the off', and cancelled my Direct Debit....So Halfords Yeovil 10 start....Halfords financial Director, (Or whoever decided to use Klarna)....Minus 500...SO, WHATEVER YOU DO, 'DON'T TAKE HALFORDS 'CREDIT'....

Good store but kicked me out because my mates were messing about and I didn’t do nothing I just went to buy a inertube personally I think u should only ban people messing about not when there buying something and u locked my mates in the lift and I got a vide...disgraceful!!!

Halfords in store Stroud. Very rude staff. My girlfriend asked for Mann oil filter (usually +/- £14) quoting reg number and showing my text to her of what was wanted. She was sold cheaper filter (+/- £4) for £8. My good lady is not mechanically minded and Halfords saw her coming!!! Sold something not wanted and ripped off as well. When I returned the unwanted filter I was met by a rude member of staff, then two and eventually a third. Gang mentality and not helpfull. Denying my lady asked for Mann filter and denying they were shown text with details. Ripped off and sold something that was not asked for. Plenty of other places to buy from. Next time I will order online from the comfort of my home from people who are happy to sell you what you want but NOT HALFORDS. VERY BAD SERVICE!!!

Got 3 bikes from them 1 had 5 different lots of paint chips that they gave me £6 off the price of the bike because they didnt have any other bikes at the same price or size I wanted then one of the other bikes breaks are rubbing and holding on after they set them up and safety checks where done these where Christmas presents so didnt have time to not take them as they where as I didnt see this till i collected was told there is nothing more they could of offered me

Went to my local Halfords in South Shields. Was seen straight away for a free bike check up. Guy who served me (think it was Elliott) was fab. Knew what he was doing, gave good advice, didn't charge me the earth and obviously loves what he does. So pleased I can go somewhere I trust now. Thank you, I'll be back for some new gadgets for my bike which is working fine now thanks to Elliott 😁

Recently purchased a Carerra bike for our son's birthday, Halfords set it up, took 4 hrs to build it, as "the bits in the box didn't fit together". After a few weeks whilst my son was riding the bike the back wheel came off, he was lucky that he wasn't injured. Since found out on Twitter this same thing has happened to another two families in the UK in the past two months. Store manager was very rude and blamed my son. Advised they could repair "the bike (that) was too dangerous to use" - Manager's words, but repair only at our cost. Not ok Halfords, after paying £300 for a bike weeks before. When I replied I will need to report this to Trading Standards as I don't want any other child to be hurt with their bike wheels coming off, the manager, said, "Trading Standards will do nothing". I had no idea that Halfords treated their customers with such disdain.

Brought a reverse camera had it fitted was not given the box or instructions, plastic panel to my boot is now broken and wont clip back on, dirty fingerprints on my beige interior from fitters dirty hands.. and interior mirror does not Dim even though i brought the dearest one for the dimming feature... try calling them no one answers in putney rd store or abbey lane so gotta go back down on my day off from work... poor service wish i had gone elsewhere .

Poor and shocking service!! Had to share my poor experience. Went to Halfords to buy a bike for my sons 5th birthday. Asked for advice from their experts- they setup a bmx style bike for my son and said all adjustments are perfect for his size... however- he always had an issue reaching the brakes which affected his riding skills, and so was not allowed to go down hills because he couldn’t brake properly! 5 months later went holiday and hired a bike for him, and we were shocked how he could brake and ride with huge confidence! Halfords bike was the problem not my son. Went to Halfords for the trusted brand name but poor cycle setup lead to my son riding poorly! Complained but was told the bikes used and I need to pay for adjustments! Very disappointed! Will go to Decathlon next time as kids bikes are so much better especially brakes and levers! Halfords is a trusted well know brand but this time they robbed my son of his confidence on his bike and yet still did nothing about it... big thumbs down!
