Didn't think it was in-depth enough.

I felt the lady's voice was very dull and spoken on one level, I found it hard to concentrate on the course as her voice made me sleepy. Also, the clicking of the mouse after she had finished speaking on every page was very irritating.

It was comprehensive and necessary but very boring.

Its nothing wrong with the course per se, I'm just not convinced that this is a good way of training people for something so serious. Ignoring that overall bias, the course was quite good but definitely needs more videos (e.g. one for the choking procedure). Some short tests at the end of each section would help things to sink in. Finally, and less importantly, the audio speed should really match the display of text speed.

Not a bad experience. Just use to very good half day courses in it. However just needed a quick update and certificate. Would have liked the most up to date Food Safety First Principles Book with the course. Would have liked a way of asking questions. Thank you

When I did the quiz after completed the assessment, one of the questions is asking why might the child does not want to disclose his problem and there's 4 possible answers. I knew that all possible answers are correct but it was not possible for me to select all of them, only one was abe to be selected and when I checked the answer, it says they are all correct! It means I was not able to get 100 percent!

Whilst the content was good the format was bland and not very engaging. Perhaps typical of an e-learning package!

I felt that some of the research and terminology was a little outdated. The case studies also focused on lower functioning autistic children and stereotypical traits. It would have been beneficial to have some case studies and information regarding higher functioning children; in particular girls and how they often present differently.

The information was good and informative. My only gripe is that one of the quiz questions about the ladder (the one that I got wrong) doesn't make sense. The question was asking what should you do....

It would be good if the training was setting relevant.

no it was ok just took a lot longer than I thought it would

There were a couple of occasions where the correct answer would not be accepted which meant going backwards and changing answers until the test accepted the original answer. Not very "Highspeed" and very frustrating!

Acceptable was the middle option, so would seem not to indicate a bad experience but a neutral one. The course wasn't outstandingly good, as there were sections where the content wasn't particularly clear. In addition, some of the questions in the quiz weren't relevant to the majority of workers having to engage with Data Protection issues. For example, only an organisation's Data Protection Officer is really going to have to engage with the ICO's notification procedure, so a question about the cost of registration is rather wasted. It would surely be more relevant to test whether someone is able to recognise a Subject Access Request or some other element they are likely to encounter in their work.

You should not be able to click out of module until the person has finished speaking

Very monotonous voice used, some of the questions in the quiz were confusing, badly worded and used double negatives.

Nothing went wrong, just not the bet training I have received in this area, not much choice out there, there seemed to be a very token inclussion of child dignity, it covers all the main points, however some of the questions were not asked and answered in the best way

It wasn't a bad experience at all, I think the presentation and style was spot on, and overall the content very good and pitched at the right level. And a really good way of getting a refresher after 2 whole weekends taken up with this in the past! But I just had 2 concerns: the advice on how to treat croup (the NHS website amongst others) advises against the whole damp air in a bathroom treatment. Also, for a fever, the NHS website also states that "sponging your child with cool water isn't recommended to reduce a fever.". (I know the guidance for first aid seems to change all the time, I just wanted to point out these discrepancies. Even if you add a footnote to discuss the different opinions/ medical arguments.) Hope this helps - think this is a really great product.

The training was good. However, I like to be able to print out and review the course in the future if need it and it wouldn't let me.

Hello, Thank you for your review! We do not produce print outs of our course material, as the courses contain interactive material. It is also important that we keep legislation up to date and by providing printed course material it means that users may be referring to out of date legislation. You can however log back into your training and review the course material for 12 months after you have completed the training. To do this, simply log back in (with your login details) and click "Previous" in the modules until you've reached the pages that you want to review. I hope that helps but please feel free to contact our Support Team on 0333 006 7000 or support@highspeedtraining.co.uk if you want any further information. We're here Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. Best wishes, Ashleigh Farigu (Customer Support, High Speed Training)
