Course was a good summary but could have been improved with practical practice tasks. Presentation was wordy and pictures distracting when visual examples of what was being discussed could have been more useful.

It wasn't bad experience just time it took for the literature to upload on to the screen which is not a bad aspect if your not a quick reader, but overall the experience was good and I achieved what I wanted.

Hi Alvin, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you found the course to be a little slow. For future reference, you can adjust the speed of the course by going in the settings section shown as a 'cog' in the bottom right corner of your course page. I'm glad your overall experience was a good one, if you need anything at all please get in touch directly! Thanks again, Lizzy Newman (Customer Support, High Speed Training)

Not so much a bad experience, but I have a query on the issue of applying CPR to someone if working alone. Page 10 of section 2 states that if you are alone, 'give person CPR before calling emergency services'. This goes against the first aid training I have just completed. I was trained to call for help first or at least know you have back up in the form of the emergency services prior to starting CPR. This is because once you start CPR you cannot stop until someone of authority says you can or the patient 'comes round'. Also you may get tired and become unable to continue CPR. Having used the reusci Anne doll in practice, it really is tiring, and that's without emotion / pressure of dealing with an actual person. In this situation I would ensure the patient would not come to further harm, dial 999, then do CPR in accordance with the first aid training I have received.

HiHi I have just completed the on line test but have a query over question 13. All of the 4 possible answers would have an affect on a child experiencing DVA however, the system would not allow me NOT to tick any boxes and move onto the next question? I found this very frustrating as I would have scored 15/15 I would very much appreciate If my results could be amended. Kind regards Patricia Holdsworth

A couple of minor mistakes throughout which I forgot to write down; One about Vitamin K being given to all babies - true it is usually given but it is technically optional. one of my questions was which food should not be given to infants due to its allergenic properties. To which I answered bread as this is mentioned in the course as leading to a higher chance of getting coeliac disease. It said that this was wrong and that honey was correct but the course mentioned nothing about honey being an allergen but that the reason you should not give this to infants was due to bacteria. Thanks

The training as a whole was very easy to use and clear, with easy access so it could be completed over a period of time. However I found the questions in the test were very ambiguous, often with more than one sensible answer. Also sometimes in the training modules there were mistakes, with sentences being repeated exactly. The food borne disease and bacteria sections also didn't flow logically, with the sections chopping and changing.

Content was there but the course was basically two hours of lists being read out - not the best to keep interest.

The course was ok but although I completed it. It really wasn't very relevant to my child minding and i thought it would involve more food related issues rather than machinery.

Content was good, aims of the course good and basic information of how to behave in the professional environment was good. In my opinion the slides were too word strong and not enough visuals applied, there is a voice over already which does not correlate to the timing of the wording which means you are reading faster than you're hearing and can make it confusing or just irritating.

It was never going to be the most entertaining of subject but if you had more than one person reading the material it would help to keep interest. One voice for 3+hours is rather tedious
