“I have been buying clothing from Hobbs for years. Always stylish and great quality. I have to say though that the A/W collection has been disappointing, really quite frumpy. But I got some great items last summer which I was delighted with.”

“Hugely disappointed with Hobbs. I placed my order for a Cavendish coat to no avail. After a period of a few days they write to say they could not source it, had no stock. I find this hard to believe that it is not in stock in any of their stores. No compensation offered as a result unlike other retailers!”

“I was recently in London and visited two stores. The clothes were lovely but I felt that the service was rather offhand in both. I also felt for the first time that a larger woman is not advantaged by you. This was the opposite impression I’ve gained from my extensive experience of buying online but it made me realise that larger sizes could appear in your online advertising too as they are usually particularly flattering, being so well designed. I asked for this jacket in your flagship store and was ‘told’ it had long since gone, so I bought it at home online in Australia substantially discounted. In London I did appreciate the chance to check a few fabrics, cuts and sizing in store so I can continue to buy knowledgeably from Aust. Overall, Hobbs is an excellent, hardworking, elegant brand for women seeking quality in timeless pieces to build a lasting wardrobe. I use navy as my neutral and can usually find what I’m looking for.”

“Ordered online but didn’t receive any delivery update until I contacted Hobbs through chat, that’s below expectation. Then when I received the coat it was just wrapped with one Hobbs branded tiny paper without hanger, no plastic wrap and that’s it inside a non-waterproof paper bag! Could u imagine that’s how an expensive wool coat be wrapped and delivered? Not for me! I am disappointed with the packing. Seems like I have ordered an £10 item!”
