“I had a problem with the first dress I bought. The hem was not even, the top layer of chiffon was too long in one place, and the lining showed through the dress so that you could see the dress was uneven. Dress also came creased in a small bag giving the impression that the dress had been sent out before and then put back into the bag not steamed again and without being folded correctly.”

“The staff in my local store in Tunbridge wells are standoffish and come over as rude. They don’t offer to help unless they think you are their “type”. As a result I’ve stopped going there. I liked the dress though and needed ones for an event. So I used them. I won’t be back as nothing has changed. I asked to try it on as I’d ordered online. They sighed, then said they’d have to find a hanger. Then put it in a changing room and didn’t even tell me!!”

“Ordered on line and never received. Hobbs customer service is almost non existent. If you ever want to buy from Hobbs I'd recommend you only ever buy from a shop. Hobbs mail order is the worst I've ever encountered, dreadfully packaged, clothes arrive in a totally unacceptable state even though you're talking about a lot of money. No care taken and customer service is abysmal and totally disinterested.”
