I am usually impressed with Hobbs but the way in which the sale dress arrived was very disappointing.

I would have given 5 stars but two things happened. The day after I bought mine they were reduced. The return of the items took me all morning to sort. The items bought in store weren’t easy to return as apparently the online system doesn’t recognise the order code. I had to wait 24 hours for this to arrive.

Clothes come up large and the store could not process the return of my online order which was annoying as had to go to post office

I went to the merry hill branch and was served by a lady called Natalie and when I said I wanted to return one of the pairs of trousers I ordered she pulled a face and said oh .can I not return them and she said I don’t like returns … not very good customer service from a company that has excellenf quality items and would expect the same in your customer service

I have quite a few pieces of Hobbs clothing . However the delivery quality is appalling. The clothing I received was incredibly badly packaged, the tape was falling off the box and the clothes were open to the elements, so will have to travel out of town to shop at a Hobbs store to ensure the clothing is in good order. Very disappointing.

My dress was perfect, but sadly on getting ready the belt loop was broken and at the occasion the button on the left sleeve fell off with the cuff flapping. Very disappointing of a quality product.

I love Hobbs clothes normally but recently the material and fit haven't been good. The returns process wasn't great either. I ordered this click and collect from local store. I tried it on in store and wanted to return. They weren't able to process a refund so they packed it up for me and I had to take it to the post office myself which seemed a bit strange and not a good use of my time.

This was my second purchase of this coat as the first arrived without the belt, and with a tissue in the pocket - ordered online. The only replacement available was in Glasgow - I live in Nottingham. They couldn't send it out to me so I had to make a long journey to the Lincoln store to collect my replacement. Not the usual service I expect from a brand like Hobbs.

Some of Hobbs lines are definitely my wardrobe staples. Jeans are my go to brand. By the lack of availability in my style I think I am not the only one! If you want work smart clothes Hobbs are great. However I am now retired and find increasingly there is a lack of casual day wear and hence I have migrated to other brands who accommodate this more comfortable look.

Anything I buy is always lovely fit and good quality. Buying online is disappointing as packaging is terrible. I used to look forward to my Hobbs delivery in nice box with purchase in nice tissue paper not now. Delivered in paper bag. So disappointing.
