The return by post was diabolical. I had to contact Hobbs to refund me and it took over 3 weeks from posting to get a refund The dress I took back to store was refunded very quickly Only 3 stars due to post refund service

I loved the look of this Lois embroidered dress online and thought it would be perfect for my daughter's wedding in May. The ordering and payment process was easy and I received email confirmation of the order and an order number, so I was really looking forward to the dress arriving and being able to try it on. However, the next day I received another email to say the dress could not be sourced, so the order had been cancelled and a refund was being processed. I was very disappointed, as I didn't understand why I was able to go through the whole ordering and payment process successfully, on the basis that the dress was in stock, if the dress wasn't actually available, so something seems amiss with the online ordering system

Absolutely beautiful trousers and would have kept them had they not been so long in the leg!!! I am normally a regular size but these trousers were made for a 6ft model!! Disappointed that I had to return them as they were at least 10/12cm too long with no alternative in leg length available.

I loved the jacket, colour etc. but found the sizing wasn’t any good for me. Normally the petite 10 in a jacket is perfect for me, in the shoulders particularly. The jacket did not fit there, and felt more like an 8. It took a little time to get hold of a petite size 12. However that was too big in the shoulder. I don’t think the problem is my sizing there as I’ve never had a problem before. Seems like the 10 is too small in the shoulder, the 12 too big (so it needed to be in the middle of that). The 12 also didn’t look right at the back, spare material scrunched up at the back under the arms, worse on the left. I loved the colour of the jacket and it would have gone so well with my three best dresses. I’d just comment how helpful your Hobbs staff are in Cheltenham, the blonde lady in particular who did the refund (second one definitely). Really tried to help, was sympathetic. Staff like that deserve a pat on the back! I was also very impressed by a really helpful lady at your Covent Garden Hobbs shop who really took time to listen to my query about stock of the jacket when I rang to enquire. Regent Street didn’t answer. So it was a real pity about sizing, but your staff that I did manage to speak to did their best to help.

Disappointed with the top that I purchased. Material thicker and not as pleasant as I had hoped. Something that I really object to is the ridiculous amount of packaging. I realise that Hobbs might be trying to be "eco" with a cardboard box, but it was way too big for the top - ridiculous. It could still have been wrapped nicely in tissue paper, but put into a cardboard envelope style box. The wastage on cardboard to send me this top was ridiculous! Did not like top, material thick and really not nice.

I was very disappointed by the condition of the coat when it arrived. This was a considerable purchase for me and with Hobbs reputation I did not expect to receive a garment that was unwearable. It has definitely put me off purchasing online. To be fair I contacted customer service and they offered me up to £20 to get it professionally dry cleaned. In the end I risked it and pressed it myself. The coat is beautiful, fits perfectly and is very flattering but the overall experience rather deflating.

Beautiful clothes / bags / shoes . However it’s such a shame that the recommendations on the web site for accessories to go with clothes really don’t match . For example the Ros dress recommendations for shoes and bag. The colours simply do not match , which is so disappointing and waste of time. For a company like Hobbs with little competition, this could be so much better.

I have a navy one which I love. Sadly the yew green one arrived with a hole in it on the shoulder. Currently the matter is with customer services. Having worn the brown one once, I was just ironing it and noticed a hole in the left shoulder of this jumper. So disappointed. I will not be buying these again unless I can try on instore to check for holes

Return throiugh DHL service centers only was inconvenient. Had to drive 40 minutes away to return!

Sadly the coat was terribly creased when it was delivered.I used to shop Hobbs all the time but now I find dirt quite formal and old fashioned

I love Hobbs but the Marilyn dress didn’t fit right. It was very blousy on top with big gaps u see the arms.

Hobbs clothing is usually lovely quality and good designs. I love that they offer petite styles. Fast delivery, easy returns. 3 items delivered by 3 different couriers on 3 separate days was a bit annoying though for 1 order!

The trousers are of great quality but VERY long for 5' 1" me and it has cost me £35 to have them altered to fit. Such a shame Hobbs didn't do petite size. I chose the trousers and matching top for travel which I'm sure will be comfortable.

Tried on in Covent Garden store where the staff were nothing short of horrible, I honestly have never been made to feel so uncomfortable, they treated me like I was a thief. Didn’t buy in store as I didn’t want those staff to benefit in any way from my money, so ordered online and collected in Southampton where the experience couldn’t have been more different, Hobbs should cherish the staff in that store

Stores live up to the brand image but packaging and delivery do not . Dress was packed too tightly, packet arrived squashed and a hole torn in it.
