Took my money and never delivered my goods 3 weeks trying to call them and emails no reply. I would not recommend anyone to trade with Homebase they are the worst company to deal with. Tomorrow I am reporting them to trading standards and may even consider reporting them to the police for theft, please take my advise DON'T BUY FROM HOMEBASE>

Ordered new wardrobes in early Feb 2020 and was told 6 weeks,which I thought was a long time,considering we had a full kitchen delivered quicker!!,any 8 weeks later still not here. Phoned the customer services,the usuall '' we are experiencing high levels of calls blah blah'' 35 mins I gave up. Shockingly bad,its a we, have your money so we don't care attitude,even if they emailed to apologise for the delay would help at least you would know that something was happening!!!! never never never again,I have told everybody so hope it sticks small attitude store with grand ambitions they cannot deliver. Thank God I didn't get the kitchen from them as well!!!

Not surprised Homebase are having difficult times, Just looked on there website for a basin tap they list a Bistan Britz at £89 the same tap is available on Screwfix at £44-99 almost 50% cheaper

Bought some paint at Cromer store when I opened it was not the colour on the tin, took it back and was told cant return it as tin had been opened !!! How do you know what colour is inside if you cant open it. Tried to fob me off with stupid reasons, after inspecting contents agreed it was not the right colour. Terrible customer service, bad way to deal with a problem. I only bought there because they are onle 8 miles away and its I 12 miles to my next paint store. Wasted 2 hours of my time and travelled 32 miles in total back and forth twice. Even when proved right no attempt of an apology.

Homebase in Streatham Vale , order a bathroom and waited two weeks and no delivery. I called only to find out that one my ordered items was not in stock and they had no idea when it would be. I proceed to cancel my order which was itself a nightmare 3 different people telling me different things about how to receive a refund. The staff all seem very lazy and not very clued up one what they job is and how to do their job. I wont even by a pot of paint from Homebase now

Very bad experience with this shop. I placed an order online 26th of January, today is 12th of February and I only received less than half of my order. I had to cancel one part of my order because of delivery company, who has lied more than one week they are coming but somehow they could not reach me. We were home waiting and been able to accept parcels from other companies, but only Fedex could not reach me..... Other part of my order is somewhere, God knows when I will receive it. Order summary says everything must arrive within 14 days which is not true. As well I keep waiting for refund for the cancelled stuff already one week. Homebase should stop selling online. 0 stars for Homebase!!!!

Order has not arrived. Called a builder who I had to pay who couldn't finish the job as the items did not arrive and still waiting for item. All they say is sorry and no help

Went to kings heath Birmingham branch to purchase wallpaper . After finding the wallpaper I wanted there were not enough rolls on the shelf . The extremely unhelpful member of staff told me they only had the paper that was out . Didn’t give me an option to order online , or to offer to try another branch for stock. Most unhelpful . Definitely will not be purchasing anything from here .

My son bought a bathroom suite on line. When the plumber arrived to fit it, he found the toilet cistern cyphon didnt seal off properly and was letting water leak into the bowl, so when he phoned they said they didnt carry spares for bathrooms and promptly hung up on him. We now give Homebase a wide berth.

Bought a kitchen from or local Homebase in Essex The designer drew the kitchen to small when I Queried it in the designer stages he said that I couldn’t have all those kitchens but when my fitter came message there was plenty of room we had to wait a week for the new kitchen to be delivered and when we received it three bits were damaged and had to be reordered constantly phoning the store to get things reordered as they were damaged items and they don’t bother to ring me back

Went into store to hire carpet cleaner. Three cleaners available all three staff could not work the hire system after taking my details etc 20 minutes in store no cleaner being allowed to hire complete waste of my time never again at this store another customer gone and you wonder why store are closing !!!

We visited Homebase in Harrogate yesterday. It was our intention to order and buy a wet wall shower panel. There was no one available to take our order. There were no more brochure to check the order number. We were not allowed to take a tile home to check, the colour, even though there was another one. We could for an hour, I am not sure why the assistant manager did not believe we would bring it back. Matty seemed more interested in sorting out Christmas trees than speaking to us. The store has lost our business of nearly £500 and any future custom. We shall not be visiting Homebase again in Harrogate. The only positive thing to say was Janet was very helpful and apologetic, she offered a solution, which was to return when there was someone to help. She was really lovely and obviously the situation was out of her control.

Totally incompetent management. Faulty goods returned and accounted for, yet I am still waiting for my refund. Apparently a mistake was made and I now need to wait another 3-5 days. No one calls to advise of this, you have to constantly chase the company. Chasing this refund for several weeks now, two mistakes and several calls later, I am still £700 out of pocket. Something to be mindful of, should you purchase anything of substantial value from Homebase.

Disgraceful In good faith we purchased a new kitchen from Sevenoaks and within 12 months the doors are blistering We reported this to the store manager Tom Murray who came out and said these doors were poorly manufactured and should of be fully sealed. Excepted liability and said he would order some new ones but unfortunately the manufacturer was no longer available so they would have to come from new supplier They were ordered and colours do not match . We said we wanted all doors replaced so manager sent independent surveyor out who didn’t even know what he had come from, we were told report would be one week . 4 weeks later after chasing Sevenoaks branch the manager has said although the doors are not the same and from a different manufacturer they can’t replace all of them because of cost and after time all the colours will blend in? But the other doors are still not sealed units as they should be and not the same colour as the new ? My daughter is a dual qualified Lawyer and Barrister and I’m telling you now I will take this as far as I have too. Homebase have already excepted liability that the doors are not good enough but expect us to have doors from two different manufacturers that do not match. You took our money in good faith and have NOT provided us with goods as promised. You are in breach of the contract and trust me the contract is being professionally assessed should we need to take legal action Yours Mr & Mrs Teasdale

Couldn't repair a Qualcast mower costing £90 after 2 years They weren't prepared to repair or order new parts very unhelpful. Staff did not want to know details.

Could not test light bulb and lamp… Could not test light bulb and lamp shade in store! Staff member refused to let me! Time to switch to faceless Amazon where the service is better! This was in a store with 20+ lights switched on and being sold in store! Recommendation: Shop elsewhere. Homebase, Cambridge.
