I checked price of a Qualcast mower online-availability at Norwich's Hall Road was 1,but Dereham was showing 3 so I headed to Dereham to be sure ( l hoped ) of getting what l wanted. Could not find any of the particular model l was after on display so had Paul H check the stock-room.He couldn't find any either, when the Branch Manager just happened to pass by.He couldn't find any either so he offered me the same sized mower,but power-assisted for the same price as the push version l had gone in for to make up for my otherwise wasted trip.Very happy customer-thank you,Sir

Mike and Douglas from Homebase Harrogate delivered some furniture. One piece was different but they sorted it out immediately and were both courteous and professional

I looked online for a 24" broom to spread sand on my drive. Homebase had one so I visited the Rayleigh store only to find there wasn't any of that online type in the store. However a really lovely man named Nick helped me to find one. He directed me to an area where there were floor brushes and I found exactly what I required. Nick was extremely helpful as I had looked previously and couldn't find anything suitable. I purchased the floor brush which was a beter price than the one online and it is perfect for the job.

Shocking customer service, place the order on 31st of May, still no delivery, call them three time, no one can help, don't buy anything from this store!!!!!! AVOIDE

Avoid acton homebase. Worst service ever. Most of the staff are hiding from doing any work. Place is a mess. One star is ten to many. You have been warned

On line order, quoted minimum of 7 day delivery, 2 weeks later and I still havnt heard anything. Contacted customer services who have fobbed me off on several occassions as well as lied to me, promising my order will arrive next day etc. Of course nothing turned up and further requsts for information from them have been ignored. Homebase customer services are non existant, a total waste of space, the company itself is basically scamming and stealing. Bunch of thieves, no product no refund yet

Trying to buy a fan during the recent hot spell we must have had the same idea as everyone else. They have been pretty rare! The one we wanted was eventually dug out of the storeroom by a helpful staff member as the shelves were bare, even though stick levels were showing three online.

Homebase in North Finchley seems to be in its death throes. Staff (if you can find them) try there best to help and keep cheerful but they seem very stressed. Stock in general is always very low. I understand the store is on its way out. Being taken over by someone called Bunnings? But not for another year. They surely can't go on like this for another whole year!

£99.97 - Purchased the homebase 3m x 3m blue waterproof gazebo, what a waste of money!! The side has 3 small pieces of Velcro to attached the sides and these are not sticky at all and the slightest breeze, these come loose, for this kind of money it should have zips or ties. I don't recommend this gazebo at all.

We got a new bathroom and had it installed by Homebase late 2016. It was the worst move we ever made, still having problems shower works when it wants, we had mismatch tiles on floor, a second plumber called and told us the fittings on shower were not correct, they never return calls my contact with them Mark is ignoring my calls and txt's .

On the many occasions that I visit Homebase, it's more difficult to locate a member of staff than it is to find the item I need help locating!!

Just visited the Newton Abbot branch and a tad disappointed. Tried to find some plinth clips for the kitchen units and told by reception to go to the kitchen department where they would not have them in stock but would be able to order them. On the way I stopped to look at the kitchen taps and decided to buy the Zenith at £97. I went round and round but was unable to find anybody to serve me, I then called down to the ground floor and asked if there was anybody about to help on kitchens. A young lady, Katie, arrived and was very pleasant and helpful with information about the tap but was unable to find one so said she would order it for me. I also asked her about the plinth clips but she was unable to find them either on the computer or in the books, also the tap would not arrive till July 3rd! At this point I gave up and said to leave it and I would look elsewhere.

We waited patiently as the customer in front of me was served at the kitchen service desk. The female employee just disappeared and, basically, never came back! We had been in once addmpdwtm buy a tap. The only one in stock had parts missing and we were told it would take a MONTH to get another one in!!??
