Purchased a freezer online and my credit card was charged December 24th. First delivered freezer never made it off the truck as the door was smashed. Second freezer delivered January 10th, again damaged and smashed in the back. Home Depot picked up the freezer January 14th after THREE phone calls trying to receive my credit card refund and NOT receiving it I filed a dispute with my credit card company! There are too many big box stores to purchase from. I will NOT be shopping at Home Depot again!!!

Delivery went to the wrong address; they never texted ahead of time as they usually do to say how far they were; they never called and then i got a note that they did not find me at home... they went to the wrong address.... and then was on hold for 55 mintues with the driver and then hang up on the call. TERRIBLE

I purchased alot of bamboo flooring which we picked up ourselves, I was having a hard time getting it put together so I went up there to home depot to see if they could explain what I need to do with this particular flooring. I was told they could put my name in the system for their contractors to call to explain. So they couldn't have anyone in the store come and help me out. Their so called contractors kept calling me and one gave a good price to come and do it. I went ahead and let him since he was contracted through a place who does lay floors. They did such a lousy job. I pointed out broken pieces of flooring pieces that I could literally grab with my hands and just pick up after they claimed to have laid it they said they would fix it and they did not they put holes in my walls and did not leave any expansion gaps between each plank so now my floors are starting to pop up. They left debris laying on my shed outside a window and did not even want to put my baseboards back on and they didnt. I spoke with home depot about this who said they dont settle these issues since it is through a contractor. They also said they would send me a link to send pictures and could possibly send a $500 check which couple months later still waiting for this link. I have been out around 4700 dollars for these floors and all home depot can say is sorry that happened. HELLO HOME DEPOT YOU SIGN THESE CONTRACTORS ON AND PROVIDE THE SERVICE FOR CUSTOMERS TO BE CONTACTED BY THEM. You provide a service and will not take responsibility. Maybe you should make sure these contractors are going to make you look good instead of like a bunch or morons who can't perform the job you are supposed to be experts in. Dont offer a service if you have no idea what kind of contractor you signed on. And dont offer a service you can't make good on. You take 1st come 1st serve contractors and it doesnt matter what kind of work they really do as long as you get your money. I'm done shopping home depot and will take my money and all my projects somewhere where they can be honest and hold some kind of conscious. I left my email below for home depot if they would like to reach out for redemption. I tried posting pictures but it wouldn't post the review with them

Waited 10 days for a new washer. The delivery driver broke the door to the washer unloading it from the truck. Then they still wanted to deliver it. Last washer or appliance we ever buy from Home Depot.

We've spent around $200k at the Seymore store in last 5 years. Home Pro Desk guy that I work with is great! I place a large order for flooring for them to ship it out on a semi truck. I live in a rural area and can't accept delivery. I call the Seymour store to try to arrange delivery there and I would pick it up from the store, but the Manager was unfriendly, unhelpful and doesn't clearly understand the term customer service. I guess they have enough business that they don't care if they lose a customer that spends that kind of money in their store. And to add the computerized phone service is extremely frustrating! I won't spend another dime at the Seymour Home Depot or probably at Home Depot ever again.

I placed a large appliance order consisting of a refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. I did not pay for any installation. My son met the delivery as I was out of town for the week. When I returned to inspect the appliances, I found that ONLY the refrigerator was unboxed and installed. (should have never left the box) It was severely scratched and the brand new floors were severely damaged. I have been on the phone for countless hours with home depot online and the local store trying to return the damaged appliance and get my floors fixed and have gotten nothing but the run around, disconnected, on hold for 40 minutes and then hung up on, for weeks. The bottom line is they wont take it back after 48 hours and can care less about my floors. HOME DEPOT is taking no responsibility for the delivery company. I have been a solid customer of Home depot and WILL NEVER shop there again. Completely unprofessional!

Ordered a refrigerator and dishwasher on Dec 27, including installation and hauling away of the old. Getting the refrigerator in place was urgent as my old refrigerator is leaking water, requires mopping up at least daily, and the water is ruining my laminate floor. Used the PayPal option to pay for the order, and DO see the transaction on my PayPal account. Never received an email confirming my order, or providing my order number. New appliances should be delivered tomorrow, but Home Depot has no record of the order, and has informed me that I need to have PayPal remove the charges, and then replace my order. Completely unsatisfactory - I cannot wait 6 more days to receive the appliances, and the sale is over, so re-ordering means I will have to pay full price. Will NEVER patronize Home Depot again. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Awful company nc dreadful customer service.

Ordered hurricane windows March 8th, 2022. They were installed June 30th with lots of issues: locks missing, window Sashes that don’t fit, etc. A sun contractor came in October and told us we had problems and took all of our screens and told us they would return in 2-3 weeks. I call customer service and get routed around for hours only to be told I will be called by my representative. It never gets solved just passed to the next person.

Ordered Samsung washer and dryer. Appt is imagery $1500. Dropped off W/D said corrosion on the valve and refused to put it in. Two weeks later will waiting in someone to put them in. Suppose to have come the 2nd time in the 22nd December. No show. Called and they don’t see the order. Spent hour on ovine just trying to get back my monies I paid for taking away appliances and installation because they wanted us to wait until 28th of December. The appliances have been sitting in the kitchen since 12th of December. We have always purchased all of our appliances from Home Depot. Won’t be doing that in the future. What a big let down. Oh, and I am still waiting for a call back from the manager. Zero stars this last go around. Big disappointment.

I ordered a LG washer and dryer on September 9 and it is December 24th and I still don't have a working washer and dryer. I have spent hours on the phone. The first washer they brought was dented so I refused delivery. I was to have another in a week. Well it never came. Every time I called they gave me a date and even said it was on the truck, but it never arrived. After two months the operator cancelled the order and placed another. That one arrived on November 30th. When they put the dryer on top of the washer, the cord wouldn't reach the outlet. The cord either has to be replaced or outlet moved. The machines have never been pushed all the way into the laundry closet and the last repairman informed me the closet is not deep enough. The installer assured me they would fit or I would not have accepted delivery. Home depot and LG pass responsibility back and forth with great dexterity. This review is about home depot but LG is no better to deal with. This is the short version of a very long story but I hope it gives you some idea what you are up against if you buy from Home Depot.

I had the worst experience at the Home Depot in Jackson MI. Long story short, we went in store to order a storm door for replacement. After picking out our door, we went to schedule installation. The computers were having issues so we were told the order was placed and we would get a call from installers. After a week, we went back in store to see what the status was. We were told that the order we had was blank and thus cancelled. I was frustrated but I understand things happen. So we went through the process again. I was assured by the manager that we would receive better service this time. We did get the installers to the house to measure the door. Per the printed document we got from Home Depot, we expected a call to schedule the appointment within a week. It is now 3 weeks after and we hadn't heard anything. I just called to check status and wouldn't you know it, our order is blank again. No info on the door we supposedly ordered. The manager I spoke with was completely unhelpful. She transferred me back to Jim in millworks (who was kind, apologetic, and trying to be helpful) only to be told that we would have to start over again. I am done with Home Depot. I can't believe that lack of responsibility the management team took for this. It is a little project but between my dad and my brother-in-law and myself, we have spent MILLIONS of dollars on materials. So I decided to buy the door at Lowe's and will have it installed by a local contractor. It will be done next week. And now I am going to spend this snowy afternoon letting everyone know how disappointed I am in the response from Home Depot.

I would give home depot a 0 because that's exactly what I got from them but you have to give them 1 to leave a review. I ordered a stove and dishwasher for a rental house to be delivered 12/17/22 When it didn't show they lied to me and said the truck broke down rescheduled on 12/21/22. appliances didn't show again. after going to home depot I was told the order was canceled 22 days later with no notice to me I will never spend another dime at home depot It's LOWES for me Larry

I had to take the day off of work for a washer to be delivered and when I was the next on the list for delivery they canceled. Delivery driver told Home Depot it was because of snow which we have zero snow on the ground and it’s not even supposed to snow for another at least 24 hours. When I called Home Depot customer service, I was online for an hour and a half and the delivery guys kept hanging up on her for it the whole time. Don’t bother with having them deliver!

On December 8th, 2022 at approximately 14:33 I rented a F250 Flatbed Truck for 4 hours from Home Depot Store #0566. Contract #351427. I returned the truck at approximately 1838, a young boy around 18 years old, by the name of Josh, took the keys from me stating that he was going to check the gas. He returned and told me that the gas hand was not where it was supposed to be. Before returning I took it to the gas station and replaced the gas to where I thought was how I received it. Josh, told me that I could go down the road and put more gas in it. I returned back to the truck and went to another gas station this time filling the truck to the max. When I returned, he stated that he was going back outside to check. Josh returned stating, it's still not where it needs to be. This was unacceptable. The truck was on full. I asked to speak with a manager and asked him why was he stating that the gas hand was not where it was supposed to be? He started to look down at the ground. He then closed out my ticket, charging me a 195.00. When the manager arrived (Marlene) she told me that it was nothing she could do to refund me the money because he had closed out my ticket. She then went on to ask me if I wanted to go pick up some items in the store and that she would give them to me for free!!I told her no, that I was going to file a complaint on Josh and that he needed to be terminated. This is not only not being honest but theft. I believe he over charges customers and then takes the money out of register and pockets it. I wonder how many customers has he done like this?????? I am a disable veteran and I believe in honest and integrity. This young man had neither!! After I told them that I was going to file a complaint with the corporate office, he called me a black b*tch. I walked away. Please get rid of this person!! He gives Home Depot a bad name!!!

Picking stuff up at the Home Depot store is easy. What is not so easy and is a TOTAL failure is when you need to interact with a customer care agent for a special order. Email and phone messages remain unanswered. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone. I have been trying to place an order for a replacement part for more than 4 months now…unfortunately, I cannot find it anywhere else. Anyway, lesson learned. Avoid Home Depot!

We bought a dishwasher a couple weeks ago and wanted it installed. They brought it out, said they did not have the right adapter to hook up the hot water. They suggested we go get the fitting and install it ourselves. My husband can’t do that. They suggested to hire a plumber to install it. Not happening. I called several times, left messages for someone to call me back. 2 days later, I finally get a call back. After a discussion, I told them to refund my money. I was told they could refund the installation but not the dishwasher because it was opened. The delivery guy opened the box before they brought it in the house. Now I am waiting for another call to find out if they will refund it. I will never shop there again and will tell everyone about this including Facebook.

Wish I had read these customers' reviews before spending ~$5,200 and trusting Home Depot delivery! I declined installations when purchasing all new appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave & dishwasher). However, my min expectation was the delivery would drop off new appliances in my kitchen. So I cleared the paths from the front door to my kitchen per Home Depot's online instructions. On the day of 12/07/2022 delivery, the contractors dropped off all of my appliances in the garage. I asked them several times why NOT taking them to my kitchen, which is ONLY ~30 ft. away from the garage on same 1st floor!!! They insisted they can NOT do that b/c of Home Depot dropped-off policies, bringing into kitchen requiring them more times measuring the boxes, steps, etc. Nonsense excuses! I literally paid them cash 10 mins prior to move my old refrigerator and oven from the kitchen to garage. Then they left!!! My family including my Dad who's 77 years old and my wife whose weight ~100 lbs had no choice but moving the new dishwasher and oven ourselves. But no way we wanna break our backs w the new ~310 lbs refrigerator. I called Home Depot customer service, explaining/complaining/asking Kevin who was exceptionally friendly/sympathetic. The outcomes: 1. Home Depot policies do NOT state dropping off appliances at curbside or garage 2. These bad contractors were late on their deliveries on that day. They lied and I was their unfortunate victim of bad plannings 3. Kevin talked to the delivery manager several times. They somewhat righted the wrong by re-scheduling new delivery (3 days after the nightmare as earliest and after several negotiations), bringing the new refrigerator from the garage to kitchen 4. The new crew did awesome job, they need more of these good folks Home Depot: I've been your loyal customer for 15 years. Really disappointing to put my family thru such bad delivery experience after such huge appliance order. I'll go to Costco instead next time
