We booked our airport transportation for 11:15am and normally it takes between 30-45 mins. When we called our driver at 11:09am to check if he was near, he said he would arrive around 11:49am!! I couldn’t believe it. We were to be at the airport to catch our flight by then! I emailed the company and they still charged me. I’ve now open a complaint and will see when they will refund my money. This company is completely unreliable. We had three children and an elderly grandmother with my husband and I with our luggage scrambling to get two Ubers! Thank god Uber exists!!

I am completely disgusted with the service/lack of service we received. On journey 1, our baggage was delayed coming off the plane; the driver kept ringing me even though I had explained that we were delayed and he was extremely rude. Both drivers were texting while driving, this is completely unacceptable and extremely unsafe. Journey 2: our transfers never arrived. We waited at the hotel as instructed in our documents but the driver/s never arrived. After 10 minutes I rang the emergency number to enquire where my transfer was; I was told by the man on the phone that he would ring the driver and the driver would be intouch with me. The driver never rang. I then rang again and was told the same thing. The driver never rang once again. After getting off the phone for the 3rd time with the emergency number, 30 minutes being late, the driver rang and said he would be another 10 minutes. I rang after 5 minutes and consistently after that and no-one answered the phone. This is also the same with the emergency number. After trying to ring both numbers for around 10 minutes, a car arrived. As I understand this car was sent by the person on the other end of the emergency number; this is unacceptable as the car that arrived was a 4 seater; there were 10 people which was stated on the booking. We had to avail of taxi for 6 people at the cost of €100- the taxi did not provide a receipt. We were very close to missing our flight. This is utterly unacceptable and completely disgraceful. I would advise everyone to stay away from this company.

Booked transfer from lanzarote airport to puerto del carmen. Waited 1 hr. Transfer did NOT turn up. Faced with 1hr wait in taxi queue. Shameful. Dont use Hoppa

If you are looking for a stress free start and end to your holiday, I would keep your money in your pocket until you arrive and use local cabs instead. I used Hoppa for a return trip in Tenerife, to and from the airport with my wife and two young children. The experience was pretty awful and costly. On arrival at the airport there was no-one in the arrivals hall to meet us as promised. I had to call Hoppa and was told I needed to meet a nemed person by a 'change booth' inside the airport. Eventually, I found someone who was completely overwhelmed with other disgruntled passengers only to be told there was no cab and that I should use a local service and claim the money back from Hoppa. Refusing to do this, and after a long delay, a cab finally arrived to take us to the hotel. Although booster seats are required by law and were paid for, none were available for us. If this wasn't bad enough, the return leg was even worse! No cab turned up and we had to order one from the hotel. The emergency number Hoppa provided for this situation did not work! Claims have been made for both trips, but it has been over a week now for the first one and there has been no feedback, so I am losing hope for an amicable resolution. I give one star only because it's not possible to select 0.

Do not book with this company - we arrived at Tenerife airport & there was no sign of our transport, we booked a private car. We telephoned and were referred to one of the offices at the airport where the transport office had a representative - he did not speak english so it was very difficult however with our booking confirmation he starting ringing their office. They were no apologies at all, just shruggs and we were eventually taken out to the roadside to wait - he was continuously phoning them and eventually after 55 minutes a very tatty mini bus turned up for us. We were not the only Hoppa customers there - another couple were in the same boat and had been waiting longer than us. No with absolutely no faith in this company we cancelled the return journey to the airport and asked Hoppa for a refund for the return. They have refused point blank - just given us a credit note (as if we would use them again!) & £14.00 of the outward journey which we did not request - we were eventually provided with the first journey albeit in a dirty minibus but we had to arrange our own transport back to the airport as we didn't trust them and this had to be paid for. I will never book with Hoppa again and Absolutely DO NOT recommend them

I wish I had read these reviews before!! I booked two sets of pick ups and drop offs for my holiday to Mexico based on my flight details. My arrival flight to Mexico City was delayed but the contact information wasn't a real number. Upon landing really late in a country where I can't speak the language, I was told he wasn't coming and to get a taxi! Airport drop off was ok. On my flight to Cancun I arrived late again and here I had to wait for over an hour standing up for my private transfer, only to have to share. I then nearly died of fear as the driver proceeded to drive at considerable speed in torrential rain, got lost finding the other passenger's hotel and arrived so late at my hotel they had stopped serving food. He also asked for a tip, which I obviously refused. The pick up was ok but he expected 8 people on a booking for 1. For months I have been trying to get my money back. Not only did they put my life in danger twice, they didn't provide the service agreed. Total con. DON'T BOOK. AVOID.

Hoppa emailed me to ask for additional location information for my booking. When I sent this they said they couldn't edit the info on their own system and asked mr to cancel and rebook, When I did this the website said they would refund the total minus 30%. I asked for a full refund as I wasn't happy with this and they refused stating it was my fault that I had entered information incorrectly and they couldn't be held accountable. Beyond frustrating. I've set PayPal & Barclaycard on them to resolve this as they now don't respond to my messages. Under no circumstances should anyone use this service and I hope they are shut down! Disgraceful.

HOPPA KEPT MY MONEY!!!DO NOT USE THEM!!! Booked for 2 people to a hotel in Spain for an upcoming holiday i paid excess to Hoppa in case of any problems with booking. My Hotel provider changed our Hotel to another as original Hotel is opening later now. Hoppa wouldn't let me amend original booking said i had to cancel and re-book this i stupidly did and paid another £10 deposit for transfer to the new hotel which is about 5 mins by road away from the Original. I applied last night for refund of £24.80 of original booking included pics of hotel change which was nothing to do with me (which i thought would be covered by my excess i paid to Hoppa) only to receive a swift e mail reply saying (your application has been declined and is now closed) short and sweet. Well i'd rather lose the £10 i paid to rebook to them than give this robbing company another penny, and will use another company for my transfers, especially after reading the reviews on here which i wish i had done before initial booking. I only get a state pension , but they obviously need the money more than me or any of us who have lost their cash. (didn't even offer credit points which i wouldn't accept anyway on principle as paid cash). I will now contact my bank to try and claw it back.

Appalling service from hoppa. Flight landed 19 minutes early at Prague, pick-up time was 19.15, the time the flight should have landed. Getting through passport control was a nightmare and took almost 1 hour. I tried to call using the emergency number (00420776599443) which did not connect, so could not notify anybody of our delay. Once in the arrivals hall, at 20.00 looked for the driver and had several drivers apprioach as they were obviously waiting on passengers, however no sign of our driver. Another driver approached us and asked if she could help. She rang the number and was told that the driver had left at 19.56, 1 hour after landing not 1 hour from the pick up time. I was left with no option but to get a taxi which cost £30. Then received a 'no-show' email followed by 'proof' by the driver, this showed a picture of his phone at 19.56, but his report stated that he left at 20.05, a blatant lie as we would have seen him. Hoppa refused to pay my out of pocket expenses, so I'm £30 out of pocket. I have used hoppa before but this is the third time they have let me down, will never use again. AVOID!!!!!

DONT USE HOPPA They said it was a 80 min journey from airport to my hotel, it was double that. And didn’t drop at my hotel, I had to walk on a busy road for about 15 min

Terrible company to use. Impossible to get any reply out of them, every contact is met with a vague auto-generated email. We had a journey booked to and from the airport. Return journey they were 35 minutes late, and I had to call numerous times to chase. Spoke to a rude woman who went out of her way to be unhelpful, coming up with excuse after excuse and would only tell me the taxi was a "few minutes away". To top it off, when we got to the airport the meter price was £27 as opposed to the £45 we'd paid hoppa (including the 10% "discount"!). In summary, terrible customer service, expensive, late and additional hassle - avoid at all cost!

Awful. Only one hour between each service in the evening when many flights arrive with pax wishing to use the hotels. Several friends going to another hotel ended up by taxi as their bus never arrived. We were the only two passengers on our bus but still had to endure calling at every hotel. Not good enough.

Booked and paid for a transfer which didn't turn up. Was told to get a taxi by their local rep and that they would give me a refund which they are now refusing to do - they will only give me credit which is not what I was told. My return transfer was 30 minutes late and after calling twice to chase, they sent a taxi not a bus as they'd clearly forgotten this journey too. Stressful end to the holiday as was worried about making the flight in time. Terrible service. Do not book with them.

We booked a transfer from Marmaris to dalaman airport on the 9th October. The form would not accept a booking without some flight details but all we wanted was to get to the airport and then go to a hotel for the night. We put in a flight to make the booking and received an e-ticket confirming a pickup at 14.00 which suited us fine. The driver apparently decided to call at 9.00 am instead of 14.00. Of course we were not waiting at that time and he never contacted us via phone or the hotel reception. So far, they refuse to refund our money and refer to p.3 of the e-ticket which asks us to check the time. We were happy with the time. What they should do is make it clear that the pick-up time they show refers to the flight departure time and not to the actual pick-up time. Incompetent organisation.
