Awful! Cancelled flights mean we can’t go on holiday anymore, REFUSING to refund. We don’t want £100 tied up in a transfer company!

Awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend this company. For two reasons. One they weren’t at the airport with a pick up sign as they had specified they would. The pick up was operated under a completely different business name to the one they supplied me which meant a real hassle trying to find out where to go when I arrived and felt really stressful. Secondly, after making the booking in the first place they told me the needed more information but their system couldn’t edit so I would need to cancel the booking I had just made (and had to pay for) and make a new one and pay for that one too. It has been nearly two months since I did this and I still haven’t received the monies outstanding for the refund due from the first booking.

FRAUD!!! I booked a ride and wanted to cancel. unfortunately the company disagrees even though there is a week to book. the reason must be e.g. a disease for which I have to provide evidence. it's pathetic how you treat your customers. nowadays, you can opt out of any service without giving any reason. and you don't want to give me my money back!

Just received a text message, addressed to me by my name, saying my transport was booked for 3rd July. I haven't booked anything, I'm not going anywhere, and would use a local company if I was, not one hundreds of miles away! I assumed it was a scam, googled the name, saw they DO exist, so tried to contact them - impossible. Just seen the reviews and they do indeed seem like a cowboy outfit - or worse. My assumption now is that they were hoping I would send some money. Steer clear!

We’ve used Hoppa many times before but in these Covid times, Hoppa are worse than useless. They emailed telling me I had to cancel and rebook because their supplier needed more detail on the address. I cancelled but then received an email telling me to claim a refund. The process was frustratingly complex and there’s literally no way to contact them - they no longer take phone calls and their online ticketing system just sends you an automated and unhelpful response. I’m now £196 out of pocket with no transfers. Booking with a company that literally has no customer support and won’t engage with you makes them no more than a scam. When their customer services try to push you towards their ticketing system, it doesn’t work properly - I’ve literally tried it dozens of times and it either just sends you a generic automated response that’s completely unhelpful or it refuses to allow you to submit it. I’ve been left with complaining to my card company and Trading Standards but will issue a summons if needed.

Absolutely appalling services. Car they sent was far too small, couldn't carry even the suitcases mentioned in the reservation. They left us at the airport either to pay another £130 extra for another car or nothing. Still waiting for a refund - customer service of Hoppa seems to be run by a troop that only can give the minicab companies the reason. Stay away from it - pay £15 more and take a Gatwick cab or a black cab.

We are suppliers for Hoppa UK in CYPRUS. We have not paid 6k € for completed transfers in 2020. Please never book with Hoppa because they still money from all suppliers and customers. They lost 80% from suppliers till now and if you book transfer will never be done.

Hoppa.com won't be returning our money because they're broke . I've read their company insolvency proposal to the courts. There's no way they can trade out of this one because they've shafted their loyal customers who won't trust them with another booking. #Thieves

Only got my money refunded (over £200) by doing a section 75 claim via my Mastercard provider. Even then they had the nerve to contest it, which meant a further delay, but justice won the day. So if you've paid by credit card over £100, & have had no response from these sneaky, disreputable cowboys, do a Section 75 claim & knock the smirk off their faces.

Before you book a trip to Hoppa - read the comments and feedback about them! We have still not received payment for the completed transfers in January, February and March 2020 from Hoppa. Total 10k. Please do not use this rogue company, Hoppa. We will now keep you informed of progress each day until they start paying

Firstly, I only gave this company 1 star because there was no option for zero! They let us down with our airport transport, did not even contact us, just did not turn up! Ended up having to book transfers from elsewhere at last minute (costing £450). Have been trying since August to retrieve money back from Hoppa. Ended up making a court claim for money owed, cost me £35. Have now received full payment back, plus the court fees. Please, if you have the same problem with this company, consider going to the government website to make a claim for your refund and expenses.

Similar experiences as others on this site. I was assured a refund in the form of credits after cancellation of an airport transfer due to coronavirus. 11 months later, and after many email exchanges, I still have not received credits. Their online complaints form does not work - you have to fill in lots of details, then when you click SUBMIT it says you have to Validate your form - so no way of getting a response to the complaint. Also, on a previous occasion, my taxi, booked via Hoppa, didn't turn up. I don't understand how this company can still be operating.

Waiting for a refund do not want a credit note. Transfer cancelled by them 5months before holiday!! and expect me to take a credit note. Still waiting, do not use Resort hopper

Booked a transfer from Rhodes Airport in September 2020, there was no transfer waiting and had to pay extra for a taxi Made a complaint, but there was no belief they handled the complaint seriously, and believed everything their local supplier said Avoid at all costs, use Gettransfer, they are a dependable company, never let me down

We booked with Hoppa for our holiday in October, and two weeks before we were due to go, they emailed us saying they were not able to drop us to our accomodation. We tried contacting them by phone but no-one answered the phone. I sent an email and they confirmed they were unable to drop us at our accomodation. I explained I would need the money back I paid as they were no longer providing a service I paid for and that I would need the money to pay for another shuttle. They refused to give us a refund, and instead said they could give us credits which were no use to us as we were due to fly in two weeks. They then suggested that they would drop us to a hotel near our location which was a two minute walk, I explained my partner had reduced mobility as he had knee surgery and cannot walk for long periods of time. They still would not give us a refund. We were at a loss and it being so close to our holiday, we decided to go with the drop off near our villa, as we had no other choice. Hoppa ensured us there would be appropriate social distancing. However, when we got to Lanzarote and found the shuttle it was a small shuttle with 12 out of 12 seats taken. My partner said to the driver that there was a lot of people on the shuttle, the driver only shrugged his shoulders. There was absolutely NO social distancing at all, passengers were so so close together (see photos) and my partner ended up having to sit closely next to a stranger, basically brushing arms. Absolutely disgusting service from Hoppa in the first place for not giving us the service we paid for, but then also not being able to provide us with the appropriate refund either. Then to add to it no social distancing was being enforced either!! We will never use this company again!!!!!

HOPPA Credits are useless. All their vendors have stop taking their booking orders. HOPPA have not been paying their vendors. AVOID AT ALL COST!!
