I'm still waiting for refund of £125 since July. The service I have had to resolve this matter has been appalling. I wish I never bought anything from HOF as they simply have no understanding of customer service.

Never Ever order online from house of Fraser!!!!! They charge £5 to collect in store which is ridiculous. It takes ages to arrive and then any returns should be sent by post back to store using your own money even the parcel is infact in the house of fraiser store it self... customer service is absurd, rude and impolite! Disgusting! No way of tracking your order or any follow up emails!

Today I tried to exchange a pillow case at Skipton Rackhams, as I bought square instead of rectangle .The packaging was unopened but I didnt have a receipt. Even a copy of my bank statement on my phone showing that the purchase was was bonfide was insufficient. I could only have an exchange by showing a paper copy. I live 30 miles away from the store so this is not suitable. I cant get in touch with the office by phone as I was told the phones are unmanned. It hasnt put me off using the high street instead of the internet, but it has put me off using Rackhams.

Service has deteriorated badly. £4.99 delivery charge is excessive and they are slow to despatch. Their rewards scheme is not being honoured which is very poor. I used to be a very loyal and regular shopper with HiF, choosing them because of their recognition rewards scheme, but I shop at John Lewis now instead. I understand that the high st is struggling, but come in HoF you really are not helping yourselves by treating your loyal customers badly and ripping them off on postage costs

I’ve been trying to get an update on my order from customer services. There is no phone number, and only a “webchat” service which is impossible to access, as the pop up window disappears when you try to use it. Shocking. Will not order from them again.

I bought two matching ceramic homewares as part of a set in early December online from the House of Fraser. They arrived in a plastic bag. One of the items was in a box and seemed undamaged ( I didn't open the security packaging). The other item, a platter, was not in a box. Rather it was wrapped in bubble wrap. I could see that it was badly smashed through the wrap. I tried to contact HofF through several means until yesterday. I received generic replies from them, which were not relevant and of no help. It was impossible to call anyone at the HofF. I then tried to contact them through the MSE service, Resolver. I received the same generic replies. Yesterday, I decided to take the products back to the Victoria (London) branch. There were three people on the customer service desk on the second floor. Dealing with them was really unpleasant. After explaining what had happened and despite the platter being obviously smashed and the security tape still intact, they questioned me as to whether it had arrived intact. The first person passed the matter onto a colleague. They were clueless as to my rights. I was due a full refund on the damaged goods as well as the intact goods. They then told me that I could have a refund on the damaged goods and a gift card for the undamaged goods. I argued that as I had bought them as a set, I should get a refund on the two items. I told them that I had had to buy another item (from another store). They refused and pointed me to the invoice that states that if you return in store, you are entitled to a refund to a gift card. They said that in order to get a full refund, I had to return them through the post (at my expense). I said that neither scenarios applied as the items were damaged. They refused to listen to me and kept on offering the gift card option. I thought that they were offering a refund on the damaged item and a gift card option on the undamaged item. I finally agreed to this as I was getting so frustrated by them. The final insult came when they gave me the gift card for the two items. I took the gift card and told them that would never shop with HofF again. They did not seem to care. I was so incensed by this and want to warn everyone not to shop at this place again. Before Mike Astley got a stake in this shop, I was a loyal customer. Never again.

I have ordered two items and only received one! I emailed customer service the same day I received the package and 10 days later still haven’t received a reply (with the exception of an automatic reply). Terrible customer service! I would have expected much more from a retailer like House of Fraser. I am still expecting an answer.

I have ordered online on 12th of December but no delivery show up. In the mean time I ordered again with a delivery time set for tomorrow. I’m very sure I will not get a thing again. Just like the other people fooled by this company, I cant make contact with hof at all to enquire about my stolen money.Because at the end of the day that’s what it is. Money taken out of my account but no goods delivers whatsoever. Very but very disappointed. I wish they fade away somewhere in space and not being able to mess with people’s nerves and time never again. 👎👎👎👎👎

I have put in a large order. More than one of same for choice of size. Payed postage for all items I payed by credit card. Have to return items. Now being told I can only get money refunded. By gift card!!!!! Or I have to pay to postage by recorded delivery. I have been a very good customer. Never will I shop in this store again. This new take over will not do well. I run my own business and intend to tell clients. Of my dreadful experience

No confirmation of order, no sign of a luxury scarf, designer T shirt and two higher end makeup items. Disgusting. When I die, I will be leaving instructions for my ashes to be deposited directly in Mike Ashley's eyes. CROOK!

Ordered a Christmas gift for my husband on the 18th December , I was aware it would arrive just after Christmas. I received a email saying the item was out of stock on the 29th December, how could this possibly happen ?how could it take 11 days to inform me a item is out of stock, when the item should have been posted and delivered by this time , no apology, just a automatic email. There are lots of good shops out there ,offering excellent service , this is not one of them, I will not be buying from them again.

Absolute thieves, bought a 300 Pound suit online, couldn't return to store, paid to deliver it back via secure courier. No Customer service phone, No web chat that pops up, No email address to contact, No help from buy and collect area at local store, NO REFUND 30 Days later and NO CORRESPONDENCE from anyone. Absolutely appalling, someone should do something about this. You can't just go robbing people. I've been buying from HOF since my prom suit over 15 years ago. NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered clothes on line as nearest store is over 100 miles away. Didn't know I had to pay postage but thought , this is the last time as they never used to. So a one off, £4.99. Got the parcel, no returns label, no invoice. Items did not fit. No printer to print out label so asked but no one to speak to. Thinking one would not come to me, I drove to store and instore was told they now do not take reurns to refund money. Over £170 between the 2 items. Only exchanges instore but didn't want to throw money away on what i didn't want. Came home and finally got return label only to find out I had to pay to return too !!! Took parcel to P.O. and was told to send safely to insure it it would cost £8 to send to them. Unbelievable. I hope this store rots. People wise up. We're just pawns to line their greedy pockets. Abominable way to treat the public. Invoice number 47707879
