Having been an customer for decades I was particularly surprised to find out that returns are now at the cost of the customer, for me this was £33. When I queried it I was told it was a policy change and I should have checked the t's and c's before ordering. Given that we are in the middle of a pandemic, the only way to shop is online and we have no option than to return via the postal service - very poor form by House of Fraser and I have closed my account as a result and will not buy from them, either online or in person, again.

Absolutely disgusting service. Ordered 6 items which arrived fine. unfortunately the belt was too small and the top had a hole in.Returned both for an exchange, had confirmation email that they had received items and were processing exchange. The next day had another email that the belt was out of stock and I would receive a refund instead. The replacement top arrived but nearly 2 months later have still not received refund for £80 belt.Numerous emails have been ignored. email 2 weeks ago asking for postage proof That I had returned items to which I replied with a screenshot of their confirmation email of receiving and processing returned items, now being ignored again and am about to open a dispute with my bank

Made an order from House of Fraser towards the beginning of the lock down after ascertaining that returns would be accepted for 14 days after stores reopened for a full refund. When I received my order, which actually came quite promptly, I decided to send some items back. Stores reopened last week and I tried to return my items. I was shocked to be told that online items can only be returned for a credit note! Highly displeased with this hidden clause which catches buyers unaware. Will not be buying again once I have used my credit note.

Well I cant really blame the house of frasier had such but I ordered something on the 28th of may for my sons birthday..his birthday has now been and gone and its over 3 weeks later and I'm still no wiser to where the parcel is....it is with Hermes and its Impossible to get in touch with them

Still owe me £70 from 27th April, sales are only good if you recieve your items and if not least that can happen is refund the money but after loads and loads of emails sent I’ve had no reply, all numbers on internet don’t go through and when shop finally opens they tell you do contact via email, will some how get my money back one day but will never use again, I remember when house if Fraser was a decent shop, beware people before spending your hard earned money here, stay away people I will be from now on, disgraceful company

Retired faulty item online it says they refund for postage if item is faulty but only received refund for item no refund for postage cost Email twice received automated email back thieves no one got back to me

I have been sending constant emails regarding my order that I have received there were missing items and the packaging to the items received were in poor torn condition I have been trying to get in touch but there is no answers never trust ordering from house of Fraser again. Has anyone got any idea as to how I can get in touch straight through the head office via phone call I have used a company that can help but I was wondering does anyone know please? TIA

hello I have ordered 29/05/2020 and I have been charged extra for one day delivery unfortunately I have not received and items has not been delivered and not showing any updates online . So sad and today is 10/06/2020 . Also it’s impossible to send email or call them there is no numbers :(

I have placed on order 3rd May and have not received until now, and today is 8th June 2020. I have tried to contact them by phone, email so many times and no luck. I received a courtesy email that they are dealing with my query and will come back within 10 days. I haven't heard from the since. This is my worst shopping experience ever and definitely will not shop with them again.

how have House of Fraser been allowed to carry supplying items via the internet yet they have NO Contact Number and DONT answer emails when things go wrong this company should be shut down

Awful Customer Service 😕 I ordered a camping table, nothing arrived. I repeatedly asked for another table or a refund but Customer Service just ignored my request. I advise anyone to avoid this retailer and NOT to be fooled into thinking that the House of Fraser is the same reputable company that it used to be. It is now a tin pot company of the same elk as Sports Direct with awful Customer Service. AVOID at all costs!!!

Ordered items for £3000 some of them returned. Waiting for a refund for £1700 for more than 20 days! Sending messages no reply. No phone for customer services. This must be improved! No reply for emails or contact form (contact form doesn't work properly)

DO NOT USE! Ordered 2 bikes. Both arrived with price tags on for significantly less than I pay. One of was the wrong bike and damaged. The other the right bike but the wrong instructions inside made it very difficult to build. Emailed 3 times over 32 days- no reply. Sent a message via FB messenger- no reply. Significant money spent and one upset little who (who can't ride the wrong faulty bike!).

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY It has been the worst experience i have had with any retailer i have used during the covid lockdown. There is no excuse for the way they are treating their customers. All reputable retailers including smaller businesses are having difficulty operating just now. Most importantly customers are able to still contact some kind of customer service department to help with problems they may be having. It is scandalous they way House of Fraser is operating.

I placed an order on 24th March for a table tennis table. Not cheap at £400. It was for my son's birthday....in May. I only ordered from House of Fraser because the website said it was in stock. Bar the email stating my order had been received nothing more.... After two weeks I tried to contact you but no phone line just a contact form with auto replies using, quite frankly, Covid-19 as an excuse. After about the third contact form being sent I finally got an email saying my order had been processed. That was on the 17th of April. But what does processed mean? No estimate whatsoever of delivery date. Further forms sent. Finally some info on 23rd April stating I'd get tracking numbers. I never did. I did get a text from SD.com. Who? Then i realised Sports Direct. No wonder I'd had such bad customer service. The table finally arrived on 25th April.... but another surprise was in store.... despite being a metal table tennis table it was broken. Opening the box I found that the table was not just dented but part of the frame had been completely ripped off. I've sent you pictures two weeks ago but apparently you're busy. It's so big I can't even take it to the tip. So more (non!)contact forms only automated replies and my son's birthday came and went. Mmmm really easy to get a present at short notice with all the shops closed. My son truly thanks you. For clarity: Covid-19 can only be used as an excuse for so much. This is just disgraceful customer service. Continually using Covid-19 as an excuse is disrespectful to those who have suffered from the virus. I used to respect House of Fraser and viewed it as a reputable company with good customer service. No more. With customer service like this you WILL go out of business. An absolute shambolic display of customer service. I realise we are mid-pandemic, but their complete lack of CS is astounding. We bought a pair of trainers, which is no longer advertised, and enquired about possible returns. This was at the start of May, and still no reply. Shocking.

The worst experience ever...I have returned an order since 02.05.2020 which costed me £186.99 and at the end I still haven't got any confirmation about that. I have tried to contact them regarding this however it's impossible to talk to anyone. Don't order from that company unless you want to stress your self.

i wish i had read all the reviews before ordering from HOF as out of a £250.00 order i have only received 3 x items shocking customer service the worst i have ever encountered as you cannot speak with anyone, its now like a pound land version of Debenhams, i always thought HOF was posh but not anymore just scammy
