Ikea delivers product with missing pieces. They should take care in reviewing what is being assembled before delivery. Ikea after sales services is also not helpful. They make promises for delivery and assembly appointments and cancel them without telling the customer. I will never use the delivery or assembly services again.

We visited the Sunrise store twice to buy a bed . Horrible customer service and horrible delivery experience. When we received the bed the headboard and some other parts were broken. Calling customer services is even worse. You will be on hold for 45 minuets and no help. We wanted to buy a matching night stand, we were asked to check the website Which we did and drove an hour and a half each way after making sure they had 40 pieces Available but when we got there, there were none. We were asked to call before going At the same time you can’t call the store. I would rather pay more but not to go there again.

Rubbish deliver service. Its a long story. I ordered a kitchen from Ikea lakeside. The lady in store was really nice. I was happy for about 5 seconds before the $h1t hit the fan. I told the lady in store I need delivery to 2nd floor and there is no lift. She said fine no problem. On the delivery day I had my builders there ripping out the old kitchen and the delivery man rang the buzzer but when he relised there is no lift he refused to deliver. Aparrently they aren't insured to carry stuff up the stairs. So I called the store to complain, next day delivery van comes and same thing, sorry love I'm not insured to cary up the stairs. What a joke. I call again to complain and again the delivery is sent out but this time the deliver only half. I have to call to complain and the same van is back with the rest of the kitchen. Finally i can breath easy....not! I get a call saying one part was left behind but they cant deliver until the next week. Finally they deliver and i have a complete kitchen but now the hinges have no screws or plugs. I call and complain. The agree to swap them on Monday. Monday comes and goes and no delivery. I call to complain and they say we are not delivering. The hinges dont come with screws. They didnt call me to explain or leave a voicemail, just left me waiting. Btw the screwless hinges meant to make it easy to remove a door for cleaning but not much use if the door falls off each time you open the cupboard. I explained this over the phone and in store. We swapped those stupid hinges twice and on the 3rd visit I had enough and just changed to the 110°hinges with screws which actually stay on because they have screws and plugs. The whole process has been stressful, upsetting and expensive. I wish I never went to that store. I really regret my choice and I will never go there again for a kitchen of bathroom. This is the short version of the story. Ikea have yet to apologise or offer any kind of compensation. Please please please avioid like the plague.

Ist visit to the Sheffield store today it was not a good experience. What should have been a simple matter turned out to be a nightmare, got to checkout with the item, girl told us she couldn't process the item as it was unlisted, told her there were hundreds on sale, supervisor arrived and cant sort it out. Team leader arrives after half an hour and says theres been a glitch and he was hoping to sort it shortly. At this point in frustration I leave it there and walk out. Very poor organization indeed !!

I purchased an item from IKEA and was told by three different cashiers that it was in stock. Only to be told 2 days later that the made an error and not only was the item not in stock, but that it had been discontinued months earlier and no one decided to take the unit off display. And to top it off, they’re ‘attempting’ to issue a refund.

In theory, Ikea is a great store, if you have a high tolerance for frustration, the patience of Job, and don't mind getting shafted. I bought a beautiful and expensive turkish hemp flat woven rug, was told 'oh, you can find someone in the parking lot to carry it out for you'. Not. But on getting it home, determined it was a) too big and b) too blue. I immediately called customer service to try to initiate return by shipping (coz i live 4-5 hours from store), and was told, 'sorry, you'll have to talk to the store'. But you can't get through to the store. So I bravely paid $150 for return shipping on what was very heavy rug, included copies of receipt and requested refund through my credit card. When I had not received refund 2 weeks later, I called again and was told, 'oh, you have to call to initiate a case, that's why you didn't get refund'. Right. So, case was initiated and I waited another 2 weeks, called again. On hold for 30 minutes, and was then told, 'oh, store does not take unplanned returns, so they've issued a store credit'. WHAAAT?!!! So now, another case number, and another long wait to learn whether they'll grant refund to credit card. Sorry, ikea, you fail.

Ikea customer service would not deserve even half a star but I had to select one star as there is no worst option to select. Our products were delivered damaged. Two days later, replacement products were delivered, also damaged. Each time we had to waste our time waiting at home for the delivery. We were asked to wait another 2 days for another delivery with no assurance that the replacement products won't be damaged. We suggested that we would come to the store , inspect the products, hire a van and take them home ourselves and wanted Ikea to reimburse us for our cost. The customer service manager that we spoke to refused to accept our suggestion. Our only option was to keep waiting for Ikea to deliver the goods and pray that they are not damaged, and if they are, well just keep waiting because no one from Ikea has authority to approve customer reimbursement. Really?

We are totally disappointed, we are not coming back anymore,!!!!!! my wife purchased some Xmas lights set yesterday October 17, by the time we arrived to home, she realised it is missing the unique wires to be connected, we were to returned it today, but the clerk after talked to her supervisor refused to accept the return, said that even though the wires is missed, the set was on sale therefore it was a final sale, we said the item is useless with out the wires, but she did net understand and refuse gave us our money back.

Upon purchasing almost $5,000 worth of closets, the installers came without the order form and installed the wrong shelving. My call to IKEA customer service was a nightmare. Nobody answers. They keep advertising to you and tell you how customers are important to them and ask to be patient. I finally dropped the call after waiting for 30 minutes. I am not even sure I was connected to a system that would respond if I has waited. Terrible. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. This is my last purchase from you !!

Worst customer service before and after. Poor item labeling for parts that were needed. Left and didn't have all the items that were needed. We live over 6 hours away so it wasn't as if were able to quickly return to grab what was needed. Expensive shipping costs to purchase the item we needed online.

Assistance in store by salespeople was 10. And that's where it stopped. I spent$ 400.00 to have a closet (s) assembled. Scheduled for 19 Oct 2017. No show Received a call saying they would be late at 1300. At 1500 another call still later. 1700. They call stated they would be there by 1930. Unacceptable. Reschedule for Monday no show. Reschedule for Wed no show no call. No contact what so ever. Call the IKEA laberyth and after doing the big box store phone shuffle. I talked to a sub-magager. Who as with all the others said he would "look" into it. This is not satisfactory. It so far has cost 3 days of my time a value of more than $600.00 This is beyond by far THE WORST service I have ever run across. My recommendation is for people to shop else where. In the future. I know I will.
