Worst service ever. Order was written wrong by your employees. After waiting to check out I had to return to the department that made the mistake. They have to correct it and you have to get back in line and wait again. The worst part is waiting for your item to be picked. Part of my order was picked wrong, but did not realize until we were home. Came back for another wall unit and doors were backordered which means another trip. Plan on wasting your day there. 30 to 40 minutes and probably more on weekends waiting for you order to be picked. Not my kind of shopping. SERVICE SUCKS

Ikea is the worse store /places to make a return when you purchasing on line. I bought items which returned with receipt and order # on it. I've been received a store credit card instead return to the method I paid, my credit card. It makes very inconvenient since I lived far away from the store and I've lost $17 on shipping alone that I would not likely to try online shopping again. Ikea is the only store I had a problem with the return. It didn't do the way they print on the policy. Now the money sits on IKEA card which means they hold it.

Abbreviated story: kitchen counter flawed, exchange arranged. Ikea staff fabricated delivery date, all my arrangements for new install had to be rebooked. Ikea said they wanted original counter back so i had to pay to remove it and then trucking company had no instructions to take away. I had to write to Ikea telling them how to get it picked up from my island home. Second counter has same flaws as first, seams not sealed lets water in. It has been over two months of the most dismal customer after service I've ever experienced. Terrible training of staff, many times young men bordering on rude on phone and knowledge of how to deal with difficulties absent. I've finally surrendered, they clearly have no commitment to excellence and even less to making amends for this difficult and needlessly drawn out situation. Considering two of the same counter were flawed there is clearly a quality control issue with this product yet they continue to offer it for sale. They continue to say someone will call, two months later still no contact through phone.

I called several times different days for getting a desk for my daughter in law for Christmas...they all told me different things and different dates when to use click and collect for a friend of mine to pick it up for me in columbus..it was going to cost me 200 dollars for delivery to go from ohio to ohio..believe that...smh..Finally that day came for me to order the desk online and the website didnt work correctly..so I called them again...they apologized and told me that was the only way I could order the desk to have it picked up by a friend..I asked her what to do and she apologized again..cuz that was the only way...smh..Finally the website worked..and they were out of stock..Never, ever, ever will I purchase anything from them...It should not cost that much for delivery or should a person go through so much grief to get a desk!!!

your muren reclining armchair is of very poor quality i advice any potential buyers to stay away from this chair as my chairs steel frame snapped after only 2 years paid £250 +£50 delivery so not a cheap chair thought i would have had longer useage out of it for that money

I chose "click and collect" for 2 wardrobes and had a friend drive all the way to Atlanta to pick up. The website said it was available for pickup but after a 2 and half hour trip, the store didn't have the items. I lost money because of this. Don't use "click and collect" on the website and expect that if the website says it's available, that it truly will be.

Item arrived damaged. This order was mishandled by IKEA for weeks. First the item was rescheduled for delivery but IKEA neglected to inform Select Express, their delivery service. IKEA even confirmed the delivery via an email notice to me. So the item never arrived. I waited all day for it. I had to call Select Express and reschedule the item. IKEA Promised to refund me the delivery charge and issue me a gift certificate. That also never arrived. Finally the item arrived and it was severely damaged. The men unloading the item saw the damage and took it right back to return. IKEA has horrible, horrible customer service. You can call all day and get a "We are experiencing higher than normal call volume." But then there is no waiting. No call backs. The message just apologizes and disconnects you. The online forms are horrible. They ask for case number and other weird info before allowing you to submit a return form. How do I get a case number? Oh, you have to call customer service. No matter how bad a job IKEA does, there is simply no way to access their customer service. Absolutely horrible company.

Wrote poor review for bookcases. IKEA came to pick up product on November 19th. No resolution to the issue. Went into store Thursday and was told that someone would call the same day from insurance firm. Never called. Really poor process.

Poor customer service and delivery. I ordered on line. Their email indicates; fedex delivery, we will provide a tracking # and fedex will contact you, nothing like that ever happened. FedEx left my parcel outside the door, did not get tracking # .

I ordered a mirror in which the first one came broken upon delivery. Custom carrier said they would put in an order for a second mirror, and after waiting weeks for it to come in, and having to make sure I was home all day to be there when the mirror came, I found out that it was broken and they said they would order a 3rd mirror. I finally called and just canceled my order but it’s been over 2 months now since I have received my refund. I called ikea and the phone rep stated that she would put me on an expietated list to get my refund sooner. It has now been over a month that I haven’t received my refund. This is taking way to long and don’t understand why it is taking so long to get my money back?

I have an order placed with Ikead with order no - 316716698 Which is schedule to deliver on 30th Nov but time window is not confirmed by Ikea. I live in Condo where my condo management have some specific time window to book service elevators. I have got only the time window of 3-6 pm on 30th NOV for move in , If Ikea not able to deliver in that time frame then my condo management will not allow. I talked to Ikea customer care they says in that case your order will return and i need to pay again 100 CAD for second attempt. Ikeas saya only before 24 hrs they can assure me the timing. How it is possible to book my service elevator just 24 hrs before as may other families move in and booked the other time window in advance?? i had a bad after sell service experience , if you are selling something and taking money for delivery then its your responsibility to deliver as per customer convenience and timing not as per your logistic convenience. ikea and logistic company seems to be not in sync. I called ikea help desk they gave me logistic hel desk no and then logictic was not sure about my order.

I spent over 10 hours over the past 2 days plus 4 multi hour phone conversations with IKEA trying to place an online order. This was a straight forward order for a tv wall unit. I will never, ever order from IKEA again. Their computer system is full of glitches. For example I added 2 drawer fronts to my cart but when I clicked on my cart it showed 13 drawer fronts. Everytime I went back and forth from the product to my cart their system messed up the quantities. Online one of the four staff I spoke with were helpful; two staff seemed to have no idea how the online system worked. Horrible experience. Never again.

Whatever you do don't order small parcels from Ikea. Large parcels are delivered by Ikea and the service is excellent. Any small parcels go via Parcelforce and their service is shocking. If you can't take the delivery at home as many people cant due to being at work then every other option has additional costs. I am now having to pay £12 for a Saturday delivery because I cant even pick the £1 option of delivering to a local post office as my parcel is too large. My order didn't even cost that much. Not worth the hassle and inconvenience at all. I wont even get into the fact that they tried to deliver 4 times after I had tried to arrange an alternative delivery. Waste of space.

I spent over an hour and a half on the phone with a woman from customer service who was pathetically under skilled and had no knowledge of products or how the website worked. It was like speaking to an 8 year old. She kept repeating incorrect information and interrupting. I ended up hanging up without ordering anything. This would have been a big order as it was a large entertainment unit. I don't understand why a successful company like IKEA can't spend some decent money on employee training.

BEWARE. I've updated 3 kitchens with Ikea in the past, all went well. This time I had a terrible experience. They saddled me with a contractor called Eldridge and a designer from Traemond. The project is months overdue. Again, I've done this before and have realistic expectations. The project manager never visited my home and didn't manage the sub-contractors aside from scheduling. We had to supervise. In spite of that, I'm left with a pantry that I can't open because the door's too close to the wall and a corner cabinet that only opens part way because the sink is in the way. Why did we have a designer at all? We sent Eldridge a punch list and they finally sent someone out to evaluate. Then we heard nothing for 3 weeks. They left holes in the wall that delayed painting adjacent rooms and I can't put my house back together. Ikea cabinets are good and hold up over time, but Ikea needs to vet their contractors.

My husband ordered me a two drawer nightstand. He clicked on the color he wanted to order and placed the order. As soon as he received the email confirmation, the color ordered was not what we wanted. He spent over an hour on hold for customer service to correct the order and never got into anyone at customer service. They open at 6am, my husband was on the phone at 6:01a, got a customer service rep, and they said, they couldn't stop the order, it was his fault. Just because you change the color doesn't mean that is the color you are ordering. Who has a website like that, NO ONE! They said when you get it, call and we'll give you instructions to send it back, then you can order a new one. If I could find the same item somewhere else, I would not reorder it from them. I won't ever order ANYTHING from IKEA again! I see all the bad reviews, so I suspect they don't much care either what their customers think!
