I have purchased a number of linen products from I Love Linen I’m afraid I will not purchase any more linen because within 2 years my $190 linen king size fitted sheet has worn through. I have many more sets , so it has had constant use ? Also I follow all the care instructions. I’ve been offered at %30 off my next item but that must be on a full price item not on sale ? What a joke 🙁

I love your products, the quality is there and I have been enjoying your bedsheets selection since 2016 - That's why my last order experience with I Love Linen was so disappointing. I ordered an entirely new bed set in the Ochre (which we love) I also ordered some new White King Pillow Cases and a new Warm Grey Fitted Sheet (to go with our existing sets). I was told that the white pillowcases were currently out of stock but I could have the remaining items shipped. Only the ochre bed set arrived. I've now been informed a month after my original order that the Warm Grey Fitted Sheet has been discontinued - I was given an option to pick another item or request a refund. I saw on your website that there were still 50cm versions of the fitted sheets available (my order was for the 40cm) - I requested the 50cm Version for the sheet but was told it would cost an extra $30 with no discount, even though there has been a delay on these items. I've now requested a full refund on all the remaining items (which for some reason will take another 10 days) I'm very disappointed that you have discontinued the warm grey fitted sheet range and that you couldn't offer any kind of discount considering the time and inconvenience caused. I was a very happy customer up until this order and I don't think I will be using I love linen again.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with your fitted sheet being oversold and the delay caused in notifying you of this issue. I can completely understand your frustrations with this and also being advised the Warm Grey colorway has been discontinued. Our team offered a replacement fitted sheet in the 40cm in another available color and advised a larger depth would cause sizing issues due to your previous order history of King 40cm sheets. I can see we actioned your request to cancel and refund this order which our accounts team was advised to do so immediately. We do like to note that while we process this straight away it can take up to 10 business days to process back onto your account. These days you expect a business to not only have a great product but also to provide a great service. I love linen might have good products (I can’t tell anything about their quality as I am waiting for my parcel to arrive and it’s been forever) but provide minimal to zero customer service. Too lazy to investigate the delayed status with Australia Post and ask their customers to do so instead. I understand that you are small family business - that just means you have to try harder in serving your customers. 1 star for a terrible service and won’t be back even though the products are great.

Hi Aleksandra, Sorry to hear about your recent experience, we do apologize for your frustrations concerning this matter and do understand how the process of dealing with Australia Post can appear to not be very customer-focused. Your order was shipped by us 3 business days after you placed the order with your selected Standard shipping which Australia Post says can take between 2 and 8 business days. We can only track it in the same way you can, as you saw, with the link we sent through, Australia Post had indicated it was delayed at their end and if it hasn't arrived by Monday 23 May to get in contact with them so they could investigate. As soon as this extends beyond the allotted time a case can be lodged and then as mentioned once you have authorized us on the case we will gladly pursue this further and work with you for a resolution. Again we do apologize that this process can be difficult and the delay frustrating, as your order was placed with us at I Love Linen it does reflect poorly on us and not the carrier which we accept. I love linen has ripped me off - buy your sheets elsewhere. After purchasing a sheet set I Love Linen sent me the wrong product. They refuse to correct the mistake and send me the product I purchased - apparently because I’ve opened what they sent me. Absurd! I’ve been battling with their customer service about this for days and they’ve been dismissive and unwilling to correct their mistake. My experience of I Love Linen is a scam - buy something, get something completely different. So disappointed, all prior experiences with them have been fine.

Hi Tom, Our sincerest apologies on what has happened here and I completely understand your position and frustration with the situation. We sent you the wrong item and that is something we absolutely should not have done and normal process is we would of course issue a free return to get that back to us and ship you the correct order ASAP. The issue that crept in was the fact that you opened and used the item that was incorrectly shipped to you, which again, I understand why as you needed bedding urgently for the weekend but this did add some confusion to the process with another approach being taken. At the end of the day, we take ownership for the issue of sending a wrong item and will make sure that at no charge to you we will get that sorted immediately. As you did say this is not a common scenario for us and your previous experience with our brand has been good so we are sorry and disappointed that our mistake has led to this situation. I hope this provides a little clarity to what has gone on and while it is not an excuse for what happened, I did feel it important to provide some explanation. Kind regards David General Manager

I purchased a sheet, which was not the right colour for the room, followed the return policy and ended having it returned to me, they claimed I had wash it! What an absolute joke. Obviously I did not wash the sheet. It remained in a box until I sent it back, there’s no way it could of been washed or dirty for that matter. Pretty lousy way to treat a customer. So now I have to pay another postage fee to send the sheet back for the second time….. Very disappointing. I’d say poor customer service.

I am still waiting on an order placed on Jan 6. And for the order placed on December 31, was told a week later that the item I wanted was out of stock so I now have an incomplete set as that line went on sale and the alternative options also sold out. The products are great, but I’m very disappointed with recent customer service and communication.

I purchased the standard Queen sheet set in clay and I am really disappointed. I ordered the right size for my mattress (30cm deep fitted sheet) and it is way too loose and bunches up in the middle of the night. The sheets aren't as cool and comfortable for summer as I had imagined, especially considering all of the 5 star reviews. I have purchased my doona cover from here and love it, but the sheet sets are not comfortable or feel nice at all. Think carefully before purchasing as they are very expensive and cannot be returned. I'd rather spend $300 on good cotton ones

I ordered a lilac & sage set in November 2020 (not even 2 years old) and my sheet now has a massive whole in it and the fabric has many other wholes starting to form and rip. Very disappointing. I definitely expected better quality considering the price.

I found that the bed set was not up to what was advertised, colour was different from what was stated, and no satisfactory resolution, very dismissive, obviously you believe in your product and that's it

Admittedly, my quilt cover is two years old now, however two of the ties have detached. When I wrote to the company, I was told 'it can happen from time to time' and was offered a 20% discount on another purchase which I do not feel was adequate. I was hoping at least for some thread so I can attempt to fix the issue.

I find the quality of the linen to not be as good as other brands. It does not last as long. My sheets have worn through and the ties have all fallen off my duvet cover.

Thank you Marcus for the honest review. Our manufacturing standards & procedures have always remained the same and we independently test our linen to ensure the quality does not change. We have, however, introduced new depth variations for our Fitted Sheets (30cm, 40cm & 50cm) & you may find the depth you have selected is not the best match for your mattress. Really unhappy with my purchase. Bought the fitted sheet and pillowcases in Sage, and the quilt cover and pillowcases in Sandalwood. I like the Sage, but the Sandalwood is much darker than the photos. They don't fit well, I have a standard king (Australia), and they are thin and flimsy. I don't like the tie ends on the quilt cover. Overall, very disappointed and annoyed that I spent so much money on something I'll probably not use.

Hi Cass, while I understand the tie features are not what you were looking for, our product page does make it very clear our Duvet Covers come with this feature. We choose to use ties rather than buttons as our customers prefer the ease of use & sweet design details. I really am sorry this was not for you. What went wrong? I Love Linen team declares the shipment with the full amount before the discount. I asked them to correct it with DHL so they can calculate the fair amount of custom and duty fee. That way I can pay the duty and custom fee based on what I really paid for. However, the team only acknowledge that the custom and duty fee is not their responsibility, it's customer's. I KNOW THAT!! I asked again but no one return my email. I have not seen the products but I am sure is better quality than the service. I should have received my shipment 10 days ago but because of wrong duty fee charge, so it is still stuck at the custom. Bad customer service, Wrong price to declare shipment. It causes delay delivery. Who knows what would happened with returns and refunds? It would be difficult, I imagine.

I suggest you get a swatch before purchase. The striped and patterned doona covers are very heavy and have that ‘scratchty’ feel. The colours are beautiful. I was told to soften the fabric I had to wash frequently beforehand even put in clothes dryer (not an easy thing to do with a king doona and heavy weight). I tried washing but still feels uncomfortable, not at all breathable like lovely cotton. The company were not helpful as I had to wash the doona cover to see if it would soften, so exchanging was not an option. I hope others don’t encounter this problem because it’s a very expensive purchase!!

Hello Melissa, I am so sorry you did not love the texture of natural linen. If you are used to sleeping on cotton, you will find that linen has a very different feel. Our lovely linen will soften with time (washing & being slept on) and is the highest quality GSM so really is excellent quality linen. The weave of our patterned linen is thicker, meaning it has a heavier feel and will likely last longer. Beware - these sheets have a 2 yr lifespan! After waiting more than a week to hear back from the company about my threadbare sheets, I decided to write a review. Yes these sheets are lovely. Yes the marketing is slick and clever. Yes these sheets are very expensive. The trouble is, they shed. This isn’t meant to happen for long. But it does. I wash the sheets by hand, I rotate with other 3 other sheet sets, I line dry in the shade yet the sheets shed and shed. The shedding thins the fabric to the point it disintegrates. And now, after 2 years, my sheets are threadbare. There are large holes running down the length of the sheets like nothing I’ve seen with my cotton ones. For $300, when used a quarter of the time, I expect them to last more than 24 months. Just beware. *Update* After writing my review, the company contacted me to replace the fitted sheet, saying they had worn “prematurely”. Sadly, another sheet set I purchased at the same time for $295 are now threadbare from what can only be described as light use. It seems this is not a one-off fault, but a feature of the poor quality sheets. Very disappointing.
