Hands down the worse device and company u can have. They never answer the phone, sat on hold for 40 min before just hanging up.been charged over 500 in 3 weeks about. The device is always acting up and got stuck with a restart fee for sum that had nothing to do with me. Go to a different place. Heard lifesaver was a great place to work with.

I do not recommend this company, I was eligible to get the device remove in September, had no violations up to this point, after asking for 180 day compliance letter, I was magically violated for a missed retest. This morning after asking for a compliance letter a week ago, I was violated again for temperature variation. These people are a money grab. If the equipment they install can't handle weather changes they shouldn't be marketing it. Looking for other people who have similar, probable disputes at this time for a class action lawsuit.

Please DO NOT choose this company. I’ve replaced 4 batteries already. They’ve said it’s whoever installed it did it wrong but I’ve had it gone over by someone very trusted. You will get no help from them in any form. Terrible company.

This is by far the rudest company I have ever had to deal with. This company is completely corrupt and couldn’t even name a moral let alone have one. This company takes zero accountability. im not sure how they are legally still up and running but it’s probably because they are a bunch of liars and evil, condescending individual. I can tell why you would need people overseas to handle your customer service because I don’t see how you believe this is how people should be treated. money hungry company and I know karma will find you but I will do my best to let everyone know about yall in the meantime. There are several other options, take any of them and I can bet you’ll have a better experience. Do not call them, do not waste you time or money on them.

It has been a bad experience from the start. My dui is drug related I DO NOT EVEN FUCKIN DRINK. Yet I blew a .050 and now I have to pay extra money for some scam this is bs

INTOXALOCK SUCKS. ANYTIME YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES TO DISCUSS WITH AN ACTUAL PERSON THE COMPUTER WON'T EVEN PUT YOUR CALL THROUGH UNLESS YOU PAY ANY MONIES THAT THEY CLAIM YOU OWE THEM. THEN ONCE YOU PAY, THEY ANSWER THE PHONE AND THEN BLOW YOU OFF UNTIL NEXT TIME. I HAD THE DEVICE WHEN I GOT ANOTHER DUI. IT WAS IMPOUNDED WITH MY TRUCK. I SIMPLY WANTED TO PAY FOR THE DEVICE I LOST, ORDER ANOTHER INSTALLED IN MY NEW TRUCK AND PICK UP MY LEASE. BUT THEY SAY THAT I NOW OWE THEM FOR THE REMAINING TIME ON ORIGINAL LEASE AND FOR LOST UNIT BEFORE I CAN EVEN GET ANOTHER ONE. I'M GOING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

I met my state's requirements for device removal on November 17, 2024 after having had it installed for three years for a .02 BAC. On November 15, 2024 I filled out the questionnaire on the main page under the drop-down menu for device removal, I called three times and waited on hold for over a half an hour before I had to hang up without talking with anyone. Intoxalock now claims that I didn't follow proper procedure in order to remove the device from my car, and because I failed to talk with someone in order to schedule a time to remove my device, they claim I owe them for another lease payment even though the device was removed and they received it in the mail, and in good condition, on November 23, 2024. I followed their removal procedure, they failed to respond to my device removal request, or to my phone calls, yet they try to penalize me for their incompetence. The only way I was able to get through on the phone today was because I called at 6:30 in the morning. This is not the first time I have had issues with Intoxalock. Make sure to read the lease prior to signing and to cross out the extra charges they try to sneak in under their Travel Club program. They will charge you for device protection insurance, road side assistance, and sleeve insurance which is at least an extra $20 every two weeks if you don't specifically opt out of this scam. I would not recommend this company to anyone; they take advantage of people who are already dealing with difficult times.

Customer service is horrible. They hang up on you and always claim there’s no manager around. Very hard to communicate. Language barrier. Save your self a headache and give yourself options.

THE WORST BREATHALYZER COMPANY TO DO BNUSINESSES WITH!!! I GOT A DUI, NO COURT YET, I PUT THE BREATHALYZER BY MY OWN CHOICE. 1. IT DRAINNED MY BATTER AND HAD TO GET A NEW 2.MISSED ONE CALIBRATION AND THEY LOCKED MY CAR 3.GOT IT REMOVED AND IT COST ME 250 AND NOW THEY CAHRGING ME 369 CANCELLATION FEE WHICH THEY SAID ITS FOR THE STATE SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND THIS WASNT EVEN COURT ORDERS. THEY THE WORST COMPANY AGAIN PEOPLE , BETTER PAY A LITTLE MORE, THEY USE SUPER OLD EQUIPMENT AND IF YOU MISS 1 CALIBRATION YOUR CAR IS LOCKED AND YOU NEED TO TOW YOUR CAR TO THE CALIBRATION PLACE, TOTAL BE LIKE 250 FOR TOWING YOU CAR + 30 OF CALIBRATION THEYR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!! DONT AGAIN DONT DO IT!!!! PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR A BETETR AND DECENT COMPANY NOT THIS ONE!

Ive been calling for a month to get the device removed from a vehicle that no longer belongs to the person who got it put in the first place. And CS is absolutely No help!!!!

Worse devices ever and even worse customer service. Do not get anything from this company if I can give a negative star I would. My car would not start I had to get it towed and leave it at the service center. They “said” they would pay for my Uber now they will not. This company is nothing but a headache.

Complete scam! My car has had to get 2 new batteries and 2 alternators replaced because of their device. Then we my car breaks down they charge me another $75 for lock out. I had to get their device removed after it wasn’t working for 5 days and get my car towed. Total nightmare, go with any other company over them.

Charged $30 even thought I got service elsewhere. Had to call three times to get a refund, each time they had an excuse for not being able to do it and kept telling me to call back. Customer service has been horrible and my rep was very demanding and unkind. Would rather drive without an IID and get a felony charge before I’d hire these knuckleheads to do it for me!

Money hunger Corp. that treats you like you are the scum of society !! I would give them 0 stars. If you are using there device you can not talk to someone if you call from any of your known phone numbers. Once you call from a nuber to talk about yopur acount they save that number and the next time you call all you can get is the altomated system. Very frustrating. I'm in PA and am required to have RECAL ever 60 days. If 50 days the device states I have 5 days and then start a count down state I will be locked out. When in deed I stil have 5 days left. Just there way to squeez more money out of you. I get emails stating PA is 35 days RECAL, you need to get it done NOW. which is total BS. Luckily the app does not lie. So I check the app for my 60 day recal date and add it to my calander. Glad I am almost finished with them. My guess is that all the other companies are the same. I hope I am wrong. I live in the country and this was the only place around. Thats why I went with them.

If I could give -1000 stars to this company with their dinosaur machines and endless cycle of different answers every time you call ….I would. Did you know that you cannot even get a record of your own calls with them? One person told me they don’t record the calls. Another person told me they do. A third person said that only a lawyer or court could subpoena such records. Pretty fishy if you ask me. Go with LifeSafer. Lifesaver uses modern equipment, that is discreet, less obnoxious, And has actual people that answer the phone. And their equipment actually works, no scary things. Just does its job.

Everything that can go wrong with this company and their equipment….will. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from them. Horrible customer service, the complete runaround when you really need help. No accountability and a different answer every time you call. That’s if you have a minimum of 45 minutes spare time when you need to call. My service center told me they send defective devices back all the time. When I ask Intoxalocj- they say hardly ever. Lmao! also, it would be really nice if they would fix the syncing and blow timeout issues. I never know what I’m supposed to do next with this machine, it has a mind of its own at all times.

Been charge exsponentialy , live in mn can't talk to anybody easily or resolve issues I've red slot of reviews on here and it sounds like I'm not alone at all on the issues

I have the in-home device. I have COPD. It took me 45 minutes to an hour to blow each time 3x a day. You have to blow in for 3 beeps, suck back in for 2 beeps, and then blow back in for 2 beeps and then you're done. So if you have any respiratory problems or lung problems I would recommend Smart Start. I had to switch to Smart Start and I have had no issues or problems and their customer service is awesome. Also, Intoxalock customer service suck and their rules of payment. I was enrolled in auto pay biweekly. Well I lost my job and on the day they're going to take a payment from me I wouldn't have the money until 5:00 p.m. Get paid and go to bank ATM to deposit money and then pay them. I asked to be taken off auto pay for this time and they would not. they told me that I would have to pay a one month full total balance before doing that. I was like are you kidding me. It is easy with Smart Start. It is portable so I can take it with me and I can blow when need to. Just me 2 cents.

They are so rude and the prices are horrible.. they don't know how to do their job... Every time I would call them it was a problem... I really hope everyone that gets put on a breathalyzer PLEASE 🙏 PLEASE... DON'T GO WITH INTOXALOCK... I REALLY WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME THIS INFORMATION... I WOULD HAVE SAVED MY TIME, STRESS AND MONEY... IM SO UPSET WITH THEM ITS REALLY CRAZY... IM A VERY PATIENT PERSON... YOU CANT UNDERSTAND A DAMN THING THEY SAY... OR THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO LISTEN... ESPECIALLY COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS... I highly suggest going to someone else because INTOXALOCK isn't no good...

Irresponsible, predatory, condescending Just take a moment to read a few of the 5 star reviews and you will immediately discern they are all generic AI generated fakes. That should tell you all you need to know about this company. But I will share my experience as well: I’ve had their device installed in my car for over two years now. I was ready to get it removed until I learned from my monitoring authority that the device logs indicated a missed retest months ago. I had never failed nor missed a retest to my knowledge. I requested more information from Intoxalock and I reviewed the device logs. In my review, I found that in the case of the alleged missed retest, there was log entry for a passed retest that had a timestamp 38 seconds after the missed retest timestamp. After examining the entirety of the logs, I found multiple contradictions among the timestamps, where the logged timestamps did not align with the information presented in the manual and the state requirements documentation. For example, a retest is required from 4-8 minutes after the car is started- and I found instances where the retest was not initiated until 10+ minutes later. I also observe time device display frequently freezing, when this occurs during a countdown timer , the timer will countdown at seemingly random intervals. Making it unclear how much time is actually left. Other times, the device countdown timer willl continue after the car has already been started or the sample has been given. All of this suggests to me an issue with the device that could’ve caused a missed retest to be logged. This was determined to be an infraction by my monitoring authority and has extended the length of my license restriction. I’ve tried multiple times to get support from Intoxalock, when I took my car to the service center for inspection last week, I left it there all day and the technician said he could not get through to Intoxalock by phone. It took a week and several follow up calls for the technician to finally get a hold of someone from the company for support. Meanwhile the device is still making random sounds from behind the steering wheel that it never made before. Im supposed to just trust that it’s going to operate without issue, because that’s what the condescending service agents are asserting. I love being told “listen to me very carefully, okay, you need to call the service center and tell them to call us”. After I had just spent 5 minutes explaining that the service center could not get in contact with them for a week. Maybe they should take their own advice. They might as well use AI agents to answer their phone calls because the script they give their human agents is very limited, and on top of that they are rude and condescending. It’s quite obvious the agents aren’t using their real names either, which makes you wonder why their employer makes them use generic Eurocentric names instead like “Chris” “Oliver” “Ava” “Esther”. There’s no reason to implement a business practice like this without some level of xenophobia involved, but I digress. Ultimately, this company continues to fall short of ethical standards by taking advantage of their customers’ vulnerabilities and perceived submissiveness, to keep them entangled in their racquet for as long as possible. PS Do yourself a favor and record all chat logs and phone calls you have with Intoxalock. As I have done the same, it will come in handy when you need to defend yourself.
