“Parcel supposed to be collected on Wednesday and by Friday I have up and cancelled for a refund. The customer service was really good for responding and refunding but ultimately a complete let down in that they did not provide the service offered and resulted in a three day delay.”

Hi there, thank you for your review and thank you for choosing Irish Parcels. We can see that you chose DPD as a chosen courier for a recent collection and there were unfortunately collection issues. It is very rare for a collection to fail as it is never in the drivers best interest to fail a collection. I can see our team did assist and rebooked your collection for you and followed up with the courier however this failed again and you chose for a cancellation in this instance which our team were happy to provide. Irish Parcels is a courier comparison site and we do offer many various courier options and we would have been happy to change the service or the courier in this instance to help resolve any collection issues with your chosen courier. “Its the first time I try this service. It was excellent, they picked up the parcel on the day they said and it arrived in perfect conditions in 5 days. Plus I could follow up the delivery through their web page with no problem. Very good service in general.”

“Absolutely fantastic service and budget friendly towards over methods of posting My son moved to Australia and wanted to send him a few home comforts. Guy collected parcel at my door and was delivered to Australia 3 days later With a picture of delivery at my sons front door I’ll be using these again amd again while my son is over there Highly recommend”

Hi there, thank you for your review and for using Irish Parcels. We're sorry DPD left this item unattended, the driver would be unaware of the value of any parcel on their van for security reasons and we would recommend attaching separate instructions labels on any parcel stating to not leave unattended. Drivers would normally only leave items unattended if they feel it is safe to do so and we're sorry this was delivered in this way. We are extremely disappointed with your review given that this was delivered next day from when it was collected. Irish Parcels is a parcel comparison site and we do offer various other couriers other than the one you chose in this instance. A negative review like this will only negatively affect Irish Parcels. You can review DPD separately as from your review we can see you had no issues with booking on our website and that your complaint is primarily with the courier in this instance.
