“Excellent service. If I ever wanted to send a parcel again it would be through Irish Parcels.ie. I booked and paid on the Wednesday and the package was collected on the Thursday and delivered on the Tuesday to Germany. Irish Parcels.ie advised me that it was delivered which I especially appreciated. As I said excellent.”

“My pick up was supposed to be Monday and it wasnt picked up until late afternoon on Tuesday. The delay wasnt helpful for what i needed to get couriered. The customer service were very responsive and helpful and it was delivered quickly once it was picked up”

Hi Sarah, thank you for your review. We can see you ordered a shipment that was due to be collected on Monday the 23rd and an expected delivery date of the 24th - 25th February. We are sorry that that this was not collected on the Monday, I can see our team investigated this for you and the driver did attempt the collection at 17:02 but you advised us that the business closed at 16:30. Collections are booked between 9AM and 6PM and we do ask that someone is available to hand over items during these times. The parcel was collected at 16:05 the next day and our team did monitor this for you and updated and this was safely delivered at 12:12 on the 25th of February still within the estimated delivery dates, there was no delay to your delivery dates despite the collection issue. We are disappointed with your one star review as these are normally reserved for when everything has went wrong when this was not the case for your shipment. We would really appreciate if you could update your review to reflect this as one star reviews are very damaging to small companies such as ours. If you need anything else, please let us know. Hi there, thank you for your review. We can see you booked a shipment with Irish Parcels going from Wexford to Dublin. This was booked for a collection on the 18th of February and was collected on this date without any issue that we can see. This was also delivered on time the next day on the 19th. There are also no emails from yourself to our team, did you perhaps book with another company before where you had issues and then booked with Irish Parcels? We cannot see any issues related to your order would would appreciate it hugely if you could update your review to reflect this.

Hi Dave, thank you for using Irish Parcels. We can see you booked for a shipment to be collected on the 13th of February and an estimated delivery date of the 16th. We can see that your order was collected on the date expected and was safely delivered early on the 14th. One of our managers emailed you about this and you believed you had booked a collection for the 6th when this was not the case and this can be verified by checking your payment and confirmation emails. We have clarified everything with you and cannot see any issues with your shipment. We are extremely disappointed with your review given that it contains inaccurate information. We understand that you are not at the collection address and may not have been given the correct information from the sender but we would like clarify what happened. We have checked with the depot directly and the DPD system and both have confirmed that Irish Parcels did book your collection correctly, this was received by the DPD depot and was cofirmed by them at 08:29 on the 13th. This was then dispatched to a driver who attempted the collection an hour later at 09:31 and this was noted as no-one being available. This was then rebooked by the depot later in the day at 14:45, a different driver attempted collection again at 15:07 and again, no one was available with the driver stating that no one was at the premises or answered the phone. The same driver then returned at 15:58 and was able to complete the collection. This was attempted three times in total by DPD on the same day which would not normally happen.

We can see that you contacted out team who rebooked your collection with your chosen courier DPD for a new collection today the 18th of February. This collection was accepted and confirmed by the depot. We would expect the driver to be with you today as collections are between 9AM and 6PM, our team will be in touch with you regarding this as it is being monitored for the collection today however f you need anything else, please let us know. “Efficient, the parcel was delivered within 24 hours from pick up. A prior call to check postcode and address for pick up was also made. The main thing I would hope for in terms of improvement is to be given a pick up time, as the current system means someone has to at the pick up address all day, which is not obvious to organise with a small business.”
