Although the vast majority of our collections and deliveries take place on the expected date, we recognise that factors beyond our control may cause delays. For this reason, we stipulate that our service is not time-guaranteed, only estimated. We can only apologise on behalf of our courier partner for this inconvenience, and we will certainly pass on this feedback to them. There's really not much that went right over the three times that we gave Irish Parcels a go. Drivers that never turn up, don't use their phones to keep you informed - apparently he got stopped by Garda for having a 'bald tyre' (his words, not mine), making him 2 days late - threw our FRAGILE parcel into the truck. GLS was contacted to deliver and they just kept the inefficiency up to the last. Our customer was furious. I.P have used vry excuse not to give a full refund....There will NOT be a fourth offer made.

We are very sorry that you feel let down by our courier partner - as advised via email correspondence, we will pass this feedback onto our courier who will internally investigate this further. As a booking agent we do offer more than one courier service and would always advise on using a service more suited to your needs. As the items are sent on a non-guaranteed service we are not reimbursed any of the costs of the shipments for a delay of any sort by the courier. Although the vast majority of our deliveries take place on the expected date, we recognise that factors beyond our control may cause delays. We believe that this delay has been caused due to the tracking label coming off the item. Without a tracking label the item cannot move through the automated systems. The item needs to be identified and re-labelled before being sent on for delivery. I can see that our customer support team is currently liaising with our courier in order to get this issue resolved. I sent 3 boxes and a suitcase at the same time from Cork (Ireland) to Spain. I just received the 3 boxes and the messenger didn't know anything about the suitcase. Today I received an email from another company saying that my suitcase is in Coventry?!?!? I'm very dissapointed with this service.

Although the vast majority of our shipments arrive on the expected date, we recognise that factors beyond our control may cause delays. Although it is rare, it is possible for larger consignments to be separated during transit. I can see that the delay to your suitcase was caused due to the shipping labels coming off the item. This meant that the courier needed to identify the item in the main sorting centre in Coventry before sending it on its way to its final destination. Our customer support team has followed up on this, and I can see that your item is now on its way from Coventry. As stated in our Terms and Conditions, we recommend against sending suitcases due to these reasons. Again, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. This service is so unprofessional I could not recommend it to anyone. There is a lack of communication between Irish Parcels and TNT who is the actual courier. Neither take responsibility for the order and Mcellistrum it is placed and will redirect you to Irish revenue to source tariff numbers if your parcel is going outside the EU. Delivery people are unhelpful and I waited over a week for a parcel to be collected that never was.

Very bad experience as the driver who was supposed to pick up my order attempted the pick-up outside of the pick-up location's opening hours 3 days in a row (despite knowing the hours). I never received my goods but had to pay anyways.

As advised via email correspondence, our collection times are between 9am-7pm, and unfortunately we are unable to guarantee that the driver will collect at any specific time. As well, as stated within our Terms and Conditions, failed collections with GLS are charged at 50% of the order total and any refunds offered will be limited to 50% of the order total. I can see that this refund has been issued, and should be with you within 3-5 days of being processed. Again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. I booked and paid for the service from GLS of having a package picked up and delivered in ireland. The whole process was very unsatisfactory altogether. Firstly the driver failed to show when scheduled date arrived on package label, on top of that he claimed he could not find address which was totally untrue. next day I had to call courier company . Was told courier would be collecting that day which he did. Next day my customer phoned to say no package arrived. checked on line tracking to discovery that courier again had a untrue statement that box was not ready to go (he had already collected previous day). turned out he had left it on van overnight and it missed the next day delivery. had to phone them again and also emailed them to find out. worst service I ever used as in GLS. They will never be used by us here again. The collection and delivery took 5 days. It would have been in the UK quicker.

I can see you were in touch with our colleague Jodie who liaised with the courier to get this collected and to find out why a delay took place. my parcel is almost 10 days late and I pay the price for express delivery I will never work with this company again and I will make sure that nobody that I know come near this website

DPD were 24 hours late picking up the parcel - there was no sense of urgency, no apologies. I have since tried to track the parcel and guess what - I can't! I have no confidence that my parcel will ever get to it's destination - depending on a wing and a prayer isn't the best way to conduct my business!

Had a family member wait at home in France for three consecutive days for the parcel to be collected. No contact at all from IrishParcel as to why it wasn't collected each day. Very disappointing. Cancelled the order and found another company. Shambles.

Unfortunately your item was not collected on the expected date as it was a public holiday in France, and unfortunately our couriers do not operate on public holidays. We are very sorry about this. Unfortunately Jodie was assured by our courier after following up on this that the collection would go ahead on the next working day. However, on this occasion the driver did run out of time. Its service was a total mess,started from that they missed my collection, their online tracking wasn't working, nor their agent knew anything about my collection for the first 24 hours. Then I was told by their management in the email saying that their service was not time guranteedI and its not the diver's responsibility to contact- phone ccustomers for collection. What's kind of courier service is that? Why we pay loads extra for not granted time line service?? I totally lost words, Lesson learned, I would rather pay a bit extra for other better courier servive such as DHL or even Irish post for a cheap price with no collection. Now I have to spend another an hour to write 4th email to their management on top of 5 hours communication all in all.

As advised by our customer support team via email correspondence, the courier attempted collection on the expected date, however was unable to collect as no one was available to hand the item over to the driver. As we handle an extremely high volume of shipments on a daily basis, we cannot individually monitor each one, and so we rely on the customer getting in touch with us in order to seek a resolution to the issue. It is for this reason that we advise in our Terms and Conditions, which are agreed to at booking, that our service is not time-guaranteed, only estimated. We also cannot guarantee that the driver will call upon their arrival, as not all drivers have access to mobile phones for work purposes due to security and safety reasons. Again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and we regret that you do not intend to use our services again. I can see that a full refund has been issued for this failed collection. Parcel was to be delivered on 19th October 2016. To date, it still has not been delivered and items in the paracel were needed for today, 20th.
