ordered a mattress from JC Penney and got it 6 weeks later the company that delivered it walked on my light carpet with dirty shoes! when I put the mattress flat I noticed a rip in the fabric. I called to return it and was told it would be picked up in 2-3 days. called on day 3 and was told that it would take up to 2 weeks to pick up. The order had not even been sent in to the company to pick it up yet. I would give them a 0 for customer service!!! Will not order anything from JC Penney in the future!

I tried for two hours to get someone to pick up phone in any department to buy a $2000 Mattel reds. No one picked up phone. Do not shop at this terrible retailer.customer service does not pick up either

Ordered on JC penny.com.Received an email that my order was in.Went to the store and picked up my package.When i got home tehre was only 1 shirt when their should have been two.I called the store numerous times and no one picked up.I wanted to really make sure that that they had another package before i went to the store again. I called JC penny .com and then was forwaeded to 4 different people and got hung up on.I tried again and the last person i spoke to said you have to call the store.I explained no one was picking up at that phone number.I tried the store number again,Still no answer.I decided to go back to the store.Went to pickups and still couldn't find my package.I asked to speak to Manager.She happened to be present at the package pickup. The manager said she was going to look up the package a different was and she waS Able to find the package.When i got home opened teh package and had 2 shirts.I only ordered 2 and got 3. 2 were the same color.I had it shipped to teh store to save money on shipping.Making 2 trips was no cost saver on gas plus my time.Next time i will have it shipped to my home.

I had a dress bought at Fashion Square mall Jcpenney right before store was closing, I bought a bunch of stuff, dresses, home stuff, I had a dress that I saw had security tag attached to it, I took it back to a store to have the tag removed, didn't have the receipt since I took it to store 6 months later. The associate and manager were not helpful. So rude and not at all helpful. I left the dress on the counter and left. I have so many clothes that I didn't think of looking through everything at once. I would give zero if I could.

Terrible customer service. Bought a mattress (expensive purchase) and within 3 mos it started sagging. So I went in today to get another. The supervisor smuggly told me that they weren't responsible, it was in my home, so I had to contact Sealy. Sealy said that I had been mislead, that they receive a lot of calls from Penneys customers, they gave me the number to call. Customer service supervisor said I had to buy a new mattress, pay $85 for them to take old one away, pay 15% process fee, and after they disposed of the old mattress I would get a refund of my original purchase. So they lie to you, make returns complicated, and then charge you for a product under warranty!

Growing up in a small town my mom would order clothes through the Penney's catalogue, so I always liked the store even though orders back then took about a week and a half to arrive. I placed my online order 8/3/2021 estimated arrival date was 8/12/2021. With covid I allowed them more time before contacting customer support. On 8/24/2021 I sent an email asking if they knew what is going on with my order that I was never able to track. They responded with what information was needed to assist me and help track my order. So I emailed that information and haven't heard back. Here it's 8/29/2021 I know one thing for sure, I will never place an online order through JCPenney's ever again. This is ridiculous, at this point I don't even want my order I just want my money back.

I just spent time shopping at your Pompano Beach JC Penneys. Went to the register to pay. No internet can't access your app or your .Com to use a coupon. I left without making my purchase. A waste of my time. Very frustrating and no help from your employee. Bad service for a customer who loves shopping at your store.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. The worst experience!!!! I placed an order on 8/2/2021 with an estimated delivery date of 8/13/2021 to the store of my choice. Well, needless to say that did not happen and after multiple calls, with NO ONE able to help with status of the order as I tracked & it was "in transit to the store" all the time. On 8/21/2021 I was assured it will be arriving within the next 10 bus days, only to receive an email CANCELING my order as it was not picked up!! The disconnect is unbeliavable. Very dissatisfied.

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!!!!! They cant get a dime of my money EVERY AGAIN!!! Shipping is slow and customers service is trash. Ive closed my account and will not patronize any of the stores!! I’ll definitely be spreading the word.

Someone needs to train their employees on how to pack a package for shipping. I just recieved my order which was glassware. I believe it was the worse packaging I have ever seen. The box of glassware was just flopping around in the box. Its a miracle they werent broken!!!

The worst experience ever. I ordered a mattress and waited 2 months then my card expired when they went to ship and cancelled my order without reaching out to me. Then I call the day after the order was cancelled and they tell me to reorder it and and wait 2 more months and the price is 300 more. Totally ridiculous I will never shop their for anything. I will make sure everyone knows the lousy customer service.

I used to consider JCPENNEY one of the top line stores, like Macy's, Foleys. I went to Barton Springs mall in Austin, TX, and was searching through the clearance section and found and bought some redish/burgundy king size sheets and came home to wash them. The problem with the sheets is after being washed the color red is everything is RED! My fingernails, the mattress cover, anything that you wear, etc. is all RED!!! Since when did JCPENNEY sale things that are so cheap! Never again! 😒

A had a horrible experience with the Jewelry Dept. In Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. I Purchase a diamond ring last year and got it sized. They told me it would be back within a month. I kept calling everyone month and they would tell me it wasn't back from getting it sized. Finally after they research why it wasn't back they discovered that someone with my same name had picked it up. I was furious and told them that it wasn't me that picked it up and to compare the signature of the other person. They Finally discovered that they gave it to the wrong person and gave me a replacement. In April i bought another ring and the same thing happened. They called the wrong person to go pick up the ring. Apparently there is another Lady with my name. I was very 😡 upset because I thought they had corrected the issue. This lady is a thief and JC Penny is horrible, they never handle the situation the first time. I asked for my money back on this last purchase and I'm never going to buy from them again.

I was charged a late fee every month due to the due date not being changed and also had to pay for my return mailings. Customer service manager "Delores" was a cold robotic representative. I will never purchase anything from this store again. Signed, Frustrated, Linda

If i could give them a 0 star review I would. I am so upset at their jewelry department (every store). My boyfriend purchased a promise ring from them in May and we waited 3 weeks for it to be resized and come back in. It was beautiful when it did finally come back in HOWEVER THREE days after getting it back a diamond completely fell out and 2 more were loose and had moved. We were upset because I only had it for 3 days so we took it back and luckily we had gotten a lifetime warranty. We asked for our money back since the ring was defective and I only had it 3 days before it fell apart. We were told that they cannot give refunds back. So we decided to send it off using the warranty and have them replace the missing diamond and fix the other 2 that were clearly crooked. They told us it was going to take 5 to 8 weeks. I was very upset because I only had the ring for THREE days!! Also, this was not a cheap rinky dinky ring, we paid quite about of money for it and were told that it is uncommon for diamonds to fall out. We waited FIVE weeks for it to come back in, and yesterday we went to pick it up, and guess what.... the crooked diamonds were NOT fixed. We didn't even leave the store with it. They were clearly still crooked and it was VERY noticeable. I was so upset and I started crying because we need the ring now for an upcoming date AND we were told we would have to wait FIVE more weeks while they sent it off to be FIXED AGAIN. THEY didn't fix it in the first place. The manager told us we could not get any money back they could only send it off again. Finally, she said she would exchange it for the same ring or give PARTICAL money back. Not even the whole thing even though I only ever had it for THREE days. I was still so distraught that we couldn't get the full refund, so we decided to go with a different ring and hope the diamonds wouldn't fall out. So now were having to wait a few weeks for the new one to come in. I am so unhappy with how they handled this. I feel as if they should have sent our ring to be fixed first since they didn't fix it correctly in the first place. We will NEVER be buying from JC penny again and we will tell everyone we know how horrible our experience was that way they will not buy from them too. JC Pennys ruined our ring shopping experience and I hope other people do not fall into this trap.

First of all, LUV JCPenney, Hate their automation to make a payment. I think the company can take a note from Kohls playbook. Simple and efficient. Hope you can change it soon.

I bought a chain from them and its FAKE! REAL GOLD SHOULD NOT STICK TO A MAGNET AT ALL! The chain itself didnt stick but the clasp did. Nothing said on the label that it was plated anywhere on the chain. If its plated in certain spot IT SHOULD BE LABELED AS SUCH. Who wants to pay 700 on something that is not fully real!

As a Gemologist, DO NOT buy any jewelry from them. Very low quality at a price that'll leave you broke. Go to a locally owned store for your jewelry.
