When your store does not have a product, I then go online to order it. I did that on my last order and I was charged shipping. Shipping to store. What are you thinking? If you don’t have it at your store why am I being penalized by paying shipping to order it online? You will lose my online business. I have tried very hard to continue to shop at JCPenney throughout this pandemic, but if you’re going to charge shipping to store I will go to a different merchandiser. I was very disappointed by your change. My sales woman, Melissa, at customer service in the back of the store was very nice. She was the only good thing about this transaction.However, JCP this new move is not very customer friendly.

Hello, I bought 2 black series street savage rc car in yellow 2 years ago but jcpennys kept sending out broken return ones it was all undone in the box and it looked like it was a return like some body returned a broken one. also I bought a sharper image thunder tumbler rc car red but I don’t like that jcpennys put it in a bag and it was all squished when it arrived I was not very happy about jcpennys the few times there were horrible lately.

Port Charlotte Florida. Lines have been awful in Men's dept. All other departments don't have any cashiers. Only men's. 20 people in line with only 2 cashiers. Twice this has happened. in one week.

I had placed an order in January 2021 for an Ashley couch and loveseat. Learned today that my order would not be filled until October 2021 . Very disappointing since I had accepted the COVID crisis and the Suez Canal event. Do not recommend ordering furniture from Penny's unless you want to wait almost a year.

I placed an order on Sunday, and we had a family emergency and was going to be out of town for a week. I called to have the order shipped to the store instead of to our home. I was told that there is nothing they can do for me. I should contact the shipper. How could I contact the shipper when the order was not yet filled? The call center supervisor said she was the highest level when I requested to speak with a manager. JC Penney does not care about customers, no wonder stores are closing. In the technology age, they don’t have an option to cancel or make changes to orders is absurd. I will take my business elsewhere, where people don’t hang up on you, or have a bad attitude.

Purchased a queen size Sealy Humbolt Mattress that was sold as a Firm, after 3 nights sleeping on it, It became a hammock shape and had to climb uphill to get out of bed and cause back pain. Penny's makes it very difficult to return. Never will recommend Sealy or Penny's again. Very disappointed at JC Penney's and Sealy for selling Junk like this mattress.

Worked there full time for 3 years. Made an already low hourly wage but was expected to perform at the highest level of commitment with no raise in 3 years due to company’s “bankruptcy “

Purchased a mattress, was told there will be a three week lead time. After 4 weeks now, I was informed that it will be another 4 weeks until it ships from the factory. 8 weeks to get a mattress-bizzare. Customer service informed me that it shipped on 4/22, which was a lie. The sales man promised delivery in 3 weeks, which was also not accurate information. Since JCP does not stock any mattresses, I had to cancel the order. I paid cash at the time of purchase, but have to wait 7-14 business days to receive a check for my refund. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...NO SOLUTION....NO SUPERVISOR CAN ASSIST WITH THIS PROBLEM EITHER. My advice....don't purchase anything from furniture or mattresses from them To find this out, it took me 3 phone calls and 2 hours and 15 minutes!!!!! Unacceptable.

I am very disappointed in the jury department with supervisor and manager no customer service at all.. I and my fiance came in and bought two engagement rings which was supposed to be size to our feet. His ring was not sized to his feet they ordered it through a third party and it was received at the store. I came in and they cannot find it or never gave me a call one manager came up and could not find it also supervisor arrived and found it 20 minutes later... 🤔 My engagement ring also with my wedding ring could not be found in this system supervisor finally finds it in the system and did not know if it was in Texas or on its way back to the Stockton location.. I called in today in the supervisor was very rude on the telephone but not let me speak to this store manager and then what to explain on how the store manager already had left the store.. he also told me that my ring has just made it to Texas three and a half weeks later so I asked how long would it take for it to come back to the store he has no idea.. SMH I thought that JCPenney's would have been the best way to go about it but I'm having second thoughts.. I'm getting married in 2 weeks and I do not have a ring 😭😭🙏🏾

Wanted to return a pair of tennis shoes, wore them a few times and didn’t fit right. I purchased two of a smaller size and kept those but they would not let me return the too big shoes since I had wore a few times. I had them for less than two weeks. No thank you , I will shop at Kohl’s from now on where this is never a worry or issue

Hello yes I bought a recliner that matched a sofa online to JCPenney furniture look good online I've had it for less than 6 months and the chair has already broke one of the back braces makes me feel betrayed by JCPenney very bad furniture

I bought 4 sets of towels in January, today I noticed one of the hand towels is already ripping I called customer service only to be told they have a 45 day policy. Words cannot describe how I feel right now I spent over 400 hundred dollars. Needless to say I will never shop at JCPenny beware shoppers!!!!!!!!!!

My husband received a jacket from his father, who has recently been diagnosed with stage four cancer. Unfortunately, they got the wrong size, so we went to exchange it and they had to order it in. We have now been at the JC Penny store 4 times to exchange it. They have sent the wrong color twice and the wrong size twice. Now, the coat is out of stock and JC Penny won't do anything to help. Honestly, this is more of an emotional attachment to the jacket, due to my husband's fathers diagnosis. Because JC Penny messed the order up four times, now we are penalized. My husband has reached out and they have not done anything. Very disappointed with the level of service.

Honestly the Sephora In jcp deserves a zero star service I did a curb side pick up and the order unfortunately was canceled and I was okay with accepting that; but It’s been 2 months now and I still haven’t received my refund from the Sephora In jcp I will not be returning back to this Sephora ever again.

I received a $50 gift card. Even though I paid for shipping I never received my order. They sent it without my apartment number so USPS would not leave the package. JC Penny refunded $27.86! Apparently they charged me for the discount I was given at checkout AND the shipping even though it was their fault I never received the package! This was a straight up rip off of $22.14! And their customer service number is a joke! They try to sell you or sign you up for a bunch of other services, but you never get to speak to an actual person! I had to call my local store, EVEN though the order was placed online! I will never do business with them again and have told family & friends to NEVER give me one of their gift cards ever again!

I honestly didn’t even want to give 1 star. I had a curbside at Jcpenny that I was going to try today. Since I had my 11 month old I didn’t want to bring in store. So I pulled up. There was not a single sign for curbside. So I politely called to ask where to park and the first person to answer was extremely rude and would not answer me. She then hung up the phone on me. The next employee I spoke with, I told her what happened and I just need to know where to park. She then sat the phone down mid conversation and eventually just hung the phone up. I then was forced to come in store. They then proceeded to tel me they have so much time to do the curbside. She after they immediately didn’t get it out to me, the checked it off as filled, when it absolutely was not. I thought they gave my items to another customer. I will never shop at Jcpenny again because the customer service is TERRIBLE. This was the Moline IL location.

I went online to order to pick up it was a gift for a child. I tried for a hour to get it to work when I couldn’t I went the store ( I live a hour out of town I drove in just for this gift) The cashier was very nice and tried to help me but when she couldn’t I asked her to please call manager and she did. It was a toy they only had one left it was on sale for 33. It had a code hearts to get it for 29.99 the cashier tried very had to help me find how to do it Finally we were able to get a manager she was not friendly acted like I was bothering her she had to walk to another register to try and figure it out never said excuse me I will be right back or nothing just took it and came back not happy. She would not give it to me for 29.99 but because it was advertised at 33.99 she did give it to me for that thank goodness but did not even try to get the code heart pricing I just paid the 33.99 plus tax and took my gift. I was extremely disappointed I drove a hour to this store for manager not to honor full sales price and be treated ugly by manager. I have to say the cashier was very nice and did everything she could to help. I have done a lot of business in this store and shop very often there. I feel you really need to focus on employment customer service.

There prices is his high but there stuff is trash it does last at all you wash the clothes it fades quick I use to shop there alot but not anymore . It's cheap none quality but there prices is high . Everything that I have purchased from them either broke, clothes faded shrink not good. I wont be shopping there no time soon
