I have just googled Karen Millen deterioration in quality and can see from this website most people are having the same problem. A big Karen Millen fan, bought some quality pieces over the years which still look brand new. Recently bought a green parka, which looked beautiful on the website. When it arrived I loved the style but the stitching is shocking. I did keep it but had to go around the coat with a pair of scissors cutting the loose bits of cotton off. Won’t be ordering again as one review says..New Look quality at KM prices.

Parcel did not arrive, no refund after two weeks!!! First Time used Karen Millen! After two weeks I am still waiting to get my refund, parcel hasnt arrived and no refund has been issued!!! it has been more than two weeks now, left me out of pocket, costed me extra charge as I paid with ClearPay. I will never shop from Karen Millen again!! useless customer service!!!!

I bought two leather trousers from the current collection, in the fig colour and the red colour, both size UK14. The fig color arrived with marks on the leather and buttons but, funny thing is, even though they were both UK14, the fig colour was too small and would not close and the red trouser was too big! Karen Millen quality decreased a lot and costumer services are appalling. The trousers look nothing like in the photos, the legs are not slim and they are not high waist as described. Avoid!

After returning an item on July 15th, KM has acknowledged the return by email on July 24th. The refund only happened on Oct 26th after me chasing it...so keep track of your returns and check your bank statements. Not a happy customer at all!

I was a regular shopper when the shop was open, I made my first purchase online at the beginning of September and when the item arrived it was a different pattern completely to the one shown in the picture. I have written to customer services 3 times and so far have not had any response. I can safely say it has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend anyone to buy from the online site.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered! Chose a beautiful looking dress in the sale but sadly, when it arrived, I was extremely disappointed. Considering the original price I would have expected a much higher quality. The actual fabric was very pretty but I would have expected fabric pattern to be matched up down the front skirt seam. Sad to return it - but it was not worth the sale price of £60 - never mind the full original price!

Awful, awful, awful quality. So disappointed with my purchases. If I wanted poor quality items I would have gone to the market. Very upsetting to see this.

The majority of my wardrobe has been KM over the years... But since the takeover the quality, cut, material and finish of the clothes is abysmal. It's now New Look with KM prices. I did a final order with KM last week as a last ditch attempt- everything went back and I won't be shopping here again.

I was such a loyal KM fan, happily paying more for quality that lasts years. All that's gone now and the current clothing range after the acquisition is cheap and nasty. I bought a dress that was so thin it was practically see-through and the cut was awful. Gone are linings, attention to detail and quality. Rip KM.

Bought lovely trousers could have fitted into the size 10 size 12 dress was more like a childs size 6 to 8 i put on weight during lockdown but this is ridiculous sizing completely all over the place! Rubbish!

Purchased a silk animal utility shirt end February £67.50. It is 70% cotton and 30% silk. It says wash at 30 degrees. The fabric is so shoddy- first the material split over the left pocket(which was stitched), Then the material split over the right pocket. Now the seam has gone on the collar. This isnt the quality you would expect for £67.50. so disappointed and annoyed.

Bought the leather trenchcoat cost over three hundred pounds the lining is atrocious a six year old could have done it better so the coat doesn’t hang right sending back so disappointed

I have just received the Karen Millen leather trenchcoat I am appalled at the quality the lining looks like a child has sown it on such bad workmanship over three hundred pounds so disappointing for a label I had such high expectations

Terrible quality. Cheap thin polyester. Why bother bringing it back when the quality is so bad. Now such a rip off. That was regrettably my last purchase. RIP Karen Millen clothing.

I've been wearing Karen Millen for 25 years and always loved the excellent quality and unique designs. I have dresses, jackets and suits in my wardrobe that have never gone out of style and look as good now as when I bought them. How disappointing then that, having been taken over by BooHoo, the quality has nosedived so dramatically. My order of 3 t-shirts, a top and a dress arrived this morning. I haven't been able to buy KM for a couple of years as I have been on Carer's Allowance while I looked after my Dad but I came into some funds and decided to treat myself. I was especially pleased that they had a sale on - 40% off everything! It sounded almost too good to be true - and of course it was! There's nothing really 'wrong' with the items, they are probably worth what I paid for them (apart from the dress which has a REALLY cheap plastic belt which I will be throwing away) and, reading others' experiences of returning goods, I will be keeping them but they certainly won't be part of my wardrobe in ten or even 5 years time, unlike my KM classics. The t-shirts don't even have a KM label in them, only the cardboard tag identifies them as anything other than bog standard cheapy Ts. It's a sad day indeed. Take a tip from me and go on Ebay to buy genuine KM items which will last years. You'll be doing the environment a favour too.

I used to love Karen Millen, just purchased a dress and it’s nothing like the quality it used to be. Bad fit and really cheap fabric. Please don’t use the Karen Millen label, it’s deceiving customers.

Quality is far from what it used to be, but prices are still the same. Such a shame. My closet is full of Karen Millen, but it looks like I have to find myself a new favourite brand.

Just received two t shirts as rage previous one I had was lovely,made in Portugal and great quality. I had no idea that they were now made in Bangladesh. The quality is poor and the cut and fit not good as I ordered same size as the previous one thinking it would be the same , Marks and Spencer do better and that’s not saying much! Can’t be bothered to return them ok for round the house but wouldn’t wear the, out v disappointed.

Waiting over two weeks for a refund...after tracking my parcel to see it was received in their warehouse weeks ago! I hadn’t realised Karen Millen are in fact now ‘Boohoo’ ...explains everything so I won’t be ordering from them again.
