I am still waiting on my refund from a return received in February. It is now May, and they keep telling me I should hear soon. They originally told me I had already received the refund, but when they gave me the date, it was prior to them receiving the items. When I pointed this out, they said oh, there is a known issue with refunds. I am still waiting. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this brand. Unacceptable customer service and returns.

The worst company to buy from. Do not purchase anything from this company. I bought a 900$ coat , it was damaged. I returned it within specified timeline. I have been chasing for a refund for 4 months. Now they say time has run out to receive a refund. Do not buy from this company

I sent two items back ,that came together, only got one refund and that was after chasing it up , I then had to prove that I sent the other item back ,they said they had no evidence, lucky I had all the specific postage and orders . Chat gpt helped me get my refund .

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Karen Millen. I paid £8.99 twice for three dresses with DPD next-day delivery. The first order: I was told the first dress would arrive via DPD, but the second dress—ordered at the same time—would come via Royal Mail and take 5 working days. I then ordered a third dress and paid £8.99 again. Still, none of the dresses arrived on time. Customer service is appalling—completely useless. All they do is copy and paste a tracking link with no actual tracking number. I will never be ordering from Karen Millen or any business associated with them. This is unacceptable and extremely poor service.

It’s terrible—orders take way too long to arrive, and if you return something, it’s even worse; they take forever to process returns. I’m currently having trouble with a return: I still haven't received my refund, yet they claim they’ve already sent it. I will never buy anything from them again. So, if you’re planning to make a purchase, keep this in mind: they have nice items, but dealing with them is a total headache. I actually had to contact my credit card company to file a dispute because the merchant claims they never received the return, while Karen Millen insists they’ve already processed it—they just keep repeating the same thing. I honestly think I’m dealing with a computer, not a real person. It’s terrible.

Shocking service, returned 24/2/26, they received 28/2/26. Was told to wait till 11/3/26 for my refund. Now 20/3/26 and been told the refund has exceeded. Absolute joke. Run by the same company as boohoo.

Very bad experience. I have returned an item as it was extremely big. The item was received by the company. I have been chasing a refund of the money for over 10 days now.

I also couldnt get the choice of refund to credit card option to stay in that box as I went onto the next section of returns i noticed it had gone to gift card. I do not want to spend 300 again this was a one off wedding dress option . I contacted KM that night on customer services to stop the proccess no reply , by the time i found i should be emailing BOOHOO customer services ? who have reponded but a Bot i feel,They are saying its procesessed because gift card is delivered. I returned items on time.

Awful just awful. Never buy from them again. Returns policy is outrageous - can’t get anywhere and they don’t care. It amounts to theft by a falsely claimed returns policy. Hopefully they will go out of business soon

SCAM ALERT !!!! KarenMillen.com I am formally reporting what appears to be a systematic and organized pattern of delayed responses and non-refunds by KarenMillen.com, strongly resembling a consumer scam mechanism. This pattern includes repetitive automated or chatbot-style replies that appear designed to delay resolution, during which time other customers may continue to be affected by the same practices. Summary of the Issue On December 3rd, I returned multiple items to Karen Millen (Too big which is weird as I have been buying the same size for years from official stores), via the official return process. The return was successfully delivered and confirmed, yet no refund, update, or resolution has been provided for over 2 month, despite multiple follow-ups. This case is entirely unrelated to a £20.42 refund processed on December 23rd (from them as non available item deducted from the invoice!!!), which was handled separately by their system and has nothing to do with the returned order detailed below. The outstanding refund concerns 10 items valued at over €650 with discount. Clearly Im Public reporting of this case across social media and review platforms and now escale it to EU consumer authorities!! STAY AWAY!!!!

I wouldn't give KM one star a big zero! I sent a dress back, no refund, I have emailed the proof that royal mail delivered it back to them, and nothing I've sent about 20 emails no response no money back I will never order from them again. Terrible company what a complete con. I have started a dispute with my bank. Never deal with KM never order from them

First, they don't provide refunds for returns. They only provide credit. Then, they have ZERO customer service. I have a "voucher" for my credit but I cannot apply it at checkout and I've emailed and texted customer service and after three days have gotten NO REPLY. They are horrible. They have no number to call so they force you to deal through email which they don't monitor or text which they don't reply. Do not buy here. Buy from a company that backs their products and provides customer care. Once I use this voucher I will never buy there again.

I ordered a coat at the end of September. It broke very shortly after purchase, outside the “change of mind” period but clearly due to a fault. After contacting customer service and providing photos, I was told I could return the item. I sent it back at the beginning of November using the QR code provided by Karen Millen. Despite this and and proof of delivery, I received no confirmation of receipt and eventually no responses at all. As a result, I opened a PayPal dispute in early December and provided all correspondence, photos, the return QR code, and tracking information. Even though the item had already been delivered back to their warehouse weeks earlier, PayPal was contacted me early January, stating that Karen Millen had "agreed" that a refund would be issued “once the item is received” (which doesn't make any sense as the item has been back at their warehouse for weeks already). I was later sent a new QR code asking me to return an item that had already been returned. Only after the dispute progressed - and after I noticed many similar complaints on social media - was the refund finally confirmed, with PayPal deciding the case in my favour. I wish I had read reviews before ordering, as my experience appears not to be an isolated one.

If I could give zero star I would. I have been in touch with Karen Millen more than 15 times over the past 4 weeks trying to return my items. I received my order which I contacted to say the full packaging smells of stale fish. Despite requesting human contact to resolve the issues this still hasn’t happened. I waited 4 days for a response on WhatsApp more than once. I’ve used the live chat which is absolutely useless. Also emailed customer service to receive the same automated response. I’ve requested a complaint be logged and still zero acknowledgement. My order no is KUK104977700 and a value of £200 which I would like acknowledgement for the return issues I have told you about over the past 4 weeks. I will also raise this as a dispute with my bank. Several dates of experience but dates my 1st I have the full WhatsApp trail & email trail, which I will load if not received an acknowledgment.

Returns policy- error made by pressing credit tried to reverse this and unable to do so . Attempted several times to contact KM to change this and told unable to do so. I cannot believe that this is correct . Financially need this refund in my account. No one to actually talk to - no consideration for circumstances ,individual situations . Very harsh and heartless - used KM for several years when sales are on . Customer care? Nonexistent. See that Paul’s name has been used previously and I’m afraid I feel likewise

Very poor customer service.Returned two items in one parcel as instructed, but was told only one was received and a full refund was refused. Long delays, no apology, and no real support. Very disappointing.

Karen Millen is failing to meet basic UK consumer law. I returned my order correctly, they confirmed it, gave me a refund deadline — and then ignored all communication and simply didn’t refund me. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, refunds must be issued within 14 days. Karen Millen missed this legal deadline, pushed it further without explanation, and still does not reply. After reading other reviews, this isn’t a mistake — it’s a pattern. Customers are left without refunds and without answers. A brand that operates like this cannot be trusted.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars CANNOT GET MY REFUND On 11 November I got notification that KM had received my return valued at £257.40. It is now 10th December and I still have not had my money refunded. I see from Facebook that this is normal practice for KM. They do not respond to emails, messages or FaceBook comments. I have contacted PayPal and they recommend to get in touch with my Card Provider or Citizens Advice Bureaux which I have now done and had to resort to writing to their Solicitor: Emma Marie Woollard, 49-51 Dale Street, Manchester M1 2HF and giving them 7 days to pay. What a sad state of affairs for what was once such a trusted brand before it was purchased by the Debenhams Group.
