“Had two visits to the Dumfries branch, was asked to return again on a third visit before I could get a price to replace my exhaust and front tyre. I decided to go to a different garage and got sorted with 40 mins. Will not return and certainly won't recommend to anyone”
“Filled gas in my car and it leaked with in 1 month. took it back and they charged additional £35 to diagnose. Told me to wait for 20 days or alternatively take it to one in Bletchley which will possibly do it quicker. Called them and now they want to diagnose it again since it was not done by 'Master Technician'. when ask why they are diagnosing again. guy promptly said its best to wait for the first branch. Seriously pathetic service. Would avoid as much as possible.”
“Booked air con recharge for 9.30. Arrived promptly at 9.25. Told it would be ready in an hour. Arrived back at 10.25 to see they had not even started work. 10.35. Just started.”

Yet again I'm.left angry. Please replace my front tyre were my instructions. Arrived back to collect car to find it in the air on the ramp. I was told the tracking was out. I didnt ask them to check it. 40 quid for a front wheel and 17 for the rear wheel
Absolute con artists. I'm sure they left the car on the ramp for dramatic effect. I'll not using them again. I'm.sure they get away with this on a regular basis with less knowledgable customers. Avoid”
“Absolutely useless the Nottingham road branch they have 3 lads sitting in the back car park sunning it lad at main reception unable to fix my tyre due to bad back never will go back again this is not the first time I’ve been let down by these this was the last straw as I’m writing this review I’ve got a account with you I’m looking on finding a new company to service the fleet.”
“Rip off company check online price first before you purchase
Had a puncture which was on the side wall so needed a new tyre on my ford fiesta was charged £107 by Kwik Fit Deal Kent which i thought was a bit high but had no option but to pay.
When i got home and checked the Kwik internet site the same tyre was being sold including fitting for £80.
I have contacted Kwik Fit for an explanation but received no reply. Complete rip off from this company avoid at all cost !!!!”
“Called for an exhaust quote, 248 pounds and they say it has a cat but it's a diesel (non dpf) when questioned he said well I can see a bulge, called to complain but after being number 1 in the queue for 46 minutes nobody is there - avoid kwik fit entirely, it is broken and so will you be!”
“After having driven the car to make the online appointment at the branch at 131-137 Broadway West in Ealing, much to my dismay, I was informed by the staff that the air-conditioner recharging machine had broken down yesterday and therefore the work could not be completed. Nobody from Kwik-Fit had the courtesy to inform me and to cancel the appointment.
Moreover, I was asked to ring Customer Service to request a refund as the Centre said they could not help arrange that. I rang the number 0800 75 76 77 and was waiting for over 30 minutes with no answer, before finally hanging up in frustration.
Very poor service levels from KwikFit contrary to previous experiences .... beware of similar experiences particularly with the West Ealing branch.”
“The way the supervisor talks to his staff especially the female is beyond disgusting. I will not be back to the Motherwell branch for this reason if Kwik fit condone a male to talk to a female and treat her in a manner which is disgusting and upsetting to its paying customers then I will ne using a company who dont allow it. Its nice to see a female in a male renowned industry and if that is how they treated no wonder its male dominated.”
“Disappointed, had my wife’s Air-Con booked in for a gas recharge. Picked up the car and noted a background noise that sounded like a fan running at high speed (I assumed this was a engine’s fan cooling due to the high ambient temperature) Didn’t use the vehicle until the following day, as soon as my wife started the car an engine warning light illuminated on the dashboard. I contacted Kwik Fit first thing on the Monday morning and spoke to Dan, Dan insisted the engine warning light / fault had nothing to do with them. He followed his denial up with an engine diagnostic which would cost me £35. Stunned at his attitude, I would have thought the offer of a free diagnosis would have been acceptable, either way I would have most likely had any remedial work done with them. Not now, and I will certainly do all I can to dissuade anyone I know to avoid using Kwik Fit.”

I’m loathe to leave a bad review because the staff were friendly. However, I had an awful experience. I booked in for an air con check and regas three days before a long trip to Cornwall - the garage had the car for 1.5 - 2 hours. When I picked the car up it had been checked and regassed and it was fine. The morning of our trip the air con stopped working. Contacted KWIK FIT who said there’s a clearly a leak! No s**t, Sherlock?! Further response was you need to bring it in for repair - we’re not responsible for this or that blah blah blah. If they had done a full check why wasn’t the leak picked up? Did they even do a pressure test? They said please bring it in and we can diagnose and repair but it’ll take a day! So I was left with an 8 hour journey to Cornwall in July with my dog in the cataract with no air con! Total waste
of £70. Now, after a horrendous journey I’ve got to go to Halfords in Penzance to get it repaired! £60 taxis plus cost of diagnosis and repair! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO KWIK FIT AND DON’T PHONE EXPECTING ANY KIND OF RESOLUTION. APPALLING.”
“Went to Welwyn garden city for two tyres I have never seen anything like that take so long!! The guy doing the work just wanted to chat and avoid doing anything must be a manager's nightmare.
Young girl came in and they were all over her and the car. No wonder it's so expensive the worst service I've ever seen . Tyres are on now but the ice cream van is here so all stop again.”
“If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered tyres to be fitted today to be advised when I arrived that they had not been delivered yet. If you are going to advise customers that their tyres will be available then please make sure that they are or at least have the decency to contact customers to delay their appointment (and perhaps don’t allow bookings until delivery confirmed). Not only did I have a wasted 30 minute journey but also wasted fuel and my own time which is precious. Needless to say I asked for a refund and will never return to kwik fit for anything in the future.”
“Took my vehicle for an mot yesterday in wellingborough. It sailed through its mot last year with no advisories. I returned to the garage to be told it had failed with 6 major faults and 2PAGES of ADVISORIES!! I have only driven the vehicle 1500 miles since last year..I immediately took it to another garage and when they saw the list( they had previously done a little work on my vehicle), they couldn't believe it and stated they had never seen anything like it. Needless to say they are going to re mot it next week!! The mechanic even stated that some of the advisories didn't even make sense..avoid at all costs.”
“I booked my car MOT for 23rd June month ago. Today I have been told we cannot do MOT on 23rd as we don't have MOT equipment till 24th June. I requested to get it done early. Mechanics was adamant to do it only on 24th. I explained that its my daughter's 5th Birthday and I committed her so I don't want to ruin my day waiting whole day and also asked what do you mean you don't have MOT equipment at branch. It's bizarre for me. Finally I gave up raised a complaint at head office and booked my MOT with Halford in short notice without having any trouble. Guys please don't use Kwik-Fit staff is so abusive and rude. They don't value Customer so we shouldn't value them. Please shop around many others will provide better service in cheaper prices. All the best.”
