Kwik Fit Kendal. I would give minus figures if I could! Absolute CHAOS - cars everywhere - blocking the main road - no one really knew what was going on! Booked in for MOT (and a prior appointment to fix two necessary things I knew it needed). Was told they had no record of the booking! Because they didn't have time to sort the problem, MOT couldn't take place. Appointment was at 10.30 and I was only told at 2pm that nothing could be done! I don't live in Kendal. A wasted day! DO NOT be fooled by low prices. The stress of it won't be with it! Am still awaiting a refund which I'm sure I'll have to chase up!

Nightmare company to deal with who have wasted my time, been unprofessional, unreliable and made continous problems for me instead of resolving them over the last 18 months. Do not use Kwik Fits services. I have been given 2 faulty batteries by them within 18 months. I have had to have 2 emergency call outs to restart my car. The very batteries they have fitted I was informed were incorrect and ill fitted and would not pass anMOT failure according to several external car mechanics. Centre Managers do not call you back. Customer Services do not call you back. Customer services assure you they have spoken with Centre Managers, yet when you arrive they tell you no such conversation has taken place. What a joke. I have had bad experiences in 2 centres in London and 1 in Oxford. There is a 15 minute average wait at every centre which always seems to be under staffed and without reception cover. Also Customer Services put you on hold for 15 minutes. This is not just one Centre it is an organisational incompetency and unprofessionalism. I will not be stepping foot in their doors ever again.

Took my car for MOT and they failure the mot because the DPF was cat into 2 to be cleaned with dpf cleaner and jet wash , the DPF have a zigzag shape that is why it was split into 2 too be properly cleaned Job was perfectly done, DPF became just like new So what is the purpose of a DPF , it’s to catch smoke, so they could see what there was no smoke coming out of the exhaust that means that the DPF is there but they still failed the MOT And they take far too long to do a mot like 1 hours , they are too slow and useless , won’t recommend to anyone

Kwik Fit Melton Mowbray carried out my major service and MOT last year. Hideously expensive and a long list of recommendations for work they wanted to carry out. Subsequently I was forced off the road by an HGV and caused damage to a wheel. Kwik Fit Melton said I would have to buy a new wheel and quoted nearly £500. I asked them if this really was the only option and met a stone wall of silence. So I made some enquiries and found a small, independent garage in Melton which was able to repair the wheel for £85! I received my Kwik Fit MOT reminder recently and instead went to a local garage who gave me a courtesy car, a major service and MOT and fitted two new tyres, advising me that though there were a couple of advisories I would not need further work till this time next year...and all for well under £500. Honest, helpful and well priced for what was done. I will avoid Kwik Fit in future...the Melton staff were not particularly friendly, don't always answer the phone and certainly want to rack up the bill as high as possible...perhaps they should remember that some women customers do actually understand how the internal combustion engine works, know roughly what needs doing and know absolutely when they are being taken for a financial ride! This centre needs a visit from managers and maybe some inhouse training. Post Covid, people are shopping around and Kwik Fit may well lose a significant number of customers. Shake your ideas up, Kwik Fit!

Very bad they charge too much!! I serviced s same ting for 3.5k Wich dey told was 15k stupid people charge like helll!! And not worth please never ever go for this service very very very bad! Dey jst tll rear cam issue that dis !! Blooodydump people !!!

I am writing this review straight away after returning from the Redhill Kwik-Fit centre. I am not sure how 5 star reviews are given or am I the unlucky one but I'll write it anyways. Where do I start - Firstly I don't believe my vehicle was worked upon straightaway after drop-in as I was around the centre for a few hours and I don't think work was started until noon. I was told I'll be given a call on the repair cost but got a call at 16:15 (centre closes at 5 pm) that some of the spares were incorrectly delivered so could not fix the defects on the car. I am not sure I believe that as it can't be all spares were incorrectly delivered. On the servicing part I again not sure if oil and other things were indeed changed as I checked the oil stick and it's dark as coal. Secondly the checklist document states everything is OK when I know for sure that the suspension coil spring is broken. Looks like a tick box exercise has been undertaken. I had to explicitly ask for a print of the checklist wherein I know that it's a standard print to be provided with the receipt. The staff were not rude but I did not find them the friendliest of the lot but not the main concern. I took my car based on the reviews but completely disappointed and never again will step into a Kwik fit centre ever again. I am raising a formal complain with Kwik fit as I want to know if I was given the service for the amount I paid. I would not recommend this centre.

Turned up bang on time for a tyre fitting 30 mins slot to be told that they'd parked a van in the way of their hoist, so it would be at least 40 mins. Got a phone call after 25mins and returned, to be told they couldn't find the locking nut (usual place!) and it would be another 30 mins minimum. I didn't have another 30 mins, left and tried to contact customer services. Forget it - 40 mins and counting on hold. Kwik? Definitely not Quick. Go elsewhere.

got 4 new tyers mid rance and had to keep buting aire in like 1 a week realy bad tyers and the tyer lining i pay for was not don so stay a way from kwik fit

Had two visits to the Dumfries branch, was asked to return again on a third visit before I could get a price to replace my exhaust and front tyre. I decided to go to a different garage and got sorted with 40 mins. Will not return and certainly won't recommend to anyone

Filled gas in my car and it leaked with in 1 month. took it back and they charged additional £35 to diagnose. Told me to wait for 20 days or alternatively take it to one in Bletchley which will possibly do it quicker. Called them and now they want to diagnose it again since it was not done by 'Master Technician'. when ask why they are diagnosing again. guy promptly said its best to wait for the first branch. Seriously pathetic service. Would avoid as much as possible.

Booked air con recharge for 9.30. Arrived promptly at 9.25. Told it would be ready in an hour. Arrived back at 10.25 to see they had not even started work. 10.35. Just started.

Same old con artists Yet again I'm.left angry. Please replace my front tyre were my instructions. Arrived back to collect car to find it in the air on the ramp. I was told the tracking was out. I didnt ask them to check it. 40 quid for a front wheel and 17 for the rear wheel Absolute con artists. I'm sure they left the car on the ramp for dramatic effect. I'll not using them again. I'm.sure they get away with this on a regular basis with less knowledgable customers. Avoid

Absolutely useless the Nottingham road branch they have 3 lads sitting in the back car park sunning it lad at main reception unable to fix my tyre due to bad back never will go back again this is not the first time I’ve been let down by these this was the last straw as I’m writing this review I’ve got a account with you I’m looking on finding a new company to service the fleet.

Rip off company check online price first before you purchase Had a puncture which was on the side wall so needed a new tyre on my ford fiesta was charged £107 by Kwik Fit Deal Kent which i thought was a bit high but had no option but to pay. When i got home and checked the Kwik internet site the same tyre was being sold including fitting for £80. I have contacted Kwik Fit for an explanation but received no reply. Complete rip off from this company avoid at all cost !!!!

Called for an exhaust quote, 248 pounds and they say it has a cat but it's a diesel (non dpf) when questioned he said well I can see a bulge, called to complain but after being number 1 in the queue for 46 minutes nobody is there - avoid kwik fit entirely, it is broken and so will you be!

After having driven the car to make the online appointment at the branch at 131-137 Broadway West in Ealing, much to my dismay, I was informed by the staff that the air-conditioner recharging machine had broken down yesterday and therefore the work could not be completed. Nobody from Kwik-Fit had the courtesy to inform me and to cancel the appointment. Moreover, I was asked to ring Customer Service to request a refund as the Centre said they could not help arrange that. I rang the number 0800 75 76 77 and was waiting for over 30 minutes with no answer, before finally hanging up in frustration. Very poor service levels from KwikFit contrary to previous experiences .... beware of similar experiences particularly with the West Ealing branch.

The way the supervisor talks to his staff especially the female is beyond disgusting. I will not be back to the Motherwell branch for this reason if Kwik fit condone a male to talk to a female and treat her in a manner which is disgusting and upsetting to its paying customers then I will ne using a company who dont allow it. Its nice to see a female in a male renowned industry and if that is how they treated no wonder its male dominated.

Disappointed, had my wife’s Air-Con booked in for a gas recharge. Picked up the car and noted a background noise that sounded like a fan running at high speed (I assumed this was a engine’s fan cooling due to the high ambient temperature) Didn’t use the vehicle until the following day, as soon as my wife started the car an engine warning light illuminated on the dashboard. I contacted Kwik Fit first thing on the Monday morning and spoke to Dan, Dan insisted the engine warning light / fault had nothing to do with them. He followed his denial up with an engine diagnostic which would cost me £35. Stunned at his attitude, I would have thought the offer of a free diagnosis would have been acceptable, either way I would have most likely had any remedial work done with them. Not now, and I will certainly do all I can to dissuade anyone I know to avoid using Kwik Fit.
