Kwik fit Dorking branch broke my bonnet release then just handed me my car back without telling me or fixing the damage they caused, i realised what they done on filling up for fuel as i went straight to the garage then tried to check my oil i found that i couldn't open my bonnet, they had the car for 3 days in total fitted new brakes then MOT'd the car except no they failed their own work front brake hose leak which they didn't notice ! Put it on the fail cert, just unbelievable really, on top of that when i return to ask them about why the bonnet now doesn't work the manager was rude and totally couldn't care less, just hopeless i wish i had read feedback first, i certainly wouldn't ask them to fix a toaster let alone a car, rubbish !

When I wrang Costomers Services, two separate Numbers, with out saying why, or what, just hung up, is this what they call Customer Service, I will never use them again the Guy's at the tyre centre were brilliant just Head Office had no respect, hanging up it just made me fuming.

Went in for wheel balancing and aligment. Tech says "Pa" your chambers needs to be set. I say all good as we prepping for our holiday and will be towing a luggage trailer. My bill jumped from R300 to R800. When I'm about to leave and ask for the print out of the alignment job and guess what the printout showed that the chambers were fine and didn't need adjustment. After a back and out with them the didnr charge me for the fitious job. Kwik Fit Mitchells Plain.....mense be careful!!!!

Great MOT System in place. The car failed and it needed cv boot, Kwik fit do not do these fixes so I had 10 days to get work done and get free re-test. Work done, booked back in with Kirk fit for re-test 10am next day. Arrive next day , there is another customer in 10am slot they gave me. Shrug shoulders, they say what can they do? Give me my slot I booked in with them day before!!! So I get told to come back in 30 mins. Come back, still doing the 10am slot and I wait, and wait (until 11:30am). I’ve got a life and cannot just sit around waiting in hope. Very unprofessional at BULWELL branch (Joe). Before this I had nothing but praise but with this I feel they had already got my money and a re-test was not high on their list of agendas or priorities. While I waited 3 MOT were finished and paid for 😡

A home visit was booked to replace two tyres on a mobility vehicle and the time frame was stated between 8am and 5.30pm. I am a carer for my three children and so cleared appointments and family had to stay at home all day. I waited in all day and no one had arrived by 5.30. Had to ring Kwik Fit and they told me that they had rebooted for two days time!!!! A phone call would have helped so that I could have replanted the whole day. NO COMMUNICATION

Went In with Michelin tyres came out with low grade tyres that the sensors on the car don't even pick up. Last visit we were told by a worker that the nail in the tyre that was to be taken out was never removed which left us having low pressure in the car alot. He blamed a colleague that was not completing jobs properly.

I had a mobile fitting booked for 8.30am the next day. They emailed at 6.37pm that night to say they wouldn’t be coming. I had made several calls to them over 3 days to try and get it rebooked. They promised they would call and never did. Eventually I asked for a refund as they took the money immediately. It’s been 4 days and they have only just emailed to say they have issued a refund. BAD SERVICE

Ordered and paid for off-road tyres for my work, MOT booked after tyre fitting, Kwikfit van turns up with free V rated tyre upgrade, no off road tyres. How stupid can you get, why would I need to drive 149mph off-road ? With work to do and MOT booked forced to have the tyres fitted and accept a paultry few quid off or lose my pre-paid MOT, and wait to be off the road another week, whilst waiting for another appointment. Total waste of my time, and rinsed for £223.00. Did they know what they were doing, of course they did. Called customer services to complain, told they would call me back. Yes, they know all the tricks, guess what, no call ! They know all the tricks in the book. Wouldn't use Kwikfit ever again, ** WARNING** to others

I was told an hour before my mot appointment that they had to cancel because they had not hired anyone to do the mot. I had booked 3 weeks in advance with less than a week before mot expiry. Their next available slot wasnt until 2 weeks after my expiry. Just gutted they rang me only an hour before the appointment despite book 3 weeks early.

Liars & theives, My daughter came in for two tyres, told she needed wheel alignment at a cost of £59, the tyres on her car were 4mm & worn evenly, been on the car 5 yrs only changing as one had a slow puncture, I'm absolutely disgusted, I though these practices had stopped years ago

Booked my car in for a brake check and was informed that I needed pads and discs all round, this was despite only having had the front pads and discs done by Kwikfit just 6000 miles ago. I was told that I was entitled to free front pads as part of their free pads for as long as I own the car deal… Quote for the work was £384 (remember, free front pads). Booked in the work to be done the same day they were performing my MOT and left. Decided to call another garage for a quote which came back at £345, cheaper than Kwikfit even without the free front pads. Cancelled the booking with KF and booked the independent garage instead. Took my car there yesterday, dropped it off and went into town to kill an hour. Went back only for the mechanic to tell me my rear pads and discs are absolutely fine and my front discs are fine too. The front pads have some life left in them but he recommended they are replaced soon and that they seemed inferior compared to the rear (original) pair. I should point out that my car has only done a total of 24k miles, I’m not a boy racer, don’t drive hard and most of my miles are from dual carriageways! I am disappointed and disgusted with KF for this, for trying to rip me off. I have been a customer for a long time and have had brakes/tyres/services/MOTs done there with my previous vehicle as well as my current car. I have now cancelled my MOT, I would rather pay another company/garage £15 more for that than spend another penny with these rip off merchants ever again!!!

Kwik fit ardleigh green road, hornchurch My husband took my car in to the above workshop on Friday 24th as We were told that we would need 3 new tyres, new breaks, also 2 parts of the exhaust would have to be replaced those parts being the middle & the back end. The tyres where done that day & the car was rebooked in on Monday 27th for the rest of the repairs to be completed. On the Monday when my husband took the car back in he questioned about the exhaust because we hadn't had any trouble or noise coming from it, plus it was also booked in for a service on Friday 1st October with Peugeot in Romford so we thought it might be best for them to look at it then. Then Strangely after the staff member was questioned about the exhaust parts, by my husband we were then told there wasn't actually anything wrong with the exhaust at all & it certainly didn't need anything new as it was actually fine, which I find very odd because if an exhaust needed changing on a Friday then it would still need those two parts changing on the Monday? but in this case by Monday it was complete fine & seemed to have magically repaired itself. The Breaks were completed and I picked the car up myself only to find that inside the centre console everything was tipped out & my sons wallet had £30 missing from it, I hadn't driven my car in between the tyres being changed & the breaks being done so it hadn't been noticed by my husband that anything was missing as he wasn't aware the wallet was in there otherwise he would have taken it out before the car was left, although to be perfectly honest you should be able to leave something in your car without it being stolen, especially as you can see it's a child's wallet, a little Star Wars one, with his go Henry card in it and also an ID card that has his photo on it kind of gives it away. The only people to go in there were the tyre fitters and the other mechanics to take out the locking wheel Nut and put it back I called my husband straight away who then called the workshop and spoke to the manager who insisted that the boy who worked on the car that day would not have taken anything as he was a trusted member of staff. To be fair the money could have been taken by the tyre fitter because I wasn't using the car so it only got noticed when I picked the car up myself. My husband was really angry when he first called, but then called back and apologised & spoke calmly, and the person on the phone still said that the person who had worked on the breaks was a very trusted member of staff, my husband said that there clearly was no way of proving anything so it would just have to be left. That money was 100% taken, it was stolen from 12 year old child, so who ever took it should be extremely ashamed of themselves as my son has been saving up for a football kit with his pocket money. I hope they are proud of themselves, it's absolutely disgusting & a lowlife thing to do to anyone. my car was then serviced on 1/10/21 I was actually shocked when they called me to tell me my car was ready BUT also explained that they had found my back drivers side tyre had been put on the put on inside out, yes inside out/back to front even showing us when we got there that it clearly states on the tyre "INSIDE" which should be on the inside not on the outside, how does something like that happen, it should be just a standard simple job, it even states on the tyre which part would go on the inside. Maybe if that person wasn't trying to be so dishonest saying my car needed expensive works doing that it didn't, also paying more attention to the work they should be doing and not what money had been mistakenly left by my little boy In the centre console then the job would have been done correctly. After this incident my doubt is with the person who said that exhaust needed two new parts, but when question it didn't need doing, maybe if it had been just one part that they thought needed changing then someone else looked at and said that it was actually ok, it may have just been a mistake but in this instance the person was very specific explaining the "two" parts needed renewing, only for nothing to be wrong with it at all. I will not be going back to this branch and would certainly not encourage anyone else to use this branch as I actually can't not believe how dishonest & untrustworthy some staff members are, they lie, try & cheat you out of with made up repairs, steal and can't even put a tyre on the right way round, I think my catalytic converter would have probably got the person a nice bonus selling it on knowing there was nothing wrong with it at all, putting it through the workshop!!! If you do go there or have your car booked in there, question the works, even get a second opinion if possible and make sure you don't leave anything in there as it certainly won't be there when you go back.

Critical: Professionalism My wife's car went in for a mot failed on o/front brake pipe and two font tyres under inflated wait a min is this not a tyre company all the other faults where advisery. Now most garages would have replaced brake pipe and put air in the tyres not this manager he wanted to re book test at an extra cost of £27 after paying £45 for test after asking about tyres needing air he said to me I did not do the test very abrupt and maybe needs some sort of customer relations course also find it very funny that nothing but 5***** reviews on here anyway will never be back to Kwik fit just a money making serviced

ery poor and unprofessional approach to work. I had my car serviced from them last year at Ripple Road East London. Been going to main dealer before that. next day i started hear a banging noise from front, very annoying noise specially when car was stationary. turned out to be air filter box, which they removed badly and then could not fix it back properly and it was making loud vibration sounds. went back to them and after checking their mechanic said to me its a wear and tear, it happens, i told him i have been going to main deader for this car for 4 years, it was not a wear n tear there why here, he eventually tried to fix it with a double side tape but within 2 days noise started again. I had to go the main dealer to get that fixed. Also, the cover sheet thats under the bonnet, a bif black cover sheet, they removed it obviously to change the oil etc, but did not fix it back properly, few days after the service when i went to another garage to get new tyres, there i noticed half of the sheet was hanging because they did not put all the screw back. i requested that garage person to put screws in there. but because they were not meant for that sheet, the sheet is half broken now. overall it has been very poor experience and i am sure I will not be going to kwik fit for any of my motor needs. They should actually change their name to Kwikly Destoyed. dont save your money save your car. go somewhere else.

Had car booked in for service at Bromsgrove tomorrow, got a call the day before that they could no honour the booking. Offered an alternative week, that was not workable due to my work commitments. Rang service centre to get a refund as prepaid. On phone for half an hour no response. Went into centre and asked if they could swap the booking to another centre. They said no they couldn't. Rang other centre, very helpful, booking changed, no issue.

After previous poor service delivery at Kwik-Fit Brentwood I decided to avoid Kwik-Fit where I can. But when my daughter's car had a puncture on a Sunday and Kwik-Fit being open I thought I give it try again and see how it would go this time. So I brought the tire over and I asked them to repair the tire. After inspection they tell me the tire cannot be repaired, I have to buy a new one (around £120). I knew for certain the tire could be repaired, so I declined and left. The next day I brought it to my regular mechanic (PA Autos Billericay, excellent service, good price!) and he fixed it for £12. Do I need say more?

Kwik-fit Daybrook Nottingham. Did not show proof of change of oil as this caused the timing chain to fail on motorway covering only 1000 miles from the time of enhanced service including oil change. The garage that repaired the car findout that there was no engine oil at the time and no leakages from the engine. Complained to operations Manager for Daybrook Kwik-fit and was very dismissive defending staff and not willing to take responsibility telling me that my car was an old car (2011 Mercedes Benz). I paid £512 and went through this within 6Months from the time of service.
