World beating poor service. A nightdresses I ordered and paid for never arrived, in its place a pillowcase turned up! I've been waiting for 3 weeks for La Redoute to get Hermes to collect this unwanted, unordered pillowcase... nothing. I'd like to be refunded for the item I didn't receive, but apparently that's not possible until the pillowcase is returned, computer says no! Hermes meanwhile, likewise not known for good service seems pathologically unable to collect the thing on the arranged day. I've made four attempts to get this thing collected via La Redoute, each time laboriously going through the paperwork over the phone, being assured Hermes will turn up at the appointed time and still nothing. La redoute are effectively withholding my money. It's baffling how their service can be this appalling.

Took over 4 weeks to deliver, will never use this company again........if you need anything is less than 4 weeks suggest you shop elsewhere. Tried to post feed back on their website but thet vet feedback and will not publish negative comments.

First time purchasing from La Redoute and I'd ordered the Waska dining table. There was a minor delay in delivery (4days) which I was warned about via email. 2 weeks laters the table arrived via Panther couriers who also commuincated with me about the delivery for the 48hours prior to delivery. Very well packaged, in fact sooooooo much packaging. Thus item was pristine, undamaged and didn't take me long to assemble. Great quality too, SOLID! Very happy with the whole experience.

I ordered a brown winter coat and it arrived in a few days. It was on offer from £100 to £60 and I love the item. :)

I found the choice of products offered is good, not huge but good. Homeware and clothes from la redoutte and was pleased with it. However they still charge delivery fee for all orders which is so usually free for at least large orders.Ridiculous! Plus all the items of the delivery don't arrive together, hmm bit disappointing. Please give free delivery for orders above say 50£ which is a common norm now.

Ordered bedside tables, waited around 8 weeks then received the wrong product Rang them to try to resolve the issue and was charged £35 as the line charges you, even when you are waiting to get through. Recordered the product and this time they have ‘lost’ one of them?!?!?! Do not buy from this retailer they are totally useless and their customer care is horrendous

Diabolical service. Delays in sending out my order. A cushion cover! no correspondence. Never again will I use or recommend this company. Would have given no stars if that had been an option. They were happy to take my money of course!

I am disgusted with the service I have received from La Redoute. I was offered the credit account as I checked out, I wasn't told that using a credit account would meanI would have to wait a week to receive a confirmation code in the post. I had to call in with the code, I was told it would be dispatched and reach me within 7-10 days. Its now 7 days later and my order still hasn't been dispatched, I called in to cancel the order as I cant wait for it anymore and will have to buy my baby a coat locally instead. I held on the phone waiting to get through for 29 mins. The lady that picked up was extremely unsympathetic and impolite and when I said I cant wait any longer for the delivery and would like to cancel, SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! HOW RUDE!!!! I'M DISGUSTED. STAY AWAY!! ALL THEY PROVIDE IS AGGRAVATION!

I ordered an expensive storage trunk, it didn't arrive. When I called customer service, which I had to wait 25 minutes to get through (on a paid for number), they told me that the delivery company had damaged the item. However, I could buy it again but wouldn't get a refund for the existing item until it was back with them, meaning they would have £500 of my money and I still wouldn't have the item. It's now over a week, I haven't had a refund, I still don't have any item and the email I received from them after a complaint, was a standard response. Very poor service, I would avoid using La Redoute, especially if you are purchasing expensive items.

Purchased a bed from them, the bed base came and was built very poorly. It looked good, but when put together realised it had no slats, just three flimsy pine cross bars. This meant the mattress collapsed through the bottom. On the second night one of the crossbars broke, so now the bed is useless. Customer support has not been good, rude and dismissive.

I have ordered a mirror at the end of June (my first purchase from La Redoute) and i received a completely different mirror. After a few attempts via email and website I have talked to a representative who said she will handle the exchange. Indeed, i have received the original mirror that I have ordered along with the new bill request. Again, after few emails and WhatsApp i was told i need to pay the new bill for the same amount without actually refunding what I have already paid initially. After back and forth I received my refund two weeks later. New bill was sent without any payment information so yet through another line of WhatsApp communication i have received the IBAN number to make the payment to. Overall, the purchase of one mirror for 135 francs cost me 1.5 months of constant back and forth just to get my original purchase. I can understand sending the wrong item but everything else that happened is not professional. I have asked initially to speak to someone and all i got was WhatsApp messages during 1.5 months. It was my first and last purchase at La Redoute.

I ordered a linen vest from them. It took 2weeks to arrive at the click and collect address. Very happy with the style, quality and colour. Love this top.

Still awaiting a refund for some curtains we returned. It is now 3 weeks since we returned curtains via Hermes and despite sending pictures of the returns slip with barcode as requested we have not received a further response or refund of our money. In addition to this our order was split into separate deliveries and we receive little to no communication about when we will actually receive the remaining products ordered (which have been paid for). Communication just seems to be somewhat lacking.

They delivered damaged goods and for months were unable to resolve the issue nor make a refund. Customer service promised to send the damaged goods again but it never happened. Instead they kept lying that my order is "on the way". I was super patient (I appreciate the disruption that corona virus made) and waited almost 2 months (yes I mean TWO MONTHS) and guess what, no delivery, nobody bothered to even reply to my multiple messages. This company is a joke!

I have just received an order of children’s summer clothing. It is the first time I have used a La Redoute. The items are lovely. Excellent quality materials, and I particularly love the styles and designs. Very child friendly. The items are all really comfortable and it looks to be durable too. My only criticism is that the sizing appears to be quite small. My daughter is a petite age 6 and I’m not sure we’re going to get a huge amount of wear in terms of sizing. Also, the items did take over two weeks to reach us. Understandable with the current situation but slower than other companies.

i applied for a credit account but was refused. and their excuse was they could not identify me at my home address through the credit reference agencies. i contacted all 3 credit agencies who told me they do NOT understand why i was told that i could not be identified when i am on the electoral register. and have been for many years. so this was a LIE by La Redoute. i have an asian name by the way. i then used my moms name (my mom is english) name to apply for a credit account. and got accepted straight away. even though my mother has NEVER lived in this area. or even at my address. so therefore was NOT on the electoral register either. cut a long story short . . . i ordered goods in my mothers name. and paid them off. a while after i then get accepted an account. but when i explain to them (after being honest) that i opened an account before in my mothers name, paid it off, and then told them my asian i was then being treated differently. i then had an issue of logging in to my account. of course La Redoute caused this problem themselves for me. i complained about this. but no joy. and their response was (in other words) go to the ombudsman. and that is what i will now be diong. if you are a black or asian person? do NOT bother with these types of people

We ordered a marble shelving unit.....that arrived with a broken shelf. We called to ask for a replacement, we had to re-order then wait on a refund for the damaged item. The shelves have just turned up unbroken this time...... the only problem being they have sent the wrong shelves now! My advice......avoid!
