“good laptop, good price, paid extra for next day delivery but received text saying it would be delayed by a week despite their website stating it is still available for next day. after phoning them and complaining and asking for my delivery charge to be refunded they then promised to deliver within 2 days, which they did.”

“Purchased 2 laptops for my children at £1350 each in black friday deal, was very happy with the price as before and after the black friday deal they were £200 more each. I decided to pay an extra £50 per laptop for them to create recovery drives (£20) and for them to install all critical updates and carry out a full system check to make sure there are no manufacture issues (£30). I also paid extra for Saturday delivery as i work in the week. The laptops seem to be fine and my children are happy, however i feel their customer service is very poor and can imagine them being very difficult to deal with should a problem occur. The reason for me sating this is i had a couple of issues for me to complain about. The 1st being that i got notification on a thursday from the courier company that they would deliver them the following day on the friday, but i had paid for saturday delivery, i tried to ring but never managed to get through, i endedbup emailing them, and hqd to take the day off work as i did not want them sat around in the back of a couriers van over the weekend. When they finally replied to my email, it just said that they had closed my complaint as they could see that they had dealt with my issue, so i tried ringing again but still could not get through so sent yet another email. The second reply just said sorry my item was not instock and would send when restocked and they refunded my postage. So they clearly hadnt read my email. My second complaint was regarding the testing, as i dont believe they tested them, there were still critical updates avaliable which were meant to be installed, and the tick/check list, said that both the optical drive and the webcam test satisfactory on both laptops this rang alarm bells as neither laptop has a webcam or optical drive so how could they have tested satisfactory. They ignored this part of my complaint three times so i have given up, and feel cheated on this element of thier service. Although the laptops were a good price and do actually work fine, i would not use them ever again due to their very poor performance and customer service.”

“Ordered a PS5 disk edition bundle, bundle was around £200 over priced if you take in yo account RRP for each item but with the trouble there has been even finding a PS5 in stock, I ordered it, paid just £10 delivery and it was with me less than 24 hours later, on Christmas Eve. I was kept in the loop with updates on deliver and to me it was worth the extra money to have it so quickly and be done with the stress of looking. Currently no issues with any of the items.”

“got to be honest am always suspicious of buying off websites i haven had dealings with. But Due to circumstances i was a bit stuck,so spoke to operative who assured me i would receive the goods tomorrow, Christmas eve.Didnt believe him but 9.30 the next morning the product arrived. Brilliant Service and true to their word.Price was competitive as well Would use again.”

“I bought a monitor from this company in November 2020 and paid using Paypal. They send the monitor to a wrong address and refuse to take responsibility for their mistake. I am £140 out of pocket I do not have the monitor I paid for and Laptop Direct refuses to correct their mistake. I even went to the address they claim they have sent the monitor to but IT IS AN EMPTY PROPERTY, NOBODY LIVES THERE, where they delivered my monitor I do not know but certainly not to my address or any other address. This was the first time I purchased an item from this company and will be the lost. I think paying a few extra pound and buying whatever you need from a reputable company would be a better option. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER. KEEP YOUIR MONEY SAFE AND SPEND IT SOMEWHERE ELS.”
