Lied from the very start. They stated that the item was in their stock and took payment in full including an extra 10.00 for tracked next day delivery. They sent three emails, received, processing and dispatched (you can't cancel after dispatch) within 1 hour. They then informed me that they couldn't provide tracking as it was coming direct from one of their suppliers (so the item was not in their stock as advertised). Of course the item did not arrive the next day, so a day of work wasted waiting in. I complained only to be told that it was now definitely on its way and would be with me the next day. You guessed it, of course it didn't arrive. I again complained saying I was very suspicious of the whole process only to be told they could not supply the item but would arrange an alternative. Not good enough. So not believing a word they now said I raised a dispute with Paypal who put the payment on hold. There was then a flurry of emails saying that they would cancel the order within 24 hrs and that they would then process a refund at their convenience. However Paypal state that you must not close a dispute until the money has been refunded and is in your account because once closed the dispute cannot be re opened and you are at the mercy of shysters like Laptops Direct. From the start Laptops Direct have lied, deceived and attempted to dupe me out of my money. Thankfully I was aware of the rule about closing a PayPal dispute without having received my refund and will at least be able to claim through their consumer protection scheme. Remember if you are asked by a seller to close a PayPal dispute you have raised to enable them to "process the refund" they are lying. You must not close the dispute until the money is back in your account as PayPal will no longer be able to help if you do.

Brand new item sold however the HP tool says warranty expired three monhs ago :( no driver updates and I was refunded only the 70% as 20% restocking fee and the shipping costs ... .this is a rip-off - not sure where to complaint JUST STAY AWAY FROM XXXDIRECT site

Horrible experience! I made an order but because of a misunderstanding I cancelled the order. The lady on the phone was really rude and she did not even try to help and get me into trouble. This is one of the worst experince I have ever had.

Awful experience. They blatantly lied to me on the phone. Lied to me in email. Now I'm going to have to bring them to court to get a refund. Avoid like the plague. Wouldn't stand over their free delivery policy plastered all over their website. Accidentally canceling order and delaying everything by nearly a week. Misleading no quibble returns policy. Charging £200 to return an item. Blatantly telling me the wrong terms in email, telling me untruths over the phone.

Ordered a laptop that was "In Stock" and paid extra for rapid delivery 1-2 business days to Dublin. 6 days later no laptop, item not dispatched on order summary and no replies at all from them. If you are thinking about ordering from them DON'T, go anywhere else it will be quicker and less painful!

I Ordered for laptop with windows and McAfee asked for next day delivery which did not happen fair enough they reimbursed my delivery charge but that was not the point I wanted next day delivery which I was assured. placed an order 3. May two weeks down the line the couriers seem to have lost the package and have sent laptop direct a claims form but for some reason I can not seem to get my money reimbursed after many call to the couriers and Laptop direct. I never received my order it got misplaced or something all i am doing is asking for my money back so I carry on with my Business but this has not happened as yet lost out 2weeks of work.. still waiting. Never again i do not recommend

Ordered laptop Saturday morning, with 2-4 working days delivery. No updates on my account about my order until I email them 4 days later. No reply - just the status of my order on my account has changed to "Awaiting stock"...what a shambles. I am cancelling tomorrow if these other reviews are anything to go by I will save myself the time and agro of being lied to.

Sales team adviced me to buy on Friday before 8p.m. to get delivery next day (saturday) for an extra charge, I went to buy it, had to rush to get home early, when I got home website told me it can only be delivered on saturday after, or during the week.. O.K. I have chosen to get it delivered during a week. but then, I have received email from them monday at 15:59 (they are closing at 4): Thank you for your order: "We regret to inform you that part of your order is no longer available from our suppliers. Occasionally we will experience a time delay on product information, whereby a manufacturer will no longer have stock and will discontinue a product before we are able to update our systems". And the item is still on sale on their website!! What the hell is going on with them??? Time wasters!!!

Don't buy from them,useless customer service,cancelled my delivery twice(delivery 19,96£). Took a day off to wait for the delivery only to receive an email that is cancelled again. On their website for the laptop that I ordered says in stock available immediately but once I bought it they said they have only one in stock and that the logo is peeling off so I have to wait for the new one.They called to confirm the new one coming today and now I got an email that is cancelled again.

My television was 'lost' by DHL. Laptops direct should replace under consumer protection legislation but they are insisting that I wait until DHL has carried out exhaustive searching. So Laptops Direct has my money and Gave no TV

I bought hp envy laptop, which costs about 900€, and guess what... after two weeks it crashed. okey, shit happens i thought, i sent my laptop to them, but after 7months it is still briken somewhere in england

I'm sorry I didn't see this site before I bought from them. I did eventually get my tablet but the Customer Service Team are probably the worst I have ever dealt with. They didn't deal with my complaint at all, not sure where they got their training, I presume they are self-taught because they don't even have the basic understanding of how to deal with customers. The item was cheaper but next time I will use Amazon!

After sales non existent. Unhelpful useless waste of time and money. You cannot even speak to a manager. I have told them to keep the cctv and my money because I can no longer deal with their incompetent staff.

sent a faulty computer took far too long to rectify problem then ended up with refund eventually, i would recommend you avoid and go to high st comapny

Faulty monitor. Spoke to LG who confirmed it was faulty and provided a reference. Sought to raise a return with this company and their "customer services" was absolutely appalling, right to their "Management" level (a guy called Asif). They "partner" with Which and so an image is created that they can be trusted. They can't; and I will make a complaint to Which. I got the distinct impression that if you let them they will take you for a ride (28 days for them to refund the £1000!!!) and they want to check the monitor themselves. Well that is their right; but if there is a dispute, LG the manufacturers, have said it is faulty and to return it. Rather check with LG via the reference, I was concerned this was dismissed and they said they would do there own tests???!!! They were clearly concerned when I said I would make Which aware of this experience.

EVERYTHING IS WRONG! Please do not buy anything from here just because its cheap. They have a terrible service. I was given a delivery date of 3-5 working days and now it has been 15 days and I am still waitig for my order. This is ridiculous. They never sent me an apology for the delay. Nobody answers the call. Or even replies to my email. I am 95% sure that I have been scammed. This company is a fraud and please save your time and money and purchase from a trusted website. Spending £700 on this site has been this buggest mistake of my life.
