Since 2018 Leon Cycle has been operating within Australia and New Zealand, providing quality and affordable e-bikes under our brands "ET Cycle" and "NCM".

We offer E-Trekking, E-MTB, E-Cruiser and E-Folding bikes and Conversion kits for everyone in Australia and New Zealand. We are quite diversified and offer both rear- and mid-motor engines, whether from our own design (Das-Kit) or from established brands such as Bafang.

“Manager Leon Cycles. Mr Rigoli. Dear Sir. My name is Lance Carroll, I live in Launceston Tasmania and over the last few months I have been dealing on behalf of my grandson with one of you employees, namely Shane Kenneth. My grandson has an Aspen Moscow Ebike which has required parts only obtainable from your firm. My dealings with Shane have been more than satisfactory. I know nothing of electric bikes yet Shane has patiently taken the time with me explaining what the problem is with my grandsons’ bike and organising to send what he considers required to rectify the problems. We all complain when we don’t receive good service or salespeople fob you off, yet we neglect to say thanks when we receive service with a smile. I have always been of the belief that we should also acknowledge those who provide good service, hence this email. I don’t know if you have personal files on your employees in regards to how thy conduct themselves and to better your business. If you do then I request that you place a copy of this in Shane’s file for future references. i.e., promotion, etc? I would also ask you to personally congratulate Shane on receipt of this email. “Bought two NCM bikes, Milano plus & ET Cycle T 1000 and both are great bikes and very reliable. Batteries have an excellent range with a huge 1008 Watt hours. Very happy with my purchase and the NCM agent( Clycycles )Auckland NZ are very professional and well priced in the New Zealand ebike market. Well done 👏 Stefan”

“Totally impressed with every aspect of this purchase. Our two bikes appear extremely well made; their frames are rigid, the entire list of components are of very high quality. On the road, the Milanos are easy to ride, the power assist delivers power smoothly and without any hesitation. I cannot fault the bikes in any way; they represent outstanding value for money and will carry us for a great many kilometres.”

“recently i received a Hamburg28 etrekking bicycle, promptly delivered considering a regional location. small issue with transport damage (headset lock ring received a knock in transport stopping me from inserting the stem) was sorted quickly and effortlessly by the team at Leon Cycle, sending a replacement. NCM and Leon Cycle have delivered a great value product and after a few rides on mixed terrain using various levels of electric assistance the Hamburg28 has performed well, the bike unassisted runs well, and the setup of the frame to my fit (186cm long limbs short torso) has been easy despite the change to an upright riding position from many years on road bikes in a forward racing/touring position. very comfortable saddle and suspension. many colleagues at my workplace are now seriously considering entering the ebike world as an alternative to purchasing a micro-car, so i'm pleased to have taken the plunge with Leon Cycle and the Hamburg28. the groupset drive train is proven Shimano Tourney 7speed, all that is needed for this setup. Tekro disc brakes are effective, Zoom suspension forks are compliant and direct in the steering. DasKit electrics are straightforward and solid. Schwable Marathon was a real drawcard as a stock tyre, as i have used for many years on my touring bike in 32mm form, here in 38mm the tyres perform as expected and roll extremely well given the extra load of the electric components. DasKit motor and controller show little lag in the assistance, pull solidly on the flat and uphill inclines and finding variant options to pedaling effort has been enjoyable on the long 20+km rides at ave 25km/h+ that i am doing commuting to and from work and appointments in town and on open rural roads. so far the battery has been growing in performance with each charge as expected. the pannier rack accommodates my ortlieb panniers well and is solid under load. i look forward to many many more enjoyable km's around my region and arriving to work in mostly office wear (except for bi-knicks, tights and shoes) unaffected by the 45mins ride. thanks again NCM & Leon Cycles :)”
