Poor... they do not reply to emails, took over 3 months to assess my bike after I was reversed into by a van, then wrote it off, could have all been completed within days rather than months.

I am beyond frustrated with Lexham Insurance. This has been without a doubt the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I’ve been trying for over a week to cancel my policy and get in touch with someone from the cancellation team, but each time I’ve called, I’ve been put on hold for hours—literally hours! I even took the entire day off work today, January 31st, just to resolve this issue, but still no luck. To make matters worse, I’ve had a stolen bike on a full comprehensive policy, and not only did I never receive compensation, but the excess fee wasn’t clearly communicated to me. I was also never offered an interim bike while mine was stolen, which just adds to the disappointment. On top of all that, I’m now being charged daily storage fees for a bike that was found and is sitting in the pound. This feels like a complete scam. I’ve already filed a complaint, but it’s like no one cares. I’ve provided a police report, yet they still won’t cancel my policy from the date of the theft. Instead, I’m being dragged through this nightmare with no resolution in sight. If you’re considering Lexham Insurance, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I cannot stress enough how terrible this experience has been. Worst decision I’ve ever made. Save yourself the hassle and choose a company that actually cares about its customers. Would give zero stars if I could.

My son who was 19 years old at the time took out insurance on his 125 scooter and then decided he didn't feel safe on the road and sold it, so the insurance was cancelled. A cancellation fee was issued. So I informed Lexham of the situation and they said that it was actually a loan, we don't recall seeing a loan we do recall seeing a quote for vehicle insurance, and I'm sure when you take out a loan your not offered the opportunity to cancel. So it was paid off as we were concerned that if we cancelled the direct debit, this would affect his credit rating. As far as I'm concerned this is another large greedy company playing the system and the government allows this as its all taxed.

DO NOT USE!!! I used Lexham insurance, and I had my moped stolen after less than 2 months of owning the vehicle. Not only could I not claim a penny back, but after cancelling my policy after the police couldn't do anything about it, I then had to pay £199.16 for the privilege of having my vehicle stolen. Do not use these thieves at any cost.

Cancelled my policy shortly after issuing, at great cost, £270 paid, refunded 90 for about a months cover, would not recommend this company at all, a terrible experience

I don’t like this insurance. I put insurance online because they in a few week doesn’t ask any documents. They ask later it’s means after 1 month I got mail on my phone. They cancelled my insurance. When police officer stopped until I got 6 points my license. I didn’t like this insurance company.

A friend of mine recently had a troubling experience with Lexham Insurance. Their customer service representative, Saim, allegedly told my friend they must close their food delivery account to avoid the cancellation of their third-party social insurance policy. This seems suspicious, so we reviewed the policy terms, but there was no mention of such a requirement. Furthermore, there appears to be no legal basis for this demand. To make matters worse, after raising concerns and asking for clarification, Lexham has completely stopped responding to his calls. This avoidance feels like an attempt to dodge accountability, which is highly unprofessional. Ignoring customers only serves to erode trust and credibility. If this request is legitimate, Lexham must provide clear evidence from their policy terms or legal justification for their actions. If not, they need to immediately reverse the policy cancellation or refund my friend’s money in full. Consumers deserve fairness, transparency, and respect—not to be left chasing answers while their livelihood is at stake. Lexham, you cannot treat your customers like this and expect to escape accountability. Either resolve this matter properly, or be prepared to face legal action or other formal consequences.

Absolutely shocking insurance company they will randomly cancel ur policy when they feel like it then chase u for money they are even saying my partner owes money from a date and year that she never even had a bike or cbt

I applied for insurance for my motorcycle. I then decided to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period. I tried calling and was told the cancellation department could call back, it could be in 2 to 3 days! I then emailed my cancellation. This has now taken nearly two weeks. Out of the £141 I paid as a deposit, I was told I would get a refund of £12.40 even though I cancelled two days after starting. Lexham can keep it! Would I recommend Lexhams! Not a chance.
