Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“Purchased policy through go compare opted for fully comprehensive paid deposit first premium to be taken approx 3 weeks taken at 2 causing charge for being overdrawn. Policy is third party fire and theft do not understand how this has happened.”

“Have been getting multiple quotes online which originally I didn't go through with, shortly afterwards I missed a phone call from an Lexham agent who left a voicemail asking to call back. I called back with the number provided and got put through to a different agent who didn't know what the call was about as there was no context in the voicemail; they assumed it was a 'courtesy call' by their colleague as I had been getting quotes online. This annoyed me alot as I had gone out of my way to call back, but ended up wasting time as it transpired there was no real purpose to it (assumably other than to make a sale). Later I purchased a policy online. After this I again missed another call from the same agent as before, with almost identical voicemail (Why? I already purchased a policy..). No, I won't call back now I know it'll be a waste of my time.”

“I am pleased with the insurance offer despite some difficulties as the computer system broke down and I was several times on hold, which was rather expensive as I was calling from Germany. I also requested to have the insurance details send to my email which I have not received until now. George, who dif finalise my insurance was very helpful but I would very much appreciate if I could receive an online proof of my insurance.”

“Very friendly staff and great customer service. Cheap on insurance and would recommend them to anyone. Would be even better if you were to ring insurance holders every 2-3 month to let for further feedback and also to let them know about renewal price once insurance runs out.”
