Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“The people I spoke to were all helpful and really well mannered. however. there were a few occasions where I had several calls in one day from people who had not spoken to other team members or hadn't opened notes. In one instance this led to me being called by one of the team who told me I was uninsured and was going to be charged a higher rate. Both of which were untrue but took 2 phone calls of around 25minutes to resolve. Molly was helpful and seemed to be very switched on. The other members of the team less so. Ultimately, it just took too long and too many calls.”

“Overall excellent experience. Originally insured my 125 for a reasonable price, upgraded to a 600 halfway through the year (which ended up being quite expensive). That being said, my bike was stolen in August, and 3 weeks later I received a payout. In general the staff at Lexham were great, and the staff I spoke to at Marble Arch (insurance providers) were so friendly and helpful. Minus half a = star for the ridiculous 'industry standard' fees for changing details, and the rude staff I dealt with when I first called up to make a claim on the 24 hour hotline.”

“Lexham offered to insure my new Aprilia for £600 fully comp today, my previous insurer were offering me quotes of £2,500 TPFT! Why would you want to go anywhere else? I work in the bike industry and will be fully recommending Lexham from now on. Shame there isn't a cuddly toy heading my way though ;)”
