“The buying process for my electric bike insurance went very smoothly, where my home insurance wouldnt cover the bike. The agent was very cheerful, friendly and helpful, explaining things twice when necessary, taking time to make sure we went over all the details. Insurance seems very realistic: they do require you to take maximum responsibility for your bike, but to be honest, i think thats just sensible. Pricing seems very reasonable for peace of mind. Having just bought this insurance, i can't comment on what will happen if i need to make a claim.”

“I was sent an aggressive letter from Lexham requesting evidence of no claims. I did not know at the time of contract that this was a requirement. It appears on the face of it that you were quick to take payment and slow to take details. If I was asked for this evidence then it was buried in the small print. I called Lexham and supplied the details and hope it is now resolved. Your methods appear questionable and possibly unprofessional.”

“I've been with Lexham for a year now and have taken out a further years insurance through Lexham. I cannot fault anything. There was an issue getting my no claims bonus from my previous insurance company and so my premium was increased for the year. As soon as I received my no claims bonus Lexham couldn't have made it any easier to add it to my current insurance and to give me the no claims bonus discount. Unfortunately I had an accident a few months ago so I had to go through the whole claims process. Although Lexham are not directly involved with this, the companies they use were fantastic. I bought a new bike once everything was resolved and switching the details over on my insurance took around 10 minutes and I received the insurance certificate 5 minutes later, it was so simple and easy. Now I have a 2 years no claims bonus I decided to go up to a higher powered motorcycle, Lexham were able to offer me a fantastic deal for fully comprehensive with added extras, and it was £2000 cheaper than my cheapest quote elsewhere. No, I'm not lying - they were seriously £2000 cheaper! There is absolutely no way I am going to take my business elsewhere for the foreseeable future. I HIGHLY recommend using Lexham Insurance!”

“having been provided with a written renewal quotation at circa £600+ to renew with the same insurers (AXA) and been told that this was the BEST figure achievable from your stable of insurers I went onto comparethemarket .com to see what else could be available. I got a renewal quotation of circa £300 on an identical risk basis which was with AXA and via a broker called LEXHAM INSURANCE! I committed to the cover and paid the premium and was provided with the relevant documents electronically. On the same day and within 2 hours I had a called from LEXHAM INSURANCE presumably form your call centre asking me if I wanted to take up the offer to insure with AXA based upon the original £600 premium and when I asked if that was the BEST price that you could offer in the market I was told unequivocally that it was. LEFT HAND AND RIGHT HAND/GROSS INCOMPETANCE comes to mind along with a suspicion that you are NOT interested in offering the most competitive terms. Needless to say that as a result ALL TRUST in LEXHAM has evaporated. YOU ASKED for feed back now you have it but what if anything will you do?”

“£75 for a change of address is ridiculous, especially after having just signed up to you 2 weeks ago. £365 for the year - £75 that's roughly 20% of the insurance cost for a 2 min job.
