They are a joke I have a knock knock fridge got in October 2020 for 2000.00 they wanna offer me a little over 600.00 because THEY don't have a tech in my area!!!! I'm a single mom and I work very hard for EVERYTHING I have. These refrigerators should not have even been sold considering they knew the compressors were junk and faulty. I've lost all of my food now I am expected to get a new refrigerator get it delivered and get rid of my old one.... on $600.00 DO BETTER LG i highly recommend people looking into the class action lawsuit they've had against them!

Compressor went out on a 3 year old refrigerator. Took 10 days to get it replaced and repair man left old compressor for me to dispose of. I live in a major city and appliances are repaired in 24 to 48 hours. I would rate it 1 star for reliability and minus stars for repair service. I have placed 20+ calls to LG and nothing done.

I called in on July 7th refrigerator stopped cooling. I've sent numerous emails and call in everyday the presidential team won't call back. Customer service says they call u on selected date when times comes no call. They are being a coward and don't want to give a refund. I've lost hundreds of dollars in spoiled food. How can someone feed a family with their refrigerator not working. You can't because the food goes bad before getting it all used or ate. I just called in again got told have to wait for presidential team.

How do I give it negative stars! French door fridge stopped working (compressor) 3 days before I had it 4 years (thanks goodness I purchased an extended warranty (lot of good it is doing!). Speaking with LG Customer Service is a total joke! They set up an appointment, then I get a text that there are no authorized repair services in my area (happened 3x). I have been with a fridge for 9 days! I will NEVER purchase an LG appliance EVER AGAIN!

We have a gas stove modelLTGL6937F. Repairs were made 5/17/25 replacing gas regulator. Same problem again, odor, condensation in both ovens and black soot in both ovens when turned on. Cannot get anywhere with customer service. Have an extended warranty which is useless because you won’t accommodate a Saturday appt. This is a safety hazard and I cannot get anyone to help. Spent one hour in the phone bro by bounced back and forth with no help at all.

I have all LG appliances. Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Within a year each item needed service. Now my washer and dryer is 9months old and needs repair. The worst. My refrigerator cost me 500 to fix because the compressor went. Total garbage. The washer dryer keeps showing a code. This will be my last purchase with LG I'm disgusted with there way of getting customers satisfied.

I bought their product but it takes 1 month just to installment. Everytime i follow up for installment, they just ask me to wait a little bit longer

Microwave purchased one year and 4 weeks from Lowe’s - out of warranty and quit. Very unhappy - hope my refrigerator hangs in- so disappointed in LG. I used to think it meant quality but there are a lot of complaints these days and now I had failure in a short time. When this first came up I tried to chat but couldn’t get anywhere. I tried to get through on the phone and finally gave up. Looking at Samsung for The replacement Item #: 1099234|Model #: MVEL2137F 2.1-cu ft 1050-Watt Smart Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking (Printproof Stainless Steel)

I texted with Marilyn Vicente this evening, July 28. She pointed out that LG did not have my microwave registered. I said the reason for that is the warranty questionnaire did not ask for the serial number. She started a file regarding my complaint and assigned a ticket number and a referral number to a local repair company. She was very patient when the photo could not be sent from my iPad to the text message app. We used email and the photo went through to the LG customer support email address. Again, Marilyn was very patient and courteous.

A Masterclass in Corporate Incompetence – LG, You’ve Outdone Yourself I never thought I’d say this, but LG has officially made buying a refrigerator feel like a long-term relationship with disappointment. When my LG fridge suddenly stopped working, I immediately submitted a claim. You’d think that would trigger a timely and helpful response—think again. Instead of expediting a service visit (or even pretending to care), LG informed me they only work with their approved vendors—none of whom existed in my area. Their solution? Wait up to two weeks without a fridge. Two. Weeks. In what world is that acceptable for a basic household necessity? I had no choice but to go buy a new fridge and have the broken one hauled away. Two weeks later, LG miraculously found a vendor. A week after that, the vendor called to schedule a repair—nearly a full month after the original failure. I told them I no longer had the unit because LG’s glacial pace forced me to replace it. They understood. LG did not. To make matters worse, LG had initially promised to reimburse me for the spoiled food. Then, in true LG fashion, they backtracked because the work order was canceled. Of course it was—you made me get rid of the fridge because you couldn’t deliver on basic service. This experience has been nothing short of infuriating. LG appliances may look sleek, but when they break—and they will—you’re on your own. Between the broken promises, endless delays, and utter lack of accountability, LG has earned my business… never again. Do better.

LG made us very unhappy. Our previous refrigerator only lasted us 7 years. We just purchased a new one. It’s only been a month and the compressor went out. We had to move all our food to our neighbors. And now we have to go through the hassles of having LG replace it for a new one. So far we are out $200 for the service company to come out. We are completely inconvenienced. We should have stayed with the reliability of a GE or Fridgedaire.

Dear LG Customer Support, Regarding LDP6797ST , Reference number : RNN250717009654 I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the resolution provided regarding my defective LG dishwasher, which originally cost approximately $1,200. The unit failed after only five years of use—an unacceptably short lifespan for a product that was marketed and priced as a high-quality, long-lasting appliance. In addition to the purchase price, I also invested in an extended warranty through Best Buy, further increasing my total cost and demonstrating my commitment to protecting this appliance. Despite this added investment, I am now being offered only a $400 credit—an amount that neither reflects the value of the original purchase nor supports the replacement of a comparable model. I find this resolution extremely disappointing. The dishwasher I had before this LG unit lasted over 20 years. I chose LG expecting better performance and reliability, and unfortunately, that expectation has not been met. This situation has left me feeling that I would have been better off purchasing a more affordable model from another manufacturer. Instead of rewarding my investment in a premium brand, I now feel penalized for it. Going forward, I will have to seriously consider choosing the lowest-cost option from another manufacturer, simply because I cannot justify reinvesting in a product that has failed prematurely with inadequate support. This experience has eroded my trust in LG products and customer service. I strongly urge you to reconsider your decision and provide a resolution that fairly reflects the investment I made and the quality your brand promises. never trusting LG brand, regretting buying all my appliances from this brand.

We had an LG front load washer that the glass spontaneously imploded while the unit was not even running. The customer service team was a nightmare to work with. Spent nearly 3 hours on the phone and its still not resolved

My washer is 6.5 years old and now won't spin. We've tried te fixes on YouTube to no avail. I am a single person who doesn't have much laundry so such a crappy machine is a huge disappointment. I was quoted $349. 00 plus tax with only a 90 day warranty to "fix" this machine. I got a good laugh out of this as that is about half the cost of a new one! It says an LG should last 10 - 15 years. 😂😂 Not even close for this one. You people should be ashamed.
