DO NOT BUY FROM LG.COM I ordered a washing machine from LG’s website on 6/17 because it said it was in stock and would be delivered by 6/20. That was a total lie. I wasted an entire day waiting for a delivery that never showed up. After over an hour dealing with their customer service nightmare (multiple numbers, automated systems, and runaround answers), I was finally told the washer is on backorder and won’t be delivered until maybe between 6/23–6/28. Even worse? They told me it was supposed to arrive at their warehouse on 6/13 but couldn't confirm it was there. So why the hell did your site say it was in stock? I should’ve listened to my husband and gone with a brand that’s actually honest and reliable. If I had, I’d be washing clothes right now and getting on with my life. Instead, I’m out a day's wages waiting on a ghost delivery and have to plan to miss ANOTHER day of work for the real one — if it ever happens. No notice. No apology. Just silence and lies. This is how LG treats customers? Shameful.

The products are OK, but their customer service is non existent. They only care about getting your money, and then passing the buck if you have a problem.

I had LG washer and dryers for ten years and LOVED IT. It was time to replace so I went with LG again. But never, ever again. Their customer service team is the most frustrating thing we have ever had to deal with. For over a month we have called and called and sent pictures and so on.. you can’t hardly understand the person on the other end of the phone. We will never buy another LG PRODUCT EVER AGAIN

What a disappointment this purchase has been. I’d say the only thing less reliable is the LG Support resources who not only refuse to help, but they make false promises to help resolve issues, then refuse to follow through. Background on the issue, I’ve owned the dishwasher for less than 3 years and the display screen has once again broke. A problem in which I read many complaints. I was informed hat they would cover the parts under an exception due to this being the second time and I own many other LG products. Over 2-months of working to get even a single call back, nothing. LG should be ashamed , not only for putting out an inferior product but more importantly, not standing behind a known issue.

So purchased a TV that died just over a month after purchasing it. Started a case and jumped thru all of the hoops to start a repair request. A month or so went by before finally getting a tech assigned. Online information for repair was not ever accurate. Went through all of the slow steps getting someone here to replace the main board a few times, as well as the power supply. That was a month ago, and apparently their technical team did not submit their paperwork properly. So waiting for them to do that. So far 5 out of the 6 months I have had this it mainly has not worked. And after card replacements worked for no more than a week and died again. LG is slow with responses, slow to do anything when this is clearly a warranty issue for a bad unit. Customer service and satisfaction are not a priority here. I have other LG appliances, and those have been great. But as long as it all keeps working. Sooo not happy having a 75 inch TV sitting unplugged since I do not trust it. Super frustrated customer.

I received a broken item after spending a considerable amount of money on lg.com. Upon replacement wich was also damaged i contacted support and they said to wait until a supervisor called me to resolve my issue but never did multiple times. I am still working with them to come to a resolution but now they state that I am past the return or refund time period event hough I started this process long before.

Been trying to have a dishwasher under warranty repaired for the last four months. Keep getting the runaround from the agents on the phone about no service tax in my area and they say they’re still working on it. I get different texts all the time telling me all kinds of different things. No technician has ever come over here as of yet, and I can barely understand any of the agents on the phone as it is not buy their products. As a businessman, I always stated that you can gauge a business by how they deal with problems. LG gets an F minus.

I have over 10,000 dollars worth of LG appliances in my house. I purchased a new microwave in February of this year. The light inside stopped working. I spent countless hours on the phone with LG customer service. They kept telling me to unplug the unit and to no avail. They sent me a bulb and had a LG technician call me. He requested that I send him a picture of the bulb that was sent. He told us it was the wrong bulb, then texted me back and said he would have the correct bulb the next day. He said we would have to have the microwave removed from the cabinet space for him to replace the bulb. The microwave is 4 months old and cost $400.00. I called customer service again spoke to a supervisor for approximately an hour. He assured me he would get back to me. I never heard from him or anyone else. A word to wise, stay away from LG products.

I purchased an LG French door refrigerator 9 months ago. It immediately threw an error code and did not cool properly. It has been repaired 3 times with no end on site. I have lost so much food and they simply don’t care. LG will not replace my lemon unless the technician says it’s unrepairable. Of course the technician won’t say that EVER because he gets paid to come out and look at it. He’s been to my house so often that I’m now on a 1st name basis with him. My recommendation is DO NOT BUY AN LG REFRIGERATOR !!!!

I purchased an LG refrigerator 3 years ago. The compressor and control died a month ago. There is no way to contact an actual person at customer service since it sends you back to the live chat and online service, as well as finding someone willing to work on them. I found one that was recommended to me from another service man and after numerous calls to LG for warranty information and told I was covered and the serviceman I had contacted was their approved service provided it was then three weeks of continuous contact of myself and them and the service man and them with no response at all from LG. Unfortunately I couldn't wait any longer and had to replace the 3 year old refrigerator. Never purchase merchandise from them. It is a nightmare and the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

The ice maker on the door stopped working within 3 months. I have an extended warranty through Lowe’s but because it was 3 months old I had to contact LG. The customer service was bad but they agreed to have a repair person fix it. After a few days I called back to see when it was going to be fixed and they said they couldn’t find a repair place to fix it… but would keep trying… it’s been a week and NO fix and no communication…. Don’t buy their products

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I submitted a repair request sometime in April/May because my Bluetooth headset was still under warranty. I sent the headset out the next day to ensure no delays on my side. It is now June and nothing. I was informed a part was on backorder and I would recieve it by 6/1. I have consistently called customer care no response. I have used the chat no help. This is ridiculous and beyond unacceptable behavior from such a large company. If the item is backorder then provide a replacement for my item! This is so disappointing and the lack of access to customer service is ridiculous. PROVIDE ME A REPLACEMENT FOR MY PURCHASE

Purchased 2 different LG refrigerators for apartments I was renovating or was planning on renovating. One was a basic stainless upper freezer, a month out of warranty the evap fan motor went, $242.00 to get repaired. Refrigerator 2 was a 33" bottom freezer , purchased but sat for a year till tenants left. Compressor failed out of the box, out of warranty, and paid service company $200 plus to tell me it was junk. Never again will I buy LG, which I believe actually stands for "LITERALLY GARBAGE"

I will never purchase another LG product. Our refrigerator compressor went out after 4 years. It was still under warranty. Getting our refund took 2 months. Constant lengthy calls that typically led no where. Dealing with their call center was an absolute nightmare. The last call I had with them was 2 hours long. They would keep putting me on hold hoping I would hang up I suppose. They finally agreed to refund my money but refused to refund the full price. I think I lost $500. I just wanted to be done dealing with them.

A complete nightmare dealing with their customer service. Disconnected several times (obviously a foreign call center), not being able to get to the right area for service, not able to make any changes to an order (have to cancel it and redo it). DO NOT order through Lg.com. Order through Home Depot or Lowe’s to avoid the headache trying to deal with this company. Was told wrong delivery time. Wasted several hours in the phone and through live chat dealing with our issue. Worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.

Tv always breaks connection to wifi. I know how to connect devices to the network, and no other wifi-enabled device I own regularly fails to maintain connectivity like my LG tv. It's a problem with their software, and this will be the last LG TV I buy.
