£550 washing machine lasted 3.5 years. It then had a catastrophic failure when the front counterweight broke into pieces and destroyed the drum. LG agreed this was a manufacturing fault - and clearly this is a design fault. LG have said that because I removed the front of the washing machine, the warranty was no longer valid. This machine is not fit for purpose, meaning the fact the warranty is not valid doesn't matter. When I spoke to several repair places, they have all said LG machines are notoriously bad. Please do not buy an LG appliance. Their customer service is dealt with at an offshore call centre where they are unable to go off script and actually help you - and will just refer to legal terms with no empathy. I'll never be buying LG appliances and will be making sure I spread the word.

I've had technicians to my house at least five times trying to repair my refrigerator they put in multiple ice makers three four months after I bought it they had to put in a new compressor which is the heart of the refrigerator then the craft ice maker didn't go out once but three times then they send me a brand new circuit board to install and then they sent me the wrong circuit board in my refrigerator quit. And then less than a month ago for the fifth time it went bad they sent the technician out and they had to replace not only the compressor but all the internal evaporator coils. And they assured me that if it was a major repair they would give me the refrigerator and guess what after five phone calls and six text messages and 15 pictures they're still stalling. If I could give them a zero I would. I would never ever in my remaining years recommend LG to anyone. Ronald m Rose USMC retired

Dear LG Team, * Product: LG 55-inch LED TV & Soundbar * Payment: Full cash paid I recently purchased an LG 55-inch LED TV and a soundbar during the Diwali offer period, paying the full amount in cash three days ago. However, the installation has still not been completed. This morning around 8 AM, I received a call from (9840928603) one of your representatives to confirm my availability. I clearly informed him to schedule the installation for 4 PM, as both my wife and I are working professionals. He confirmed that the technician would visit by that time. Later, I was given another contact number (784532863), and the person informed me that the technician would reach before 7 PM. Unfortunately, I have been continuously trying to contact both numbers, but there has been no response despite making more than 10 calls. Due to this false commitment. Took permission from my office today to be home by 4 PM. I have my office work responsibilities and lost valuable time because of this. I’m really disappointed that your team gave a wrong commitment. This experience has been extremely disappointing and reflects very poor customer service from LG. I trusted the brand for its quality and professionalism, but this situation has left me dissatisfied. After 6 PM, no one responded to my calls. Your team did not provide any proper reason or even inform me about postponing the installation. The LG Chennai service experience has been completely disappointing — totally zero in customer support. LG’s management may trust their employees, but due to improper work and lack of responsibility, you are losing loyal customers. Please don’t waste your customers’ time or make false commitments to anyone in the future.

We bought the whole kitchen suite and every appliance has been serviced for failure of operations 3X including replacement of the over Stove Microwave!! LG is NOT the Best outcome there! We still have a Maytag Fridge from 2005 still running, and never needed servicing!!! NO MORE LG APPLIANCES...

Terrible experience with my LG refrigerator. It completely stopped working in under 3 years. Even though the compressor is still under warranty, LG ready to fix it but told me I had to pay for a replacement charge — almost the same cost as buying a new fridge! When I ask them there is 10 years warranty for compressor why u ask fir replacement charge, they say it's company policy and why they not mention before selling the product.. Fraud, cheat, scam. This feels like a complete scam. Their warranty is misleading, and customer service is unhelpful and evasive. I expected better from a brand like LG. Never buying LG again.Im having painful weeks without refrigerator in hot climate like uae,I am suffering with small children. Still didn't find the solution. LG not having direct repairing unit instead they are giving to dealers and local agents and they are rude in speaking, they take 200 dhs only for transport in advance and they ask 950 dhs now but the new refrigerator costs only 1400 dhs now. Im having all LG gadgets in my home. But now I hate the most and I not recommend any one to suffer this pain hereafter. Please be careful careful careful, don't buy their products.

Bought a washing machine that leaked and caused severe mould. Despite it being under warranty I had to pay for the repair. They don’t cover this issue because all the machines leak they said.

If I could put in zero stars I would. It has taken over a month and multiple "chats" online as well as phone calls with customer service to try to get someone out to repair our new refrigerator. They are ridiculous in how hard they try NOT to repair something. This is the worst company ever and I would never buy any of their products again

Our washer hasn’t worked in six weeks. It’s still under warranty and we are getting nothing but excuses from LG as to when repairs will be done. We will NEVER buy another LG product again!

Mr Gulshan Sheel must be held accountable. My refrigerator fault was never fixed even after 5 technician visits. Instead of owning up to an inherent defect, Mr Gulshan Sheel diverted the issue and pushed a fake depreciation offer to cover up LG’s failure. His letter ignored my repeated request to meet the MD and tried to quietly bury the case. Mr Gulshan Sheel has shown zero accountability and total disregard for customer trust. LG’s service has failed because of such people.

Bought new dishwasher in 2022. Worst purchase from Best Buy ever. Had Best Buy come out for a knocking noise, was never fixed and technician was unable to get information from LG as to the cause. Recently small off white pieces have been falling out, a ball bearing just a couple days ago and the slide for the middle drawer today. We've spent enough money on this dishwasher that we should just buy brand new. Never buying LG again.

I placed an online order for my washing machine on Tuesday and it was delivered on Saturday. I felt the price was competitive and the delivery and set up was super easy. The delivery company was RXO out of Pensacola, FL. I was kept updated on the delivery date and time. The technicians were thoughtful and treated my home with care as they carted in and out the old machine and the new one. As long as this product holds up, I'll be very pleased with my purchase.

Garbage product. Purchased an 83 inch lg tv from best buy and right out of the box the quality was not good. Something was wrong with the picture. Everything was severely grainy. Nothing we did fixed the problem. We returned the TV to best buy for another one. It worked for about 13 months. Now it has white streaks that go through the screen in darker scenes. The quality of the tvs are not worth the money at all. Called customer service, they won't do anything because they only have a one year warranty. Shows how well they stand behind their product.

Worst Customer Service Ever – LG extended warranty is a Scam! I’ve never been this frustrated with any brand before. I purchased an LG washing machine and even paid extra for their extended warranty, thinking it would give me peace of mind. Instead, it’s turned into an absolute nightmare. Their so-called customer service is a complete joke. When they sold me the extended warranty, they said their service person will come once in three months and clean the washing machine. when you raise a complaint, their service people will say, once. year. No matter how many times I’ve contacted them — calls, what's app messages, the service requests — they simply don’t show up. This isn’t just poor service — it’s a blatant scam. They happily take your money for warranties but vanish when it’s time to deliver. I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from LG products and their worthless extended warranties. They don’t care about their customers once the sale is done.

Do not buy LG. Customer Service is non existent. Paid for a repair on my dishwasher that was covered under warranty. Never fixed the dishwasher and destroyed the kitchen floor due to a faulty part. It's been almost a year and still battling to get answers.

LG service is third class service by seller.. I have purchased lg washing machine by flipkart but I have received defective product but your seller is not accepting this issue purchase date 25-10-2025 also now this washing machine 8 kg not use this same condition in my home.. please replace urgent basis... Other wise I will blaming lg company is fraud every coustomer... Waiting your reply.. i have also invoice

Its the worst customer service I have ever encountered. A 10 month fridge that still with in warranty leaking and they stalling not to come and check it , Tech was so rude and literally said we live too far for him to come we should face time him first

This company has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. For months, we have been calling about a problem with our oven. Every time we call, and we’ve called a lot, we are promised that someone would call us back within 24 hours and not one time has anyone called us back. After our calling back over and over and over again, we were finally and repeatedly told that our concerns would be escalated to the Presidential Liaison office and that someone from that group would call me back. I have not received a single call from that group even one time…..so much for the Presidential Liaison Department…..they are as uncaring, unprofessional and useless as the rest of Customer Service. And since no employee is ever allowed to call anyone else at LG and talk on the phone, and all they can do is send message to each other that go unanswered and unacknowledged, we have literally no option but to buy a new oven, since ours hasn't worked in months and we can't get anyone on the phone who is willing to talk to us or call back, even after about a dozen attempts. My entire house is LG, as was our last house, as is my daughter's house based on our recommendations. However, we will never buy an LG product again. In reading all the reviews, I can see that this is an overwhelmingly common complaint by many "former" customers. We have always been happy with their products, but now that we know we can never, ever speak to someone of any authority if we have another problem, we won't expose ourselves to this kind of frustration again. Have a nice life LG.....we're outta here! I just wish I could give them no stars!

Original Repair Case #: RNN250915016058 Case # I was given today: CNN250o29720270 On September 15 I ordered repairs for the freezer and non functioning ice maker. Repair Technician arrived at my home on September 18, and was unable to fix the problems. He rescheduled me for September 23, and cancelled. He then rescheduled me for September 25, and cancelled. He has rescheduled me for September 30, 8AM-12PM. I just got off the phone with your Customer Service, and was told "The ticket was completed/closed out". I asked what does that mean, and the answer was that the job has been completed. Well, if completed, why all the reschedules??? And why do the problems still exist? When I first scheduled repairs on September 15, I gave you folks my credit card #, and was told, "hold on my credit card by L/G will be deducted from my account within 24-48 hours of repair completion"!!! The technician is scheduled to be here tomorrow, so obviously the repair is not completed. My credit card was charged $403.43 on September 24-with no repair. We have a problem here, and I expect you to figure it out, and straighten it out, and make me whole, immediately! I was told I will hear back from your escalation people within 24-48 hours. Short of that, I shall give L/G the worst possible review on all sites that review product, performance, and service, contact the Better Business Bureau, and that is just for starters.
