“bought a refrigerator just 3 years ago and the rubber seal doesn't work anymore, allowing condensation to build....refrigerators used to last at least a decade.....you would think with better technology they would last longer.....lg is a HORRIBLE company as they won't even answer their phone in Englewood NJ. Mr. Chung, you run the company here....what do you have to say?”

“I spoke to an LG customer support person today, after being passed around to three different people, they wanted $399.00, upfront to have someone come out and look at my refrigerator as the warranty expire 6 months ago. It supposed to have a 5-years on some items and 10-year warranty on the compressor and labor but to find out if you have a compressor that has failed, you need to pay they $400 upfront before they can send anyone out. If you go out and find someone yourself, they will not cover the warranty parts or labor, Unbelievable. They can survive this way for a while, but you can bet it will catch up with them in the end.”

“I bought an LG washing machine in April 2024, and it broke down in October 2025 after only 6 months of use. I requested service, and after a few weeks, a technician came and said that the drum was completely damaged. This is not covered by the warranty, and we have to pay 7,400 kroner for the repair. I bought the washing machine for 7,120 kroner, and now I have to pay 7,400 kroner to fix it. This reflects the poor quality of LG washing machines, and I recommend that no one buys them. It would be better to throw the machine away and buy one from a better brand. Just a warning: don’t waste your money on LG electronics.”

“I am extremely disappointed with both the product and customer service. I purchased a full suite of LG appliances, but my dishwasher soon stopped drying properly. Despite having a technician visit four times, they insisted it was working without allowing the full cycle to complete and verify the issue. On the last visit, the technician didn’t install the dishwasher correctly, which damaged my kitchen cabinet door. Now, instead of one issue, I have two. “I was promised an installation when I bought a combo. No installation was done. Machines were lying around until the installation was finished by myself. The dryer I will need help to install over the washmachine.”

“Wish I could give a negative 5 star for LG we bought a washer dryer tower combo. Had it 3 months and now is junk. Keeps displaying NP no power usually that means the thermal fuse is out. LG service was no help with getting it repaired. Instead they refunded the money and dropped contact. Now winter is starting and we have no way to wash our clothes. We are in a very country setting near the U.P.”

“Do not buy lg...its another chinese brand. Bought a watch, as soon as they stopped manufacturing it, the watch stopped and there are no parts available after. Philips and lg are worlds apart. Have so much respect for Philips. I'll always be a loyal customer to them for they always looked after me.”

“LG products cheap & service terrible. I have 3 appliances 2.5 years old. Dishwasher 10 yr warranty the Refrigerator 3 year & microwave 1. Since no servicemen come this far out they won't cover anything. Never buy LG! On chat for 4 hours this morning and kept cutting me off. Tried to get them send parts & we'd replace. No, I have to pay a servicemen but can't get a servicemen to come out here. Never again.”

“LG not worth buying any product read my review before buying any product of LG Bought LG Oled 65 inch TV on 30th Dec 2021 and delivered on 1st Jan 2022. on 22 Oct 2024 broke the board not working and the TV not taking power. Called the LG they said only one wear warranty and now will have to pay £509 to get this repaired. I have in my 64 yrs never experienced or heard a TV getting bad in just two year. Bought a LG machine a year back and had to call twice to repair and the problem still persist. Looking at this people should now think twice before buying any LG product.in my understanding the are scamming people Date of experience: 22 October 2024”

“20 days without a fridge. What's way worse is that LG could care less. We are making it work with a cooler but they don't even have a repair person, no one has come to fix the damn thing. No refund has been issued. No new fridge has been delivered. And worse than all that we keep getting thank you for your patience messages which are really scolds. I will NEVER purchase lg. EVER.”

“I'm on my second LG refrigerator. The first one lost the compressor at 4 years. The current one is less than two years old and it appears the control circuit board failed which prevents the fan from running and distributing child air. No, I didn't but an extended warranty because I believe they should be unnecessary. Guess I'm wrong. New LG washer and dryer are both still working after three months, so that's a win! No more LG appliances in this household.”

“LG is a disgrace of a company. They have come to my house three times to attempt to fix a 4-month-old, $3,000 OLE TV, but with no success. They keep coming back to replace parts, but when is enough, enough? I strongly advise against buying electronics from Costco or LG.”

“I purchased an LG microwave in 2023, the panel had to be repaired 10 mo later & the door had to be slammed to get it to rotate. I received a refund for this shoddy product, but the partial refund I was promised for the 5 yr warranty never came!”

“Disgustingly poor quality refrigerator and worse service. Three people, including senior staff, called and promised rapid follow up and a return call.NEVER HAPPENED! This piece of junk fridge is 2 years old, under warranty, making the loud constant noise of a broken compressor. The first LG agent I spoke to said I had to listen to the noise for 24 hrs before she could make an appointment. She never called back. Ditto for the next two which were supposedly escalated agents. BESTBUY - get RID of this brand. Contact me: 510-982- 1957”

“Bought washer/dryer and fridge thinking this was a great brand. 2 years later my dryer is dead and they say the warranty is out. Funny they sent me a screen shot that is was a 3 year warranty. I'm waiting for the other appliances to go out soon. I'll never buy this LG brand again. TRASH”

“This has been the hardest and worst warranty. It’s been 2 months. Each service provider doesn’t show up or makes excuses when they come. LG is not pushing hard enough on these contractors to make things right. They should request the contractor get the customer sign off to get paid. These contractors are cheating Lg and us customers too. In the end, if i have to buy a new appliance why would i choose LG?”

“Only lasted 4 yrs. Bought a really beautiful Electric stove, solid easy to clean cook top, fast boil burner... just beautiful However F3 error came up, repair person said keypad is gone... $400 to repair, 9 months later...F3!! Again. Won't buy LG again, not worth $$$ Also the easy clean steam ....doesn't work. Bottom of the stove always grungy!!!”

“I will NEVER EVER buy another LG product as long as i live. Purchased a washing machine, since the purchase, had to replace the agitator 4 times. The last one was out of warranty and LG charged me close to 400 dollars back in May of 2024. Not even 120 days later, the washing machine is making the same noise. LG will not honor the repair and now wants another 400 dollars to fix it again. Save yourself some headaches and NEVER buy LG products.”
