LG trying to use a bereavement against us would give less than one star Life was better before we had LG Product and LG trying to use a bereavement against us LG customer Service trying to use a bereavement against us to get out their duty as a manufacturer to their consumer. Underhanded behaviour, the trauma we suffered is not a tool for LG to try and use against us as if we did something wrong - had you done your duty in the first place we would have had the fridge repaired (successfully) in September 2023 when it was reported as delivered damaged, it it would not even have been another thing we had to still deal with in December 2023 on top of the awful situation we found ourselves in. Just when I thought this companies customer service couldn’t get any worse you have stooped to a new low - not taking the time to check all the facts and then trying to blame a sudden and tragic death we suffered on your inadequate and quiet frankly shocking customer service taking almost a year to repair a damaged on delivery £2.5k fridge, but for the engineer to leave it worse than before and refuse to action our consumer rights for replacement or refund a further 2 months on and try and use bereavement in accurately to try and get out of manufacturers responsibility

LG tech broke my washer dryer while trying to repair it. Still no response from LG customer support. I am getting ready to email the president on LinkedIn.

Worst customer service ever.... Don't buy LG anything. They don't stand by their products. Been waiting a month for a repair, when you call you just get ignored. Even emailed the president directly. Called me, but now have been ghosted for weeks. Made several attempts to get an update. No response. Do yourself a favor and don't mess with LG products. I NEVER WILL AGAIN.....

Immediately had issues with the cooktop. They refused to do anything. Three calls to foreign country customer support and I am still waiting for the email they are supposed to send me. Grrrrrr

DON’T PURCHASE LG PRODUCTS, they have terrible customer service and give you the run around when they deliver broken products! I purchased a washer online from lg.com on June 2, to be delivered on June 10th. Wasn’t even shipped until June 20th, but of course they charged my credit card on June 2 (get that clock ticking so people can’t dispute a charge on the credit card when faulty equipment is delivered!!). Immediately after delivery I tried doing loads. Washer squeaked and squealed like a jet was landing in my laundry room (can hear it at volume in every room of my house!) during both wash cycle and spin cycle. Tried several different sizes loads and different cycles, but the noise was incredible. Started calling the next day to report. Customer Service sent me to AI chat lines, websites with AI bot trying to answer questions, left me in hold for hours, transferred me to another department that hung up after a I patiently held for another 45 minutes, etc. ENDLESS RUN-AROUND even though I b purchased it directly from LG. On day 8 I started sending emails with video and audio, sent 3 times. Another week went by with no contact. Then I get a one-line email saying a technician is going to be scheduled (no date, no phone number to confirm, no information on who at LG is answering). Six more days go by, get a one line email saying s technician will come on July 16 (no time, no instructions, no phone number again). July 16 technician calls WHEN HE IS ALREADY ENROUTE to my house! Technician verifies it’s installed properly, does tests, says machine is broken ands will have to be replaced and he will notify Returns. FOUR MORE WEEKS and they do not contact me at all! I start calling and calling again, endless hours on hold. Finally get hold of someone and they say they will need to send s technician. I explain they already did, but she says there is no record. Luckily I had the email, the technician’s text and other proof. Forward that and they decide maybe they should send someone else, but it would be 2-4 weeks. I said it was unacceptable as it was already August 13 when I ordered on June 2. Finally got sent to Returns and Refund for a replacement. But they explain they will send a company to pick it up (3-6 week wait), then it will be shipped to warehouse (another week) to be scanned it so information can be sent to Refund and Returns to process (another week), then they will refund my credit card (3-5 days before it shows), and then I can reorder, but delivery may be 3-6 weeks because RXO is booked and only comes to my area the third Saturday of the month!! So I purchased June 2 and MIGHT get a working washer in November or December. I again said it was unacceptable that they expect me to wait 6 MONTHS for a working washer from the day I ordered it (when I reported it broken the day after they delivered it!). Started posting on social media and was messengered (August 23) that the PRESIDENTIAL LIASON TEAM would be contacting me to straighten this out. I’m still waiting on September 11 for that contact! I’ve checked in several times (latest on August 28th where they “regret any disappointment you’ve experienced” and “rest assured that the PLT will contact you within this week”. Well it’s been another 14 days and still no contact or resolution. Meanwhile, some company called without warning me THE MORNING THEY WANTED TO PICK UP THE WASHER!! I was hundreds miles away, and I had NOT in any way agreed to this appointment. On top of everything, 3 months into this whole mess, one of their “consumer service” agents tried to say I had no claim and they would close the case because I “failed to report the defective machine within 30 days of delivery”!! I immediately said I had proof that I called repeatedly starting on day 2, and I had the emails proving I sent 3 emails with videos and audios on day 8, and that I have the phone calls and all the texts and Facebook messenger messages saved documented. So that agent immediately just said “Oh, then I guess you have a claim and i can’t close the issue”. Talk about trying to play dirty!!

Do not ever purchase an Lg product. The customer service was terrible. I spent hours doing checks on my dryer for them to give me two different reasons why it does not work even though it’s not even a year old. One the gas pressure needed checked. I had Consumers come out that’s not an issue second the ducts are full. Wrong again, the vents are empty and clean. I just need someone to come out and fix it and Instead, they want to chat more. I don’t have time I have to work.

LG stands for Literal Garbage. They lie and do not honor their compressor warranty. I am joining the class action lawsuit against them. Unfortunately, it is my only resolution. I have given them every chance and all I get are lies. They are over their heads with this LG linear compressor issue. Fix it instead of lying about it would be a better choice!!!!

During Labor Day weekend I purchased on the LG website, and with the help of an agent, a stackable washer/dryer to be delivered Sept. 4…I was told the “sale” would include delivery, installation, a $50 rebate on removing my existing LG washer/dryer and a discount on a three year additional warranty…I placed the order and as promised they were delivered on time…They were just left and I was told no notation to be installed…I was also told that there previous deliveries the people also were left with just boxes and no installation…I spent hours on the phone speaking to people that didn’t understand something so simple and was transferred multiple times to different departments to no avail…Even supervisors were not helpful…I was told I have two options to either get a $100 inconvenience fee or have them picked up and reorder…What?…Needing to get them installed I called multiple independent installers and wound up paying $365…There went the “sale.”…The LG customer service department is totally incompetent…I spoke to a minimum of 5 representatives with no help and worst of all it was hard to communicate even with the two supervisors I spoke with…I have multiple LG TV’s and my old LG washer/dryer lasted over 16 years…It’s not about the product…I will never order anything from the LG website again and hopefully will never have to deal with their customer service department…Also for the record this is the first time I have written a bad review ever…

I should have read the reviews before I purchased an entire set of kitchen appliances from Home Depot - LG Brand. Purchased June 2nd in Ontario to be delivered to New Brunswick - Delivery took place July 18th and my $3000+ fridge is dead first week of September. I am trying to deal with LG and it took 4 calls to them to be told I didn't have all of the receipts and documents and was not covered under an extended warranty, which was not even needed as the fridge has a one year warranty. Finally had to call Home Depot to have their team intervene. A tech was sent out Friday and the fridge was deemed to be irreparable and was told someone would be in touch in 24 hours to arrange for a replacement. Didn't know that we were talking about business hours because that department was closed all weekend. I called again this morning and was hung up on when I asked to speak to a manager. I called back and was told so sorry about your luck. nothing we can do. you will have to wait and times are estimated. No worries that we were out hundreds of dollars in lost groceries, had no fridge for a week and were looking at 2-3 weeks for a replacement, that may or may not die in 3 weeks after being delivered. I was also offered a store credit at Home Depot, to buy specifically another LG Fridge, of which there are none in stock so again, no assistance, and oh and if I buy at a lower price, I may lose the difference in what I paid vs what i am not being forced to buy. The customer service reps are rude, dismissive and told me that they were looking forward to reading my review. What a horrible experience. I will never purchase LG products again and would NEVER recommend LG products to anyone else.

Horrible customer service. Horrible company. Nobody answers the phone and they never respond to emails. So any product you buy from them will have a useless warranty. Assuming you can even get your item shipped, which takes several weeks. Avoid this company.

Don't ever purchase an LG product. I have an A9 Kompressor stick vacuum. It has never been able to clean garage or car carpet. Now at 2 years old the suction has decreased markedly. I have been in touch with LG by email, live chat and phone for 3 months now - no response apart from "we will be in touch shortly". The call centre is next to useless, the "Customer Care" team in Australia is useless and do not follow anything up. I wish I had purchased a Dyson instead.

We bought a TV 3 years ago along with two years additional warranty. As soon as warranties expired TVs stop responding good. Continually goes off and on. Nobody is responsible. Bad business, bad service. Also we bought a washer and a dryer. Both are garbage. All their products are garbage. Their products like a kids toys. I don’t recommend LG products to anybody.

NO warranty coverage for their faulty linear compressor. They told us it would be covered and after 3 appointments we owe $1795. The other lie was that the same error code you can read about was NOT the compressor rather it was for a circuit chip not covered. A nightmare!

Do not buy an LG refrigerator! Their Linear Condensors are plagued with issues and do not work. I've had 4 replaced in 4 years, and now LG wants to keep throwing parts at my unit, after repair techs gave told them it's unrepairable and sent the diagnostic results. However, LG will not replace or refund. They have spent 2x what I paid for this unit trying to fix it. We gave not had a Refridgerator since May 6th, 2024, and it's now September 2024. We gave been patient and polite and they gave done nothing but give us the run a round. They do not have repair services that can fix, or are willing to fix these units. At this point it's hard not to believe they are just biding time until my warranty runs out next April. Sure seems that way. I have filed a compliant with the better business bureau and will be seeking judgement through small claims. Buyer Beware!!

Same old same old, to see other reviews. Would give zero stars if I could. Never buy another LG anything again. New dishwasher delivered January 18, 223, went out December 18, 2023 and store suggested I contact LG. First I needed receipt, then date of manufacture, then delivery date, then copy of email suggesting I call them. Each time it was no, I didn't have all documents. Finally today, September 5, 2024, they agreed they have all the documents, but they cannot cover a repair because the warranty period has ended. Not only did it break in ten months, not only did they not fix it, but they wasted hours of my time.

I am trying for over 9 months to resolve my problem with newly bought LG dryer, the customer service and appliance and technician specially are miserably rude and horrible, I am tired fighting for my refund and I badly want to throw that piece of trash. I will never ever buy this brand and I highly recommend whoever reads my review, should never consider buying LG products. The frustration I am going through I can’t even express. And I am 💯 sure LG does not care .i wish I would take that one star deleted , but not in my hand.

AWFUL HORRIBLE DISSATISFIED. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT TO AVOID GHE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALONE. My fridge went out only after 4 years. No one in warranty wants to help not even managers. Everyone just passes you off to the next person. The lead time and expectations are all over the place you get told something different by every person. AWFUL.

I have unfortunately purchased the full line of LG appliances and what a bunch of junk! I've had issues with my stove, issues with my over the stove range microwave, issues with the dishwasher and now the most expensive of all to repair my refrigerator. It's not even 7 years old costing over two thousand dollars stopped working and even though it's all over the Internet that these linear compressors are garbage and that there was class action lawsuits LG would not cover the cost to fix it. Definitely by far the largest investment fail in my 50 years! I can't believe this company is still in business. Everywhere I look, terrible reviews. Customer service I believe is forwarded to the Philippines and very difficult to communicate with. What happened to good quality appliances that lasted forever and companies that proudly stood behind their products. This is awful, I wasted so much time, money, food ECT. Shame on LG but it's obvious they don't care. Don't let the new and shiny fool you , it's just junk!
