Unbelievably bad customer service. My 8 yr old LG refrigerator stopped cooling properly so I reached out to LG customer service for support, and they had me run diagnostics multiple times. After they finally got a reading, they said everything is working fine and the problem was something on my end. Called back again and they suggested that I defrost my refrigerator after the second diagnostics test showed that everything was fine. I then called to schedule service and on this call, they reported that the past diagnostic tests showed that the compressor needs to be replaced which I was not informed of on the prior calls. I guess LG trains their technicians to make it the “customer’s problem” for as long as possible, which is unconscionable. They then said that the compressor has been a problem with my model and therefore they’ve extended the warranty to 10 years but I still need to pay over $450 to get it fixed. I was told I would get a confirmation of what time the technician would arrive today on the day prior to my appointment, but I never received. My fingers are crossed that somebody shows up today. Absolutely terrible customer service - I very strongly recommend that if you’re buying a refrigerator to go elsewhere.

Bought an LG microwave which failed within 4 weeks. Spoke to customer service who agreed to replace the microwave. However, they stated that they could not provide the same make model and color of the microwave I had. Because I bought the $300 trim kit That matched that model, I declined the replacement they offered, and they agreed to refund my purchase price. That was in May. I have the letter they provided that stated they were agreeing to refund. Since that time I have heard nothing from the refunds department, and over the 20+ times I have contacted customer service. All they say is they will forward the in wiry on and someone will get back to me. Nearly 3 months have gone by with no resolution, and I fear small claims court may be my only recourse. it is really unfortunate. That customer service are not able to or willing to contact the refunds department and get this sorted out, they seem to try to be waiting out until I give up. Which I will not.

I have not been able to fix my washer for 2 months. I have 4 7 week old puppies who have been making huge messes I have no been able to clean up for the entire time they’ve been alive bc LG goes ‘round and ‘round and ‘round. As I type this I am begging them to give me the correct model number of the inlet valve of my machine. Bc the parts department is closed on Sunday they’re refusing to tell me the information they can see on their screen to help me. This is now minute 32 of my 4th phone call, hours of time looking online for an answer, and driving down to my local appliance store for help. In addition, wherever their service department is located, their English is not great and their telephone technology subpar. It makes it really difficult to explain the issue. Over and over again.

LG Customer service is horrible! They don't have the capability to understand problems. They have basic responses that don't come close to addressing the issue. I told them that my refrigerator water filter is always bone dry, not a drop, ever! They said they'd send me a filter... I tell them I've been through 4 filters in 6 months and all bome dry... The filtration subsystem is not working. Yes, water is dispensed, but filter dry... Water still dispensed with or without filter installed... Always bone dry when installed/removed. Yes, I'll send you a filter... HORRIBLE!

LG is terrible in their customer service. They never reply to the emails and the product doesn't arrive on time although installation is requested on a specific date. They ignore all your requests for cancellation and just ship the date they didn't promise. Once you receive the product, it has defects too. It took me several hours to try to solve the issue over the phone, but the representative was not helpful either. They reply to my email after all the mess happened, and I wanted to return it, but they ignored the request. You cannot even return the product. It really sucks. Avoid.

Bought an oven 1 and a half years ago. Oven stopped heating. Not under warranty. Paid $500 to get it fixed. They said it needed a new control panel. They said it was fixed but still have same problem of stove not heating.

If i could rate their customer service a -10, i would. I was on the phone today with 8 different people. 7 of them claimed to be from the service department which i needed but none of them helped me. They kept transferring me to another person who couldn’t help me. I bought a dryer a month ago. The installation team put in a 4’ flexible hose which has caused me nothing but problems. I called and scheduled another install but no one ever called me back. I called again and was told that they never created a service work order. I called again and was transferred to 8 different people, the last ones claimed they couldn’t hear me so i ended up hanging up. Not sure what the problem with their phone lines is but they sounded like they were talking underwater. Customer service is absolutely terrible. I bought a samsung washer and their customer service is a 10/10. Will never buy an LG AGAIN

They wanted us to pay $450 in advanced to send a technician with no guarantee that they will be able to fix the leak.

Worst customer experience. Fast talking but not knowledgeable or helpful. My Washer is under warranty but LG charged me $350 to set up a service appointment-collected in advance. Now, the local service provider, who also had an attitude of entitlement like I’m doing them a favor, tells me they can’t find a motor to repair my washer and there is NO estimated date for a motor to be shipped. So….i don’t even know how long I need a contingency plan. It’s not like when a dishwasher goes out…gotta find a laundromat, make time to go sit there and wash my clothes, bedding and dog items….and the LG people think this is acceptable. I won’t buy LG again after this!

I purchased a LG OLED77CPUA tv from Best Buy on 11-15-23 for $2974.98. On 5-14-24 the tv would not turn on. I called LG for warranty work to be done. They needed the serial number so I called them back on 5-15-24 with all info. They could not find a repair service to work on a tv that big so I was offered $2997.49 in reward points to purchase a tv from LG.com. I ordered the same model tv and it was supposed to deliver 6-13-24. On 6-12-24 at 0738 I received a message from RXO that my delivery was confirmed for 6-13-24. At 1041 I received another message from RXO that my delivery was delayed. delivery was rescheduled for 6-17-24. On 6-14-24 at 1533 I received a message that the delivery was confirmed for 6-17-24 between 1100-1500. At 1115 I received a call from RXO that my delivery was being delayed again. I told RXO I was cancelling the order. I called LG and cancelled the order. I explained every day that RXO moved the delivery I had to reschedule the installers and reschedule my help for doing projects on the house. I was not going to give RXO a third chance based on all the BBB complaints they have for delays. On 6-18-24 at about 1800 I talked to Josh in the online orders department. I asked for a cash refund and he said he would send out the form in 24-48 hrs and once he got it back a refund of $2724.99 would be processed in 3-5 days. I never got the form. On numerous calls to LG customer service said they would escalate the matter and I would get a call back in 24-48 hrs. I never once got a call back. On 7-10-24 after being hung up on twice I talked to Monica. She informed me they are still waiting for the tv to be returned. I told her that is between LG and RXO. Delivery was not made to me or even attempted. She told me there was nothing to be done until the tv was returned. I asked for a supervisor and was told there was no one higher there. I feel I should get the refund asap. I filed a complaint with the BBB on 7-10-24. Their reply was they should have a resolution soon. Now it's 8-14-24 and still no resolution. All I get are lies and promises. Stay clear of LG, they clearly don't stand behind their products.

i brought washing machine 23 months back its sill under warranty there is a heavy noise from drum and washing machine drum got damaged it self. i spoke to the customer care team and their ASM. and they are suggesting to buy some policy to claim this in warranty these people not even helping to customers literally stupid service.

This was the worst service experience we ever experienced. We had purchased an LG refrigerator and right away it was making noise, a loud buzzing sound and also motor kept cycling on and off. LG service tech was extremely rude and condescending. When we described problem he told us that we didn't know what we were talking about and we should not read the manual furnished by LG which described problem. He did some test, said he could not find anything wrong, and told us to call if problem happened again. He never pushed our refrigerator back into position. My wife asked him to do so, and shockingly, he said, "Do it yourself!" When we called LG customer service to tell them about our experience, no one answered and no one ever responded to our numerous calls and messages. We also tried calling the LG Sales Rep and he never returned our calls. Terrible service all the way with LG! The tech's name was JIm. We later called the number furnished with our maintainence plan and they sent a tech out. This was AAA Appliance Servies, and the tech they sent, Rob, listened to us, diagnosed and fixed the problems within minutes. He also said that if any other problems happen, just call and he would be the tech that would come out. AAA was outstanding! I would never in my life ever buy another LG appliance! Their service as well as customer service was the absolute worst we have experienced in our entire lives. Beware of LG!

Worst service offered for refrigerator at Tirur, Malappuram District of Kerala India. Never recommend to buy LG refrigerator as there is no proper response and timely service.

Ordered and paid for a stove from LG. Scheduled home delivery 2.5 weeks out, and waited home that day -- all day because no delivery window was offered. At 2pm I hadn't hear from anyone so I called LG customer "support" to ask for status. After making me wait for 3hrs they call me back. They told me the stove has been delivered to the local agent. After putting me on hold for 30mins a new person comes on the line and is immediately aggressive, telling me the stove hasn't been delivered, and I guess this means the new person is the local agent since they tell me it's not their problem, I need to call LG to get help. One star is more than these clowns deserve. They have the gall to answer calls with "your time is important to us". Actions speak louder than words, It is not. I will NEVER buy anything directly from LG again. Hopeless. You are warned.

After3 scheduled appointments, and a referral to the LG Presidential Liasion Team. Still have a non- working LG Refrigerator. Recommend never buying anything from Korea, or from a Korean company. Nobody shows up after scheduling service appointments. Customer Service is a non-English speaking cruel joke. You don’t get to speak to a supervisor when you ask. You cannot speak to anyone beyond the worthless Customer Service phone number. Never ever buy this mechanically defective LG brand of dryers, or refrigerators.

If I could go lower I would. Customer service ripoff. Don't buy Lg. Bad company to deal with and they don't care! Rob your customers blind! It's ok word of mouth gets around fast. You will lose more than what you owe me. I will tell everyone I know and the ones I don't know not to buy lg because you don't stand behind your word. Last lg products I will ever buy.
