LG appliances are dangerous!!! Something inside our tv heated up so high it burnt a hole in the screen from the inside out. We had warranty that was still in place, we thought it would be a no brainer & they would apologise for giving us a dangerous product, in stead they got us constantly sending photos & having the same conversation with multiple different people. Only for the products team to say we must have impacted the tv, with absolutely no proof we asked them to send someone out to assess the tv & they referred us to another company but at our cost. I would not recommend LG they are just after your money & will do & say anything not to replace dangerous manufacturers malfunctions. We will never buy from LG again.

LG does not care about their customers. I requested to return an item and was told that I had to pay to have it returned (water filter, how much could that really cost them??). That is completely unacceptable. When I tried to find a "Customer Care Team" representative I was rerouted to tech support and then routed back to their automated system. This is especially irksome given the following: SEOUL, Oct. 24, 2024 — LG Electronics Inc. (LG) today announced its third-quarter 2024 consolidated revenue of KRW 22.18 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 751.9 billion. This revenue marks the highest ever for a third quarter, while the operating profit ranks as the fourth highest in the company’s history. Do yourself a favor and never purchase from this company.

Broken freezer latch under warranty but cannot get LG to fix it. After several months contacting LG support (not sure which country they’re in but they’re English is horrible) each time I called, there’s no record of me calling or any repair order. They also have given me wrong information stating my repair is not covered under the warranty, then it is covered, then it’s not, oh it is. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Just decided to pay a local repairman to fix it myself. I WON’T be buying anymore appliances or electronics from LG ever again.

ESTAFADORES, Frigorifico comprado en mediamarkt el cual me venden con un defecto de fabrics. Una de las piezas interiores no corresponde a ese electrodomestico. Y la solucion que me dan despues de eludirme es arreglar la chapuza. Cuando deberian de proporcionarme un electrodomestico Nuevo. Para Que sepan el numero de cliente 900399391. Mi Queja en el establecimiento es lo sigue.

I bought an LG stove and it kept turning on by itself. I contacted LG and they had to replace the mother-board. There support team was not too reliable, I had to wait a while to get it fixed. Will never buy an LG produce again.

Happy Thanksgiving! Thankful that Jeffers McGill stood behind the product you manufacture even though LG would not. Too bad their actions don't don't reflect LG's service to the customer. "Doing what's Right"! I think that will make the first excellent LG review! The short story, Linear Inverter Compressor(10year warranty) quit working while we were on vacation, 2 years from date of purchase. LG replaced the compressor. 11 months later the compressor quit again. After months without a refrigerator and many, many calls to LG, LG said they would not replace compressor again. We contacted who we bought it from and they replaced our refrigerator (with same model) even though LG would not stand behind their warranty. Thankful that their are people that will do the Right Thing still around. I would hope that LG would reimburse them but I doubt it. Lg's recording when i called said "please hold we see you have called many times so well direct you to a live agent)

Do not buy direct from LG. Price is good but once your card goes thru good luck. At purchase you pick the date …but that’s not real. LG will send it to the Delivery people whenever they are ready or when they find it. They don’t know and can’t tell you. Delivery people will tell you after they get it from LG. Then as in my case , if there’s a problem look out- nobody can help you. They all want to start a chat - then say “ so sorry “ can’t help you. Just deal with Best Buy / Pacific Sales. If I weren’t so upset I’d have to laugh. The service is a joke - there is no service once they have the money.

Purchased an LG wash/Dry combo at Lowe’s on April 22, 2024 for my new home (at a cost of $2,198.00) The machine was fantastic for a couple months, then all of the sudden started leaking from the front, and completely stopped drying. We had communicated several times with LG regarding the resolution. They at first had us go through the basic resolution process-which has all been completed to no avail. After all that they sent out a technician who was very nice but spoke no English. He checked the machine and told us word for word “there is nothing wrong with the machine it’s just a horrible machine” After the technician we tried calling LG for a solution and either got pushed away on the phone, treated less than or not taken seriously. At this point in time (November 2024) the machine has destroyed clothes by making them smell horribly. It still constantly leaks out the front as-well. Spoke to LG today and they are sending another technician out to, more than likely tell me the same thing, and make me take time off of work. I really got fed up and need a wash/dryer that actually works and I normally really like LGs products so I purchased an ordinary wash/dryer yesterday (11/20/24) to be delivered on Friday 11/22. All I want is an even trade, I would like to be reimbursed for the original wash/dryer or for the new systems I had to buy. This machine is defective stay away from it at all costs!!!!! Funny story to do a load of clothes it took me 2 FULL days…..And was still not dry at all. My actual ceiling fans in my house dry things quicker than this machine. Photos for order info and electricity wasted/dry loads.

I bought an LG 65UT75 and it is a pretty good tv, but the remote is bad. All that needs to be done is use bright white paint on the remote key symbols. It is hard to read,. and the remote is a little small for my hand.

Lg products are horrible! Called the bottle refrigerator/ freezer while still under warranty they told me to defrost it. It’s been defective from the go. LG does not back their product or have service for product when needed. Home depot doesn’t help once you have delivery. Tried to leave pictures, they wouldn’t accept.

LG's customer service is an absolute nightmare. My top load washing machine isn't draining, and despite having a 5-year warranty, they have the audacity to try and charge me $401.66 for a simple drainage fix. That's beyond ridiculous. To add insult to injury, they can't send anyone out until next week, leaving me with no clean clothes for work. LG clearly has no sense of urgency and zero interest in helping their customers. Their incompetence and indifference are astounding. Do yourself a favor and go with Maytag. I will never buy from LG again.

LG's customer service is horrible. Bought LG washer and dryer because my prior LG washer and dryer broke after 10 years. Bought through Better Life Assistant Christopher on September 18, 2024. Delivery was promised on September 23, 2024. Delivery was postponed and the earliest LG could deliver was November 1, 2024. I had prior pedestals. Gave Christopher model number. He said the pedestals would fit. I have a copy of the chat stating the same. Nope, it turned out they did not fit. Tried to reach LG's customer service. Everyone says they understand. Noone did anything about it. They made promises that Customer Service team representative would be in touch. Many times. Lies, lies, incompetence, and then more lies. Their LG delivery people themselves told me that LG representatives would tell you ANYTHING just to sell. Made your own decision whether to trust LG,..

Bought a side by side, window touch LG refrigerator 4 years ago, and the compressor went out. I spoke to several technicians who all said LG compressor is trash. I called the 800 # on the frig and had an LG Tech come out to replace the compressor since it was under 5 year warranty. He also mentioned that he has to replace compressors every day on LG refrigerators and that the new compressor he just installed is likely to go out in 4-5 years

It often stops workind due to lack of upgrade and it also does not connect to the wifi to solve it. it’s already the 3rd time I need to take the LG tv to the techshop! Just because it’s a stupid machine. LG never again!

After a week of placing an order with a representative for a replacement glass shelf that shattered , I was sent the wrong glass. Being transferred to over 12 representatives and was very unprofessional improper English spoken which was hard to understand. My reason of getting a rep to help place the order so that the wrong item wouldn’t be shipped . Now I’m left with a thin long piece of glass that was $60 and my original glass shelf still missing due to I can’t get them send a label with pick up because I can’t get around to the courier to send back the glass due to I’m disabled. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LG.

After three years of owning my LG Thin Q French door refrigerator, I have begun to experience problems with all of my food starting to defrost in the freezer and also in the refrigerator. My refrigerator is still covered under warranty, so I contacted LG customer service and was able to arrange for someone to come out. The appointment was arranged for me, but then it was canceled. I called back to request a new appointment and they informed me that I would have to wait between 5 and 7 business days, and they would contact me once they found someone. I have been waiting for five days without any response. After calling customer service again, I was greeted by rude and angry employees who did not like their jobs and was hung up on. I called back to speak with a supervisor and it was just as bad as speaking with a regular employee. The supervisor showed the same lack of concern as the regular employee. There was no solution, so I would just have to wait five to seven business days. There will never be a time in my life in which I will purchase another LG product.

My wife and I have had nothing but problems with our $4000 refrigerator. After several attempts to to repair the refrigerator 2 burned up control boards, 2 complete door replacements, both ice makers replaced and wires catching on fire, the service technician put in a request for a new refrigerator for safety reasons as some of the burned wires are not repairable. LG has continued to ignore the request for replacement of the refrigerator. We would like to have some input on LG’s reasoning for the no response to the replacement request before seeking legal advice. Further more if this is how you treat your customers I will do everything in my power to spread the word on how LG does business. Thank you Richard and Susan Moitoso

Will NOT EVER buy LG again. They refuse to help me. You can only talk to people in the Philippines and I asked to be educated on buying a refrigerator for my garage. I wanted to know how do I know what LG refrigerator can be plugged into a GFI outlet which is used in garages and the manager said she could not answer that. Nor could she provide me with someone that could. I purchased a refrigerator for my garage and the sales rep told me this model would work- well some LGs do not work in an outlet in the garage due to GFI. LG refused to exchange. When I asked how would I know what model would work for my needs they could not answer my question. DO NOT PURCHASE LG products unless you are fully aware of such. And they do not use their own service as GE does.

Would not advise anyone to buy their products. I purchased a range from them and I used the self cleaning function and it discolored the inside of my oven and they want to blame me saying I used a chemical,when I can't use chemicals medical reasons
