I have never felt more scammed than my experience with LightInTheBox. I will share my experience wide and far to prevent other innocent shoppers from feeling robbed like I do. I did not order a special order or Made to Measure dress and nowhere on my order did it say it could not be returned. When I went through the proper channels and opened a customer service ‘ticket’ to get the proper paperwork to return the dress that I received nothing but a ‘policy’ statement that ALL dresses are made to measure. I never sent measurements with my order. How could it be made to measure? I simply ordered a standard size. This is just wrong. In addition, there are serious construction problems with the dress. It is completely unwearable. Shame on you, LightInTheBox!!

Now they won’t deliver to Hong Kong. What a shabby company this is. If they were English, and based there, they would be prosecuted out of business. It’s a shame all countries don’t have consumer protection against operations like this.

Terrible customer service- I would never order from them again. Product was two weeks late. I tried to cancel before it came, but that was ignored until after delivery. Then they told me this product could not be returned. There are no actual people to talk to-very frustrating.

I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I placed an order on January 28th and they just kept telling me that it was about to ship. I cancelled the order because it still hadn't shipped and wouldn't arrive in time for the date I needed it. Suddenly their policy states that it can only be cancelled within 24 hours of ordering, even if they didn't meet their scheduled timeline. I still don't have it. They keep saying it is on the way and then telling me it is delayed even longer.

Honestly the photo is nothing like the picture & the material is awful. Dont waste your money. I paid £33.80 for a jumpsuit you wouldn't wear 👎👎 Sent emails no one been in touch with me.

l had ordered from them on 21/2/2020 and the item was supposed to come in 6-8 working days .That never happened and also it was a birthday present which is even worse had to go buy something else in a very short amount of time.Tried contacting them and they keep asked me to wait I'm opening a dispute with paypal .maybe they can help me.DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

I had ordered a telescope of this site for my boyfriends birthday and it's been nearly 3 weeks and no sign of the package .On the listing it says 6-8 business days and when I contacted them they said to wait up to 18 days ,a joke.Do not order from this site,worst than wish.

Wake up people, they are experienced robbers and liars, after 2 weeks I received a 'poo in the box' I am extremely sorry for the word I've used. The cardigan was durty and used, I could not even put it on me to try it on!! They do their best to ignore you, I have requested a refund, they blocked my account😠 I am enable now to log in and contact them. Professional liars and thieves, they should go out of business!

Their products are of extremely poor quality. I've bought from here a few times - small items and always disappointing. Sometimes to the point where the photo image and the product in front of you do not compare. A waste of money. Ive stopped buying.

This online shop Light in the Box. Is the worse experience I have had shopping online, if you were lucky enough to find this review Before you wasted your money with them then good for you. Don’t shop with this app, go to amazon or directly to trusted retailers for a good and safe shopping experience. In my experience with light in the box. They simply didn’t send 1/3 of the items and the items that they did send, were broken, and used. After complaining they pretend to be taking care of the problem, they didn’t, they were extremely condescendent and fake. It was a waste of money and after the shipping fees and shipping insurance (that didn’t mean a thing really) it was a significant waste of money.

Lightinthebox UK site is Lightinthebox CHINA. Their website promotes fast delivery from European warehouse giving the impression that items are from Europe and already meets all the European safety standards. The discounted price they give are NOT inclusive of VAT or import duties of European countries. They DO NOT TELL YOU ALL THESE INFORMATION before you complete your order. Their cancellation policy is applicable before products is dispatch BUT they hide all the above information from you. You DO NOT HAVE any chance of cancelling the order because you do not know what they market are not what you will be receiving. You only finds out when the delivery company contacts you to collect import duties. The delivery company reveals to you that the products has been dispatch from CHINA and NOT Europe. You have NO IDEA that products you ordered from their European website / European warehouse are actually non existence as they do NOT deliver from Europe. Their products are directly from China and you have to pay European import duties making the discounted price they display on their website misleading. At the end of the day, if you fork out more money for an inferior, non European compliant standard, you are paying higher price that any high street shops for an inferior and poor quality products. You also have no chance for any refund if you reject their inferior products if you do not pay the import duties and accepts the delivery. This company makes their money by refusing to refund the money to unwitting customers like you and I who have been misled by their advertisement in their website. Your bank also works with these crooks by allowing them to retain your money. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THE European government in each of the European countries they deliver to SHOULD CLOSE their website down for false advertising, fraudulent activities to cheat customers and take the company to task. Customer worldwide should be warned NOT to buy from these crooks. This company ROBBED me of more than €700 for my rejected order.

DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THIS COMPANY!! I received an order that was not the quality I expected, which I spent $198 on. I was finally able to get someone to respond to me after leaving a bad review. Customer service gave me an address where to return it, I returned it and never got my refund or the package back!! I WILL NEVER PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Ordered a tap (faucet) and it was shipped, then received a message from the courier to say additional tax and fees needed to be paid. Contacted Lightinthebox to say i would like to return the item for a refund but agreed to pay their costs in shipping, so only a refund for the cost of the tap was needed. Chased them for a couple of weeks and then was told that their logistics department had rejected the delivery so it was likely the package was going to be destroyed. Lightinthebox then closed my account with them so i am unable to contact them to discuss further. VERY POOR!

This company is a total scam DO NOT USE THEM. I have lost so much money due the cost of postage and then £15 to return the goods. You have to set up a PayPal account to get any postage back and I have just discovered the credit they offered has expired. Very costly mistake using this company
