made an order for two dog jacket - spent hours with tape measure and checking sizes but they arrived too small contacted company who asked me to return to China - did not know I was buying from China for exactly these issues of return But found a UK address and returned to there and company refunded money less £1.55 So ordered again - this time had lost my new customer free post discount but nice jackets (don't know why we don't make them in the UK) and so made order this time double checking sizes because apparently I had made some mistake although I was pretty certain I had double checked but different jackets have different size ratios so.. Since a larger size would be longer and that was a bit weird, I changed order for three lovely jackets perfect for messy dog to wash etc plus another for cold snow Triple checked sizes of orders So when they arrived Chihuahua size I was amazed - my dog is larger than a border collie And they insist it was my mistake and have told me I have to return to China or will not get refund (UK warehouse will not accept return) and then I will only get 20% discount They say the only solution is to keep the items and get a 30% Voucher As if I am going to fall for that again

Items did not fit but disgusted that I cannot implement refund despite legally able to do so under Sale of goods Act. Would you care to respond?

Lovely dresses but pity they were not the size I ordered. In fact, no sizes shown on any of the packaging. Could not do the zips upas they left a 6 inch gap!!! Tried to get a Ticket to return and get a refund but website ignored me. Very disappointed and will not be using company ever again nor will I recommend it to any of my friends. Wasted purchase for wedding and very disappointed with service

I'm not at all happy,my first order was returned on 17th June and I haven't had a refund yet. My second order was not received. Your system doesn't allow you to call customer services and the tickets also don't have an option for goods not received. You have over £89 of my money and I have nothing.

Administration and customer service is very poor, with long delays possible due to time differences. Goods returned under track and trace but still do not know when I will receive the money back on my credit cards. The uncertainty and poor communication really fails to make this a pleasurable buying process.

I have been so disappointed with trying to send returns. No information when goods received. I was told not to worry information t would be sent out to me. It was still not received. I am still trying to return goods. .I would not buy from them again.

Unfortunately I have purchased 2 tops from your company. The qualm and sizing is very poor. Then to find out I can’t get a refund unless I pay a lot of money for postage. I am very disappointed and will not be using your company again.

Quality is not good and one of the dresses was like a nylon bag. The combats were shapeless and not as described will not buy from you again

Do not order from LightInTheBox As to return things is an absolute nightmare, You cannot contact anyone and still waiting for a reply that I’ve managed to try to return one item

If you had an automatic returns policy which made it easy you would have had a lot more business from me as some of your items are good but you made it so difficult I ended up keeping things I will never wear

Very disappointed with the dress I ordered, I ordered a size 14 and when it came it was more like a size 10 Can not wear for my daughters wedding.

I did not realise the dresses I ordered would come from Asia. The dresses were not tagged (card tag attached usually to the neck and can be cut off when satisfied with the purchase). Nor did they have a fabric tag sewn to the inside seam of the dresses - so no washing instructions, bar code - 'nothing'! The fabric of at least one of the dresses was awful - more like plastic. Due to the poor quality fabric and sizing (different for each dress), 4 of them need to be returned. This is an awful experience. Light in the Box do everything they can to make it difficult for you to return unwanted items. They suggest that it is your fault the dresses don't fit ie you didn't take enough care when ordering the items. They say you have 7 days to organise the return, but each time the customer service responds, you have to jump through another hoop and the days tick by. And then when they acknowedge you can return the items, they say the do not have a 'returns form'. Instead you are expected to post the items back to the warehouse in Asia, with some random message on the front so that the package gets through customs, and wait 4 weeks or more for the refund to happen. Frankly after this performance, I don't trust Light in the Box to make the refund. I anticipate after 4 weeks or so that they will say the package didn't arrive / wasn't returned. All in all, a terrible experience and one which I will not be repeating. Anne

Ordered a dress standard size. Arrived. Would only fit a Barbie Doll. Quality was very poor and did not represent the advertised dress whatsoever. Am still trying to return for full refund - the company keep asking for proof there’s a problem! Keep offering some kind of part refund only. Surely saying it would never fit as is not true to size should be good enough. Reading the other reviews below it looks as if they’ll never refund me, and do some kind of postage scam. Disappointing. I’ll have to learn from this and will never use this company again. I’m also going to make sure others aren’t burnt like myself, and other reviewers here have been. Nothing spreads faster than bad press.

Light in the box is a SCAM website! Be careful do not buy. They scammed 400 dollars for a dress, I was in a hurry to buy for my opera concert, never again! I asked for refund they disappeared (do not believe them if they reply here immediately is just for marketing, they are afraid of bad reviews because otherwise their scam doesn't work). You know what is their strategy if you ask for a refund? They disappear, after they offer a coupon for an other product and if you send the item you will not get the refund money back. Is a scam! The dress is bad quality, it loses all the sparkling things my house is full of that ***! NEVER BUY THEY SCAM YOUR MONEY be careful guys buy only on trustworthy websites!

Everything went wrong, charged £175 tax, this was not made clear when ordered. The dresses arrived, very bad quality, look different from pictures, colour and material looks different, I ordered these dresses in a standard size NOT made to measure, I asked for a returns label and was refused, told I could not return any of these dresses. I am very disappointed with the no customer services, no contact number and take days to reply by email

I ordered a beautiful looking dress on small size, I am a standard size 10 but the dress was much too jig for me. I have been trying to return it for a full refund and got nowhere except alternative offers to keep it or send it back to Asia!
