Ordered a set of lights. No invoice and they took the money from my account. Now it's stating on their website that I don't have an account with them so I can't even contact customer service for a refund. Absolute scam website.

Terrible overpriced products with very poor quality and horrible delivery time . When you order something its wriiten 8-16 days and when you ask them where is your product after 45 days , they respond you may wait 90 days cause you have chosen postal service . I ordered a jacket and its soo bad painted like some 5 years old made that in children garden. DONT BUY ANYTHING . IT WONT LOOK LIKE ON THE PICTURES !!!

Zero stars if possible. I ordered a fidget toy from them previously, and it took so long to be delivered I forgot I purchased it. Upon arrival and opening the padded envelope, the paper and plastic packaging was somehow torn and dirty. The item itself was a bit scuffed but functional so I let it go. Last month, I ordered a dress for my sister's graduation. After submitting a friendly enquiry for a status update as I couldn't see it in my lightinthebox account, I was told the order doesn't exist. I'm thankful I put it through PayPal as it was in the triple digits USD. The customer service is ridiculous, they send stock messages that don't even address what you're saying. I've seriously had to restrain myself from using more colourful language. I had my ticket closed even after sending screenshots of all payments and confirmations, no acknowledgement of the order. It's such a great way to make money I guess, just straight up scamming people. I should've read other reviews first, not worth dealing with this lot. They must also spend some of that scammed money on employing bots to write grammatically problematic but positive reviews!!

LED bulbs were faulty. Refund refused because they had been used, despite there being know way of knowing this without using them. Scandalous. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Hi please dont order anything from this site i have just wasted £57 pound on tracksuits which was for xmas present had no end of trouble trying to get them sent back to be told i hadnt ordered from them until i told them to sort it they then got back to me to tell me i can send them back but would cost to much an offered me 30 percent money back so had to except that only to now find out it is 14 pound in rewards on their website which you can only use if you spend over £29 what a con so pls dont waste your time

I never got my order. It was guaranteed 4-7 business days. We passed 10 now. No reply!! I paid a lot of money for shipping. I can’t even communicate with anyone. Will not recommend to anyone. Karma will get you back!

God awful experience, do not purchase from these people, and I will not purchase from them again. First my package took forever, their app is a mess of tabs and is so confusing. When my package finally got here it was two sizes too small. And when requesting a return, I was refused since the clothing was considered cosplay. Now I'm out $70 dollar, don't download this app and don't use its services.

Bad customer service. Practically non existing! No item, no refund, no updates on parcel arrival time. Avoid at all cost! You will only loose money and won't get what you want. Good reviews are put everywhere by its own workers!! It's a fact and quite transparent over the Internet. You have bad reviews from real people updated at different times and dates... On the other hand you have all the good reviews written at the same time, date, even formulated the same way 🤦‍♀️. You can easily see these good comments are fake. I watched it for over four days and all I seen is: as soon as bad reviews arrive they will try to block them by adding fewer new good ones to hide the facts. It's a scam people. Don't waste your time and money.

I ordered a sofa cover which didn't fit my sofa. So I asked them how can I send it back. They offered to return me 20% of the purchase price. The cost was quite high, around 80 euros, so I said no, I'd like to send it back and be reimbursed fully. They wrote me ok, please package it in the original package, purchase the cheapest tracking number and send it back to China! Ok, I couldn't package it in the plastic bag it arrived in as there was no ability to reuse it, so I used my own plastic bag, but at the post they demanded that I buy the cardboard box, they didn't accept it otherwise. The cost of the post services grew up with it, as the parcels in the cardboard boxes cost more, so I paid around 30 euros only for the postage. In 1,5 months(!) I received an email from lightinthebox, saying, that they couldn't return the money back as the product smells and has been used! I was insisting that I didn't use it and it didn't have any bad smell, but they clearly told me that they can't sell it again and that's why wouldn't return me any money. Then I wrote that I would write a bad review about them. This motivated them to offer me 1/2 price voucher for the next order on their website. I said no way I would order anything on your website again. Then they offered me 1/2 back on my credit card and 1/2 as a voucher. I said no, they said it's the last offer, we are sorry. I didn't see any money up until now, it's been a week. So my loss is 80 eur for the sofa cover + 10 eur shipping to Austria + 30 eur for the postage = 120 eur total. Hopefully I'll get 40 eur back on my card.

Absolutely the worst! Do not use this company! I paid an extra $35.00 to have my dress expedited for a party. I ordered it on a Saturday and 6 days later it still hasn't arrived and I don't have a costume for our party. The worst part is, you cant call anyone to talk about it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! You will be so disappointed!!!

They have No customer service, and you cant speak directly to customer service or anyone else. They are a crappy overseas company that takes your money and doesn’t deliver. If you do get lucky to receive your order it will be Months ( i.e over 60 days). Stay away from this company.

Order number 37626714 processed May 29, 2020. Allegedly shipped June 1. Never received. (granted, it's an international order in the midst of a pandemic, delays were expected). Multiple "tickets," opened and closed with promised refund (September 15, 2020) not materializing, nor promised October 15, 2020 refund. Still awaiting resolution. Despite the good reviews and for the benefit of balance, am adding (rare for me) my experience to the pool of reviews.

All these reviews are fake. They use the same phrases throughout, " pocket friendly" and "keep it up" this is all Chinese crap and they are trying to scam you out of your money

Save yourself some time and frustration and just put your money in your toilet and flush. At least then you will have a fun story to tell! Light in the box products are cheaply made and not as described. Items ship from China and no matter what they promise at checkout, you will have to pay huge customs fees to the delivery person (think 50% of your order value). Refunds are not possible because items ship without confirmation emails, order numbers or invoices. The customer service tab and refund links on the site will lead you in circles. 100 euros completely wasted on a fraudulent company.

A message from LightInTheBox TID 21521149 of Order 39230139. I place d this order on the 30th August 2020 on my credit card. I got a message from light in the box that my order was cancelled due to 'some risky payment reason' and I was advised that my money would be refunded in 2 days. I waited the 2 days and no refund. Then I messaged them on the 6th September requesting my refund, i got a message back from them saying it will take about 15 days to refund my money because it was a credit card purchase. I messaged again on the 23rd September 2020 requesting my refund and I got a message back saying my ticket was 'closed' and can no longer be replied anymore. I still have not received my refund. Dont order from light in the box!
