Amazing service from all the staff working behind the scenes to help every person booked. Think a few people need to remember that holiday reps etc are front line workers too. Myself and my grandmother are due to go to Egypt in September and I reached out to love holidays on numerous occasions about rescheduling until next year and each time they were amazing in responding in advising us what to do in order to prevent us having to spend more money. I’ve regretfully had family members pass away from covid19 and my grandmother is vulnerable. I made them aware of this and they’re constantly reassuring me that the minute flights come available for my date of choice next year that they will be more than happy to accommodate us. Amazing work from all the guys at love holidays, their patience and work ethic should be commended. Granted not all customers are happy with the outcome of their own situations however every company experiences issues during this time and unfortunately you can’t please everyone. Thank you loveholidays for the work you are all doing.

Would highly recommend to NEVER book with them ..they made their customers that booked through them during Covid 19 lives so difficult ..they promised and promised that they would make contact closer to our holiday and never did ..and looking through the messages from hundreds even into thousands it was a common thread ..but once you admit defeat and accept the voucher though your manage you booking .presto they made contact and gave the voucher number ..go figure ..they made sure you never made contact with them as the closed pretty much any access on there website and delete any phone number that was there in the past..they used the same excuse that they were inundated with calls and were processing them with limited amount of staff lol ..but had time to update there Facebook account about booking holidays through them for next year ??? STAY WELL CLEAR OF LOVEHOLIDAYS !

I requested a refund early-mid March since before Love Holidays had their own covid19 response in place thereby incurring an administrative cost to process the refund and yet I still have not received my refund that I am legally entitled to. By late March, again after contacting Love Holidays myself, I was told to wait 28 days to receive my refund and still nothing. I was due to fly out very early May and still nothing, despite them claiming they are prioritising by date of departure. No update, nothing. You just receive generic responses from the live chat with no deadlines given. This was my first and last time booking a holiday with Love Holidays. I can only hope my own, and that of many others, actual experiences deter anyone from booking with Love Holidays, or any other alias they reform under, when all this eventually blows over. How a company acts within a crisis says a lot about them and Love Holidays' total disregard for its customers is truly shocking.

I cancelled a refundable rate end of March. They take 30 Euro cancellation fee , fine, but till then more than 6 weeks ago I did not receive any money back. This is regarding all my travels the WORST EXPERIENCE ever. NEVER book with this company.

Customer service - The staff are great for updating you but never the update you want, so customer service on the company side complete rubbish. Price I was really Happy with. Delivery of returns and refunds - Complete and utterly useless. I requested a refund the day after i was due to fly only to be offered a re-schedule or credit note on the hotel (neither of these options was any good to me as this was not a holiday it was for my daughters wedding). I am still awaiting to hear on the flight. Lov Holidays you need to step up your game if you want customers to return to use your service or carry on doing what your doing if you wish the company to fold.

Loveholidays refuses to refund 2 nights not consumed in NYC due to COVID 19. They got the cash and not the bill from the hotel: it is a shame! Next time, I will contact directly hotels to book my trips. There helpdesk is unhelpful!

Heed the advice of other reviewers. Don’t ever use this company. The use of the word ‘love’ is a cheap brand trick to assume the company has your best interests at its heart. Well, reality check, it doesn’t. I echo everyone’s gripes with the appalling chat function as the only means to make contact at a time of stress. I have ‘chatted’ to a few decent people but whenever I ask probing questions I get the following script: Agent: let me transfer you through to a chat that is better able to help in your situation. Your chat is being forwarded. Please wait. You are now chatting with a new agent. The agent has disconnected from this chat session. Incredibly infuriating having waited up to an hour to just get cut off. My tale of woe began in January for a week in Crete in June with my wife as I have advanced stage 3 brain cancer, and we wanted to have a final holiday without the kids but had to cancel in February as the combination of growing coverage of Covid 19 and my chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments made me extremely vulnerable and I thought I’m not going to end my life in a Greek hospital, so cancelled as was the advice of the government and my GP. I knew cancelling would come with a cost to me but in addition to a hefty cancellation fee of £75 (which to us is not insignificant) LH also advised it would keep the airfares too per their T&Cs which were £844 for flights, plus levy me £5 for ATOL and £14.75 for transaction costs (if this was for credit card charges – they effectively kept my cash and charged me for paying them!) and then remitted around £460 back to me then from around £1,400 I’d paid them by then, being deposit and first instalment. Chatting with them yesterday they said it was clear in the T&Cs that on cancellation you would forfeit the flight cost and any manager I spoke with would also smugly hide behind the letter of their T&Cs and kept not only a cancellation fee of £75 but also £844 for the flights. This is not customer service. In my mind that is unjust and blatant undue enrichment. I accept the hefty £75 admin fee for cancelling but to then keep x11.25 times this sum by keeping my air ticket payment is iniquitous, vastly disproportionate and is so far removed from the word “Love” as to be laughable. Today I heard via a senior BA contact that LH (I choose not to call them Love Holidays as they are a money grabbing loveless, non-compassionate, non-empathetic company) that BA have fully refunded LH the money for all the June flights that were bulk bought by LH. At this unprecedented time when there is a lot of goodness and kindness coming to the fore, I would be ashamed to be associated with LH in any regard. A Director needs to get involved and exercise some discretion here and not cause unnecessary stress to those of us with little time left who didn’t have a crystal ball when we booked our holidays. The company is an utter disgrace to the industry.

Wouldn’t even give one star. If ever needed help with changing payment dates they were rude over the phone. Paid over 2500 for a holiday we can no longer go on due to corona and won’t give our money back. They’re even requesting almost 500 pounds now

Please complain about love holidays. To the below as they jave no right to con people and offer vouchers instead of full cash refunds. Additionally, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) are asking consumers to report any business that they feel is acting unfairly throughout this Coronavirus outbreak and I would encourage you to visit their website and share your own experiences.

I just wanted to write a review as we have received great customer service from Love Holidays. We were due to get married in July this year in Cyprus but now can’t and they have very quickly changed us to July next year. Did not charge an amendment fee and got our hotel for £119 cheaper. Was all done quickly and efficiently. Very pleased and would use them again

Tried to contact 3x for a refund for an error of booking same person twice. Told me open next week call back. Allison chat advisor was extremely rude and unhelpful... think she needs customer care training. Infact they are all just disconnecting the chat.. awful service.never book again with them. I just want my money back... down right robbery!!

I appear to be like many others on this site, I read their FAQ's about refund and duely waited expecting I would be contacted.... Nothing! My hol date arrived... Nothing!.. Contacted them twice via on line chat, same story both times they must have script to work from, so emailed, guess what... Nothing! I should now have returned from hol, yes you've guessed it... Nothing!.... Don't they realise holding onto people's money they will loose many customers, let alone acting illegally.

This company if you can call them that are disgusting, dishonest . The holiday was cancelled due to covid virus, I moved the flights so I could rebook in October when I hubby was off work, and when I went to rebook just the hotel and transfers, but the voucher reduced in value by 200 pounds , it appeared that they wanted you to rebook the whole thing again and pay for the flights again. But why should I, and also they wanted more money as well, o I feel conned because the voucher is not worth the full value. I have requested a refund but they said it would take 30 days, and I would have to take the flights up with easyJet, but I feel cheated because I only moved the flights so I could rebook the holiday, but I can’t cause I can’t get the full value of the voucher to use. I tried to look at July when my husband is off but it’s double the price I can’t afford that. So I have hired a solicitor and I want all my money back 881.00 pounds love holidays, or it will be see u in court, I would not recommend this company or would I encourage others to use them. When u use livechat online they cut you off, pls don’t use this company they are rip of merchants and don’t care once they have your money, this is on behalf of me Sharon Burkett and my husband Brian Burkett.

My holiday was cancelled & I have tried them so many times on live chat and no one responds. I sent them messages on my booking since April 1st & no reply. They took the rest of the holiday payment after holiday was booked and I’ve not heard anything at all from them

SCAM!!! Like many others on this page I cancelled my holiday prior to my hand being forced. I was told I’d have a refund within 5 days and since then it’s been 6 weeks, they have tried to say it’s a voucher twice but when the idiots actually look at my file it’s clear I cancelled out of choice and chose to pay the cancellation fee. I’ve been cut off on live chat, emailed by ‘managers’, I even got a phone call which I couldn’t take and of course there is no way to call back. I’ve messaged their CEO and today I was told they are refunding in departure order. So I asked what departure date are they up to? I was told they don’t know and it’s private bla bla bla This company is keeping as much money in their bank for as long as possible as without it the company will plummet. It does not take 6 weeks to make a simple refund payment. If TUI can sort their customers out within 28 days why can’t loveholidays? I’ve asked for a GDPR access report (SAR) as once I’ve got proof of the rubbish I’ve been told I will take this public. If I hear once more how busy they are, and how hard times are for the travel industry. Times are hard for everyone and we don’t have an investment group to pay our bills. Company is a scam and I agree with every negative review I’ve seen! Stay away, if they continue trading that is!!!
