“Holiday cancelled, no contact feom love holidays at all, no refund, no response. Will never use again”

“Holiday on 15th March cancelled. Finally got refund of accommodation and transfers but they say flight should be claimed from Ryanair. I contend my holiday was a package so LH should refund the flights. Have now gone for chargeback with my bank. Everything that people say on here about LH is true. I left a number of 1 star reviews on Trustpilot initially but LH got me threatened by Truspilot. They also have a large number of highly suspicious 5 star reviews claiming to have been in touch with LH and got refunds. C^&p. I have reported these fake reviews to Trustpilot but i think there is some sort of a deal going with LH and TP as the reviewer is penalised for speaking the truth to help others in the future. This review site seems to represent the truth more and LH haven't been able to nobble the site.”

“My holiday was due in September, the government announced don’t expect to have holiday abroad this year, as the European countries are not letting people in from the Uk. I did what I had to do back in early April because love holidays was not and still not answering telephone calls as their lines are cut off. Live chat is not working , no response to emails. So I called my bank to stop payments on my bank card other wise Love Holidays would have kept taking money out. I get a generic email everyday from them. Saying the say thing. Just ignore it. Because no one has been in touch since the start of Covid 19. I urge everyone to do the same, if your still paying contact your bank if you don’t want to lose any more of your hard earned money and in times like Covid19 no one can afford to be out of pocket. Love Holidays are a mindless company who simply don’t care. I would rather loose my holiday than loose anymore money. It’s taught me something about Love Holidays, a small company in Lancing, not offices based, people working from home. A company that cannot be trusted. So those 5 star reviews your reading are all fakes, there from their own staff making Love Holidays look good. Good luck on all of you who wish to continue to pay for your holidays which are simply not happening this year. As the government and watch dog have said do not accept vouchers if Love Holidays go bust which is the way their heading, not only have you lost your holiday but money to. You may see your money in 6 to 8 months time but don’t expect to get all of it back.”

“I find love holidays not to trusted, when you need to speak to them no one answers and live chat is never open. You struggle to get a refund from this company. Will never use love holidays again. Appalling customer service.”

“Flights cancelled for June 29th. Haven’t heard anything from love holidays. They won’t even open the live chat, have had it open for hours at a time. Final payment due but I need clarification before I pay it, it’s not fair”

“Flight cancelled 24th March as part of a package holiday...still awaiting a cash refund no commmunication from loveholidays no calls no emails no messages..contacted via live chat and told refunds being dealt with in date order but I’ve heard nothing after more than 2 months...I even had my live chat ended by the operator when I insisted I was entitled to a cash refund and then withholding my money was illegal..I also got told they were awaiting my flight refund from emirates but when I rang emirates they told me it hadn’t been requested and that it was a simple process by the supplier ...”

“Dear all, beware this company they are a disgrace, contacting them is impossible as they provide no way to do it, they have failed to contact within the last 7 days prior to my holiday due to start as they promised by e mail when covid problems first became apparent. Do not book with them you will just lose your money, you have been warned.”

“am disappointed, my flight has been cancelled by the airline, loveholidays said they would contact me for an option, but they haven't since, leaving me in a limbo, and flights are getting expensive, so for this reason, I am not going to book again with them, as they have stopped phone calls, and they are only using chat, which is not working either, I have found a better deal elsewhere, so they are even more expensive at this time, it's a shame they are not acting quickly enough to save holidaymakers their holidays in the upcoming months. They treat me on chat very bad, I am complaining with them and I will ask chargeback with my bank. Loads of fake reviews saying good, you can clearly see when is a fake. In the middle of this pandemic, this company shows they have no empathy.”

“I’m disgusted at love holidays, they are ignoring their customers, I’m still waiting for a refund since April 9th, they don’t respond at all and they lie. People want their money back now not in another 2 months, people need their money back I certainly do. I will never book with love holidays again ever”

“Joke of a company total lack of communication ability with this company. Holiday was cancelled waiting to board flight to Lanzarote only messaging managed at time was claim of insurance. As like many other people no response or follow up communication with them. No chat line, no phone and no manage my bookings messaging response . Warning never use this company.”

“We are due to go on holiday in July and are paying instalments. We have been told that our flight has been cancelled so our holiday will not go ahead yet love holidays continues to try to take payment. I have had to put a stop on these with my credit card company but I still keep getting emails. They have not contacted about refunding my payment so far and it is impossible to get through to them or to email them. Very shoddy. I would never use this company again and would never recommend.”

“Appalling company that ignore, lie, misled and change their terms and conditions to suit. Booked to travel 6th April - holiday cancelled 20th March by Love Holidays promised a refund. UK went into lockdown I was then told credit note only (against their terms and conditions - 14 day refund). I have been lied to repeatedly. They have even contested my chargeback with the bank stating my refund should be from Ryanair! I have only paid Love Holidays for a package holiday! Whatever you do don’t book with this company!! As for Trust pilot - clearly instead of helping their customers they are writing fake reviews. There’s even a Facebook group against the company thousands of customers had their money stolen and told you’ll get it back eventually after COVID-19 I will never book with Love Holidays again and cannot see how as a business they will survive now”

“when things go wrong, love holidays shut down their phone lines, dont answer emails, also waited hours on live chat to be disconected. might think your getting cheap holiday but when things go wrong they run and hide. then to make matters worse they change terms and conditions to suit themselves. jameswilson78don't use if you can avoid.”

“Can't find email address or phone number. Should have had holiday 4th May. They told me that they would refund my hote only and that Ryan Air have to refund flights. Can't understand that, as I paid all my money to love holidays. I'll be tweeting Martin Lewis, writing to the Daily Mail travel expert and the Civil Aviation authority. I'll never book with this company again!!!”

“Booked a holiday with love holidays 2 days later they emailed saying they have to put the price of the holiday up £200 because of popularity we had already paid the deposit do not book with these they will just put the price up after you pay the deposit they did the same to the mother in law”
